A continuation of the 2003 drama of the same name.
FujiTV showed the sequel of "Dr. Koto ~Shinryoushou~" in autumn from October where Hidetaka Yoshioka and Kou Shibasaki appeared with the original cast for this drama. Yoshioka plays a young doctor Kensuke Koto who works at a faraway island in the south of Japan while Shibasaki plays his girlfriend Ayaka who's also his nurse. In the first episode of this sequel, it was made known that Ayaka is suffering from an illness which results in changes between Koto and her.
Yu Aoi would be one of the regular cast members for the drama. She played a newbie nurse by the name of Mina who works together with the doctor, Koto on the faraway island for a particular reason and constantly makes mistakes as compared to Shibasaki's character.

Based on the popular manga series of the same name by Tomoko Ninomiya, music student Shinichi Chiaki (played by Hiroshi Tamaki) dreams of studying abroad and becoming a conductor like his mentor but his fear of flying grounds his plans! The third in the "Boku" series. The first two being "Boku no Ikiru Michi" in 2003 and "Boku to Kanojo to Kanojo no Ikiru Michi" in 2004, both were critically acclaimed and did very well in ratings. This time, the theme would be on purity. SMAP's Tsuyoshi Kusanagi played Teruaki Otake, a 31-year-old man who has the intellectual capacity of a 6-year-old due to a congenital disorder.
