Naomi Campbell’s Rep Explains Heathrow Arrest

A rep for Naomi Campbell is defending the supermodel, in the wake of her arrest at London’s Heathrow Airport earlier today.

“Naomi was flying to Los Angeles for a memorial service on Thursday, April 3. She arrived at Heathrow Terminal 5 in plenty of time, checked her two bags in and was told they would make the flight,” Naomi’s rep, Jeff Raymond, said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

“Once on the plane, she was told one bag could not be found and was missing. [British Airways] decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her from the flight,” Raymond’s statement continued. “She was taken to the Heathrow Police Station and released on police bail.”

Campbell was arrested at Heathrow airport sometime after 4:30 PM local time, on Thursday.

Britain’s Sky News claimed a source told them that Campbell was held for a time on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Passengers claimed the 37-year-old supermodel was aggressive, rude and abusive to flight staff during the incident, the UK’s Press Association reported.

Campbell was cuffed while on the plane, witnesses said.

The supermodel is not the only passenger to have been caught up in a baggage crisis at Heathrow.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, over 20,000 bags have gone missing from Heathrow’s Terminal 5, a terminal served exclusively by British Airways.

“So far as we are aware [British Airways] have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5,” Campbell’s rep added.

Chin Up, Paris — You're Gonna Be on TV Tonight!

Prague was probably not Paris' favorite stop on her trip overseas, and she looks to still be a bit self-conscious about her bruised chin after her little accident, however, today was a new day in a new country, and the heiress looks happier cuddling up to Benji in Finland. She'll also be gracing our TV screens tonight when My Name is Earl returns after the long writers' strike hiatus. It may not be as exciting as Britney on How I Met Your Mother, but anything's better than the last seasons of The Simple Life.

Gibson Wants No 'Passion' Disclosure

Mel Gibson, who's being sued by a writer over payment for the "The Passion of the Christ" screenplay, wants to keep financial information about the blockbuster movie out of the public eye.

Benedict Fitzgerald claimed in his February lawsuit that Gibson misled him into accepting a small payment for writing the script by saying the movie would cost between $4 million and $7 million.

Fitzgerald, who shared screenwriting credits with Gibson, claimed he agreed to "a salary substantially less than what he would have taken had he known the true budget for the film," which the lawsuit claimed was $25 million to $50 million. The lawsuit claims fraud, breach of contract and unjust enrichment, and seeks unspecified damages.

In court filings Tuesday, attorneys for Gibson and his production company asked the court to seal the movie's financial records and only allow Fitzgerald's lawyers access to them. The information details the movie's domestic and foreign box office receipts, production costs and distribution expenses.

The defense is also seeking to dismiss some of Fitzgerald's claims, including fraud, which if proven would allow Fitzgerald to seek punitive damages.

Review: 'Battlestar Galactica' final frontier

It seems hard to imagine as it enters its fourth - and final - season tonight, but "Battlestar Galactica" remains the best drama nobody seems to be watching. Well, the loyalists are watching - and they are crazy for the sci-fi series that was "reimagined" from the cheesy late 1970s series into a minimalist, dark, ambitious wonder.

"Battlestar Galactica" is a sci-fi series perfectly suited for people who normally don't like science fiction. That's because it has never been a big-budget production and it forced the show's creators, writers and actors to improvise the ways they told stories. In short, they got creative and found a way to be better than they likely would have been with more money. Instead of pyrotechnic effects, the emphasis is on the writing; the acting, which is raw but nuanced; and the direction, which must be nimble as most scenes are shot inside a cramped spaceship.

Though "Battlestar Galactica" also satisfies the sci-fi aficionado with an intricate backstory about a postapocalyptic battle between man and machines in deep space, it has never had any of the antiseptic distance that most sci-fi shows give off. Instead, "Battlestar Galactica" has been intimate - at times in the viewer's face with nervy, emotional landscapes as opposed to computer-generated effects that don't stimulate anyone's brain, much less heart.

But what really separates "Battle- star Galactica" from most dramas, not just sci-fi series, is that it has a fearlessness in tackling big issues. War, race, religion, gender equity and, particularly this season, personal identity (and what it means to be human, or not) have been prevalent from the start. You just don't see that very often - anywhere.

Importantly, new fans can get into this series immediately (not only because the Sci-Fi Channel does a wonderful job of recapping, but because despite the emotional depths of the storytelling, the actual thread you need to follow is right there on the surface).

The series kicked off with the conceit that after their world was annihilated, only 12 space colonies were left. But other, closer problems arose: Man created Cylons, smart robots used as soldiers or in the service of humans. But they evolved and a brutal battle erupted. There is detente and peace for 39 years as the Cylons and humans occupied remote areas of space. But on the 40th anniversary, the humans discover just how far the Cylons have evolved: They look exactly like humans but can't be killed. And they regenerate. The Cylons stage a surprise attack and wipe out billions of humans in the process. Fewer than 40,000 remain, and they all live on starships, looking for their mythical 13th colony: Earth.

Edward James Olmos stars as Admiral William Adama, commander of the Battlestar Galactica, an older starship that was about to be mothballed before the Cylon invasion. Mary McDonnell plays President Laura Roslin, who was secretary of education - about 12 steps removed from the presidency, at the time of the Cylon invasion. She survived breast cancer partly through the help of a Cylon-human baby (the first and only known) named Hera.

Both Olmos and McDonnell lend a certain ballast to the old notions of sci-fi theatricality. As veteran actors, they hold down the series but, in truth, a wide variety of solid performances throughout the ensemble cast kept this series intriguing and viable from Season 1 on.

The standouts are Michael Hogan as Saul Tigh, the ship's main military commander - furiously bitter, he's a hater of the Cylons (who took one of his eyes out when he was a prisoner) and he's an unrepentant alcoholic. Katee Sackhoff is Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, a fearless and sexy pilot who throws punches and disdains hugs. Grace Park plays a dual role as Sharon, a reformed Cylon (named Boomer, who infiltrated Battlestar Galactica as a pilot and nearly assassinated Adama) who marries Karl "Helo" Agathon, and the two had baby Hera (who was snatched by the commanding officers for study while Helo and Sharon were told the baby died). Sharon finds it hard to be accepted, of course, because nobody trusts her Cylon origins. Another great character is Galen Tyrol (Aaron Douglas), the no-nonsense deck chief who plays the everyman to great effect, further humanizing the sci-fi element on the show.

This is the little series that could, primarily because it found so many creative ways to go beyond the us-against-them theme in profoundly original ways. Every time you expect "Battlestar Galactica" to be about blasting a Cylon, it takes more meaningful turns into the bigger issues mentioned above.

Two of the best twists that ended Season 3 were the discovery that four of the "final five" advanced Cylons masquerading as humans were actually on the Galactica - characters fans had identified one way for so many episodes that it was hard to fathom. The four are Saul and Galen; Samuel T. Anders (Michael Trucco), who is married to Starbuck; and Tory Foster (Rekha Sharma), who plays the president's chief of staff. In Season 4, they are burdened by the revelation - known only to them - that they are Cylons. The other twist in Season 3 was the apparent death of Starbuck as she veered off course in a battle. She's back (not much of a surprise there, given her popularity) but claims to have found Earth. Naturally, Adama and Roslin and the rest of the Galactica crew believe she's a Cylon - so once again, identity (and loyalty and love) are at the core of the final season.

There are many small and wonderful dramatic accomplishments in the underappreciated gem that is "Battlestar Galactica," but perhaps the most enduring is that what was conceived of as an epic space adventure has turned into a finely detailed, intimate drama. By avoiding the overblown pomp of traditional sci-fi material, the series can focus on the circumstances of the human condition. It's a brilliant genre twist that more people need to discover.

Katee 'Starbuck' Sackhoff on the End of 'Battlestar Galactica'

The end of a space odyssey is close at hand as the fourth and final season of "Battlestar Galactica" premieres on Friday, April 4 at 10:00 p.m. on SCI FI. So who better to discuss the series' swan song than sexy KATEE SACKHOFF, whose recently resurrected character, Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace, has met her end once before!

"It is sad," Katee says of moving on. "I'm really going to feel the pain of it until the very end." Fans of the show will surely sympathize, but they also have pressing questions about season four. Namely: Do Katee or her fellow cast members have any theories as to who the final, dreaded Cylon is?

"We do [speculate] about it sometimes," the actress tells ET, "but as far as who it is, I don't think any of us will know for sure until we see it on television." The other four actors who recently learned their characters were secretly Cylon had a hard time stomaching the news, she says. "I still think MICHAEL HOGAN [Colonel Saul Tigh] hasn't come to terms with it."

Meanwhile, what about those mysterious season four billboards depicting the cast in a "Last Supper" pose? Are there, in fact, secret messages or a "magic eye" puzzle hidden within it?

"The plastic sheath with Anders is interesting," Katee admits. "And the fact that they made Tricia the messiah is pretty interesting, too … I wish I knew what they [the show's producers] were thinking."

The beginning of season four finds Starbuck "very fragile" and "extremely lost" as she leads the surviving human race to planet Earth. Looking back, Katee says she sometimes dealt with acting challenges that left her feeling a little lost, too!

"I would say that the sex scenes are a lot harder than I think anything that I've ever had to do on the show," she confesses to ET. "It's not natural -- it's just odd, very odd. It makes you kind of feel cheap. Like you're being paid to, or being allowed to in a sense, cheat on your significant other. It's very weird."

But when "Battlestar Galactica" finally powers down, Katee says her journey will have been a gratifying and momentous one: "What was so interesting about our show is that we never relied on the science fiction of the show to drive the show. We relied on the drama and the human condition and those really important questions ... So, I think that it kind of opened doors in science fiction to realize that."

Fun Facts : Madonna

Watching her roll around onstage in a wedding dress and fishnet stocking at the 1984 MTV Video Music Awards, few could have predicted that Madonna would become a cultural force to be reckoned with over the next two decades.

Since that moment, the Catholic schoolgirl turned Kabbalist has made movies, launched style trends, sparked religious controversy, sold over 200 million records, and proved herself to be a savvy businesswoman.

Offstage, Madonna took on the roles of wife, mother, children's-book author and humanitarian. In 1996, her daughter Lourdes was born, and in 2000, Madonna married British film director Guy Ritchie. The two have a son, Rocco, and are in the process of adopting a boy from Malawi named David. The family primarily resides in England.

Madonna: Five Fun Facts

1. Contrary to the tough-girl image she's cultivated over the years, Madonna was an avid cheerleader who got straight A's and helped found her high school drama club.

2. Madonna cleaned houses and worked as a hatcheck girl at the Russian Tea Room while studying dance in Manhattan.

3. What's in a name? "My mother always wanted to go to Lourdes," Madonna told PEOPLE, "so for sentimental reasons, I named my daughter that."

4. Madonna once was addicted to yoga, practicing seven days a week. "I could've been a member of Cirque du Soleil. It got to the point where I didn't have a glass of wine and I had to go to bed early because everything was around my yoga."

5. Madonna was recognized by Guinness Book of World Records in 2000 for having the most costume changes: she broke the record with 85 in Evita. According to the BBC, Madonna donned "39 hats, 45 pairs of shoes and 56 pairs of earrings."

The trade-paper plug is just the latest strike in Kimmel and Damon's ongoing feud. Still no word, however, if Ben Affleck is plotting something equally romantic for his recently outed close friend.

Brad Pitt's Philanthropy Runs in the Family

Brad and Doug Pitt

For years, friends in Springfield, Missouri, have remarked on the physical resemblance between Brad Pitt and his only brother, Doug. But the two share a deeper similarity: their commitment to charitable causes.

On Wednesday, Doug announced the creation of the Care to Learn Fund, a program designed to meet the immediate health, hunger, and hygiene needs of students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools, where both Brad and Doug spent their early years.

"Springfield is an awesome city," Doug told PEOPLE. "But like every city in America, we have poverty here. We have kids coming to school wearing shorts in 20-degree weather. We have kids who are hungry. We have girls who don't come to school because they don't have feminine products."

Through the Care to Learn Fund (www.caretolearnfund.com), every dollar raised locally for the next three years will be matched with three dollars: $1 by the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, $1 by Springfield philanthropist Jim D. Morris, and $1 by an anonymous donor.

"It's a cool deal," explains Doug, one of the founders of Care to Learn. "I told Brad about some of the stories I'd heard of kids here in Springfield. He was on board from day one."

In addition to helping launch the Care to Learn Fund, Doug serves as the 2008 chairman of Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. Last year he sold a majority share of his computer company – in part so he could devote more time to charity.

"I just got back from Africa a few weeks ago," said Doug. "I'm involved with a group that's helping to drill water wells."

Carrie Underwood Reveals Text-Message Split from Chace

When Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford split up, the couple called it quits digital style, says the country star.

"It was completely mutual," Underwood told Extra at the taping of Idol Gives Back. "We broke up over text so ... it's like 'peace out.' "

According to Underwood, the breakup wasn't a tearful confrontation, but a realization that the romance just wasn't meant to be between her and the Gossip Girl hunk. "It just didn't work," she said. "We both knew it didn't work and [had] no hard feelings at all whatsoever."

Although the couple hasn't spoken recently, Underwood has nothing negative to say about her ex. "I don't dislike him, so it's no big deal."

The split was a bit harder on Crawford, however. "He was upset about the breakup," his sister, Candice, told PEOPLE last week. "It's always hard when you lose a relationship."

Underwood reveals that her high profile relationship was made harder by fame. "It's difficult while you're dating because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are," she tells Extra. "Then when you break up with somebody and then like two months later it comes out and it's like you're rehashing old stuff. I don't know what that's all out now."

Source: Beyoncé and Jay-Z Are Married

After years of speculation, singer Beyoncé Knowles wed her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, a friend of the couple's tells PEOPLE.

Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."

The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

The wedding buzz began when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday.

DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin. "Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for Jay Z and Beyoncé's wedding party to happen," says another source.

Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building in Tribeca, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers.

A source tells PEOPLE that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.

A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world.

Still, marriage seemed to be in the cards – eventually. "I never pictured myself as a bride," she told Cosmopolitan in January 2006, "but after my sister's wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I'd want. I don't think I want a big one."

Jury: Driver, Paparazzi to Blame for Princess Di's Death

The jury at the inquest into the 1997 deaths of Princess Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed found they were unlawfully killed because of the actions of their driver and the pursuing paparazzi, it was announced Monday.

The couple's deaths were caused by the "unlawful, negligent driving of the Mercedes and the following vehicles," the 11 jurors determined.

The jury also delivered a damning verdict for driver Henri Paul, who also perished in the Paris traffic tunnel crash. The accident, they said, was "caused or contributed to" by the speed and manner of driving of the Mercedes and the following vehicles, the impairment of the driver through alcohol, the fact that neither were wearing seatbelts and that the car hit a pillar in the Paris underpass.

The jury's decision followed more than 23 hours of deliberation. Earlier Monday, the coroner Lord Justice Scott Baker said the 11 members could return a majority verdict so long as nine of them agreed.

The inquest opened in October and lasted more than six months. In that time, claims and counterclaims about the events leading up to the tragic event of Aug. 31, 1997, were heard.

Friends of the princess's recounted how her former boyfriend, surgeon Hasnat Khan, was her real true love, while tender notes to and from Diana to both her father-in-law Prince Philip and Fayed – the son of Harrods department-store owner Mohamed Al Fayed – were also presented.

Khan broke his silence during the inquest to say of the proceeding, "I hope it settles all the questions."

Reaction to Findings
After Monday's announcement, Mohamed Al Fayed said he was "disappointed" with the outcome. He has long promoted the theory that the couple were murdered by the secret service at the behest of the royal family.

"The verdicts have come as a blow to many millions of people around the world," said a statement read by his spokeswoman Katharine Witty. Adding that the inquest had proven that the couple were in a "serious relationship, his statement went on to say, "They were taken away in the prime of their life when they were at their happiest. I will always mourn their loss to me and the world."

Also appearing distressed was Princess Diana's sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, who was present in court to hear the verdicts. She left 25 minutes later, looking grim. Accompanying her was Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, private secretary to Prince William and Prince Harry.

The entire investigation took three-and-a-half years, with the inquest costing an estimated $16 million, according to Scotland Yard's deputy commissioner Paul Stephenson. He and former commissioner Lord Stevens also said the jury verdict vindicated their findings that there was no conspiracy.

Princes William & Harry Agree with Jury in Diana Inquest

Following Monday's findings by an inquest jury that Princess Diana's 1997 death was due to the actions of the driver and the pursuing paparazzi, Prince William and Prince Harry issued a statement expressing thanks – and agreeing with the conclusion.

"We should like to thank the members of the Jury at the Inquests into the deaths of our mother and Dodi Al Fayed for the thorough way in which they have considered the evidence," their statement reads. "We agree with their verdicts, and are both hugely grateful to each and every one of them for the forbearance they have shown in accepting such significant disruption to their lives over the past six months.

"Both of us are much indebted to the Coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker, for his unfailing courtesy, and for all the consideration shown by him and his staff not only to us but to all those involved in this hearing. We are particularly grateful to Trevor Rees, and to others who came forward to give evidence – in many cases reawakening their painful and personal memories."

Rees had been the bodyguard of Diana's boyfriend Dodi Fayed, and the only survivor of the Aug. 31, 1997, Paris tunnel car crash that claimed the lives of the couple as well as that of their intoxicated driver, Henri Paul.

"Finally," the princes concluded, "the two of us would like to express our most profound gratitude to all those who fought so desperately to save our mother's life on that tragic night."

Tiffani Thiessen: Yes to Babies, No to 90210 Spinoff

Tiffani Thiessen says she's not likely to be involved in the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff – but she has another project in mind.

"We're hoping to get pregnant soon," Thiessen, 34, told PEOPLE Saturday at the Indy 500 warm-up party celebrating the Rubicon Race Team at pal Jason Priestley's house.

The actress, who wed actor-artist Brady Smith in 2005, says she and her husband are "in talks" about having a child. "We're very seriously talking about it."

For Thiessen, it seems like the right time to expand her family. "We've been married for almost three years, so it's time," she said. "We wanted to be selfish with each other for a little while. We didn't want to rush into it, but now we're really, really wanting that."

As for her timeframe, "Hopefully, within the year – maybe even sooner than that," she said.

Asked if maybe she was already expecting, she laughed and replied, "No, I would tell you! I think it's the pre-glow of wanting it to happen."

In terms of the new 90210, Thiessen says she won't be doing any guest appearances. "I wish them all the best, but it's not something I will be a part of."

Rob Lowe Accuses Babysitter of Extortion Attempt

Source: Mischa Barton to Accept Plea Deal in DUI Case

Mischa Barton will accept a plea deal in her DUI case, sparing her any jail time, a source tells PEOPLE.

The former O.C. star will plead no contest to DUI at her arraignment Thursday in Beverly Hills court, and agree to serve a three-year unsupervised probation term, the source says.

Barton will also be sentenced to a three-month alcohol-education class, and pay a fine of approximately $1,700. In addition, a marijuana possession charge against the actress will be dropped, due to the small amount found. Another charge of driving without a license will be reduced to an infraction, according to the source.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office would not comment on the case.

The terms of the plea deal, negotiated by Barton's lawyer Anthony V. Salerno, are expected to be signed off on by the court Thursday. Such a deal is common for first-time offenders.

Barton, 22, was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles on Dec. 27, after sheriff deputies spotted her weaving between two lanes of traffic and she failed to signal when making a turn.

On Jan. 10, Barton told Ryan Seacrest's L.A. radio show: "Obviously I'm 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case. I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know what to say about it, except that I'm not perfect, and I just don't ever intend to do something this stupid again."

Woman who killed two Scientologists pleads not-guilty

A 25-year-old woman has today pled not-guilty to the murder of her father and sister, who were active members of the Church of Scientology.

The woman today pled not-guilty to their murders at the New South Wales Supreme Court, following their stabbings deaths last year.

It is believed that the woman was suffering from a significant psychotic illness, but was denied assistance from mental health professionals because of her family's religious beliefs.

The Church of Scientology regularly campaign against the use of psychiatry and mental health professionals in problems faces by it's members.

It was alleged last year that the woman was prevented from receiving assistance from the New South Wales Health Department because of her parents had refused the treatment.

The then 24-year-old went on to stab both her father and sister, and also injured her mother.

A trial date has been set down for July, with the case only expected to last about one week.

It is understood the main issue will be that of the woman's mental health, and any assistance given to her from about 2006 onwards.

Dating Upwards

She sure knows how to pick 'em!

When she first moved to Los Angeles, no one knew Australian actress/singer Sophie Monk.

Within a few months of being here, Sophie began dating Benji Madden and she scored a place on the D-list.

Now that that relationship is over, the blonde bombshell has her eyes set on….. Ryan Secarest!

The TV and radio personality was spotted with Monk leaving L.A. Foxtail nightclub in the same car this past weekend.

Maybe they're "just friends," but they'd be an ideal couple.

It'd be like a real-life Ken and Barbie!

P.S. Sophie's now on the D+ list!

If You Are Easily Offended…

Warning: So wrong. So so wrong.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald:

"Incest couple had another child"

A South Australian woman who has an infant daughter after having sex with her father gave birth to another of his children seven years ago.

The child was conceived in Rockhampton, Queensland, but died a few days after birth because of a congenital heart disease, according to court records.

Jennifer Anne Deaves, 39, and John Earnest Deaves, 61, each pleaded guilty in the South Australian District Court on March 20 to two counts of performing an act of incest with the other.

Sentencing transcripts reveal that their daughter, Celeste, and Ms Deaves's two other children from a previous marriage were taken into care by South Australia's Department for Families and Communitiesbut had since been returned.

South Australian District Court judge Steven Millsteed took into account the pair's early guilty pleas and the "consensual nature of your relationship" and recorded a single conviction for each of them.

They were released on a $500 good behaviour bond.

According to the transcripts, Mr Deaves was married to Ms Deaves's mother about 40 years ago.

She divorced him when he was serving a prison sentence for armed robbery, while Ms Deaves was three or four years old.

Mr Deaves's former wife did not encourage contact between him and his daughter, and it was about 30 years before they resumed contact.

By about 2000, Mr Deaves was living with another wife and child at Yongala in South Australia and Ms Deaves was living with a former husband and two children, now nine and 11, in Sydney.

Ms Deaves took her two children to stay with Mr Deaves in 2000 for about three weeks, during which time they became attracted to each other but did not develop a physical relationship.

Later in the year Mr and Ms Deaves each ended their marriages and began living together and moved to Rockhampton.

The first count of incest related to the conception of the first child while the second related to their second, Celeste, who was born last year after the couple moved to Port Pirie in South Australia.

They then moved to Bordertown in South Australia where the couple attracted the attention of the Department for Families and Communities.

"The police subsequently investigated the matter. When interviewed by police you both made full admissions," Judge Millsteed told the pair during sentencing.

Judge Millsteed said the offences were "atypical" cases of incest.

"This is not a case where a father has violated his daughter and used his position of authority to take advantage of her powerlessness," he said.

"Rather, this is a case of a mutually consensual union, formed by adults, who had previously had little contact.

"However, the offence of incest exists not merely to protect children from sexual abuse. In my view, other relevant factors include the need to prevent the high risk of congenital defects of children born of incestuous relationships and to prevent children, who are brought up in a family unit founded on an incestuous relationship, suffering psychological harm and social stigmatisation. Those factors assume significance in this case."

Judge Millsteed acknowledged that as a condition of bail, Mr Deaves was banned from contacting Ms Deaves or her children but "this order has exacerbated your depression and caused you to attempt suicide on two occasions".

"I will not make it a condition of bond that you not see each other. In my view such a condition would be unfair," Judge Millsteed said.

The pair were banned from sexual contact with each other as part of their bond.

The U.K. government is determined to keep Snoop Dogg OUT of their country!

The guv is challenging a decision made by one of its asylum immigration tribunals in January, which granted Snoop clearance to enter the U.K. again.

Snoop was cautioned in 2006 on 'suspicion of affray' (suspicion that he's going to disturb the peace) after he was arrested at London's Heathrow Airport for acting up and later banned from entering the U.K.

The Brits seemed to be a little freaked by Snoop because he's been convicted of gun and drugs charges here in the US.

Who hasn't been convicted of gun and drug charges?????

According to a new report, Campbell thinks she was targeted because of her race.

Did the fact that she spat on a police officer not have anything to do with it??????

We're pretty sure that anyone who spits at an officer would be arrested too!

A source also reports that the officer Naomi victimized had to undergo a precautionary hepatitis and HIV test..

WTF? Did the cop have an open wound or did Naomi spit directly into his mouth?

Another story claims that British Airways is looking into banning Campbell from the airline for life.

Can you imagine if other airlines follow suit? Naomi, banned in the skies!

She can always fly private, if she has any money left after all her legal bills.

The Spice known as Scary and former boy-bander Joey Fatone will be co-hosting The Singing Office on cable channel TLC.

It's a tongue-in-cheek singing competition that pits different groups of employees against each other.

Oh, shiz. That may cause some dramz at the workplace! Getting your ass kicked by Muffy, never a good thing.

The busy Spice gal says the show is not like American Idol or Dancing With the Stars. "It's not a serious competition. It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their co-workers," she says.

Sounds like a show that will feature a lot of hot messes! We can't wait!

Madge, Come Home!

Madonna's hometown wants her back. They're even going through Poppa Ciccone to get her.

Mayor Charles M. Brunner of Bay City, Michigan, is offering her Madjesty a key to the city, where her father still lives, including her 96 year old grandmother, and other family members.

And included in the festivities, there are plans to recruit local musicians to cover some of her largest hits, and there's even talks about commissioning an artist to make a sculpture of her.

Mayor Brunner has emailed Poppa Ciccone, and is awaiting a response.

But will Madonna accept an offer from a city that's rejected her so many times?????

Back in 1985, then Mayor Timothy G. Sullivan refused to give her a key since she was considered a bit too "risque for such an honor."

Also in the late '80s, city officials refused to accept an Italian sculpture of Madonna, since they believed she would lose her popularity over time.

Someone was wrong!!!!!

City Commissioner Christopher J. Shannon said "Far and wide, she wields significant influence in the arts and entertainment world. For Bay City to turn its back on that, it would be a shame."

She's a legend, bitches.

Respect!

New “Quantum of Solace” Movie Stills

USA Today has released a few new movie stills for the new James Bond film. The star of the film, Daniel Craig, shared a bit about his character in Quantum of Solace:

“He has his heart broken,” says Craig. “The love of his life is killed, and he finds out she’s not who she said she was. … He’s out for revenge. But he’s also out to find — and this is what the title is about — a ‘quantum of solace.’ Something has been taken away from him, and he’s out to get that back.”

Added Craig, “It’s a simplistic story that has been around for a long, long time: There’s one lone hero going after the bad guys. It has been around forever. But you have to apply morals to it, and within that you show somebody’s flaws. That’s what makes them interesting, the mistakes they make along the way and how they adjust.

“The fact is he’s hurt. He’s damaged and he wants revenge. And that’s another facet of somebody, and it’s not a good emotion to have. You’ve got to see how he deals with it. Last time around, it was just duty and duty alone. This time around, there’s a sense of revenge. That’s how he’s going to screw up. Because he will — but then he gets up and gets it right.”

Quantum of Solace has a tentative release date of Nov. 7 and is being directed by Marc Forster (The Kite Runner, Finding Neverland).

Ellen Pompeo: I Sold Vodka at the Age of 15

Click to Watch

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo had a very interesting childhood story to tell on Friday’s The Late Show with David Letterman. Apparently, as a 15-year-old, Ellen sold Vodka to baseball fans at Fenway Park, the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

On selling herself at such a young age
: “I made a great living at Fenway when I was 15-years-old. There were lots of guys in the neighborhood and there were always these great job opportunities at the time. They all seemed very nice, innocent and fun!” (The audience laughed because of her suggestive implications.)

On how she got away with selling Vodka in public: “When I was 15, one particular man asked me if I wanted to make some money. He said, ‘All you have to do is sell slush outside of Fenway.’ I thought, ‘Now that sounds easy.’ They’d drive me to Fenway, set me up on the street with this nice cart and nice umbrella. And inside the cart, there were two flavors: lemon and watermelon. And then beside the two flavors was slush inside one of those big ketchup bottles. But there wasn’t ketchup in it, Dave. There was Vodka.”

On how she sold her product: “I used to stand around saying, ‘I got the special slush over here. Special slush!’ I’d [usually] give them one pump but if they gave me a few extra bucks, I’d give them two pumps.”

On not feeling guilty about selling alcohol: “Listen, I just gave them what they want. I had the longest line. There must have been 12 slush carts on the street. No one else had a line. I was the only one!”

On the possibility of being arrested:
“I could have been in prison but all of the cops that were standing around didn’t seem to mind. They clearly knew what was going on. I was giving them slush too! You know those Boston police. Have you seen The Departed?”
