Kate Bosworth - “Vogue” February 2008

Kate Bosworth shows off her superstar style in the February 2008 cover of Vogue. Interview snippets as always:

On her ex Orlando Bloom: “Orlando and I met when we were kids. Blue Crush hadn’t come out. Lord of the Rings hadn’t come out. … He was the first big heartbreak. … First love: You feel like it’s the be-all and end-all. … To put as little pressure on the relationship you’re in is very important. I regret that it was too intense for both of us.”

On still remaining friends with ex-boyfriends:
“The fact that I’m very close with my past relationships is something I pride myself on. My mom is still close to her first husband. It’s nice to be able to enjoy someone in a different form.”

On losing 12 pounds from stress: “Whenever anything happens that’s very painful or stressful, we all lose weight — my mother, my aunt, my grandmother. … I honestly thought something was wrong with me. … I was concerned for my health and my fans, the public. I would have said, don’t look at this as the standard of some kind of beauty and health. [It was] a very dark time in my life.”

On meeting model/musician boyfriend James Rousseau at a Marc Jacobs after-party: “I looked like a mess. I always ask him why he didn’t turn and walk away. He had no idea who I was. He said, ‘You’re an actress? You’re not Kate Hudson, are you?’ For a little while there he called me ‘Miss Hudson’ as a joke. [Afterward] we left and sang Dylan songs at Maggie’s Pub. Sitting on a bar stool, having a beer. He saw the potential. He wanted to fix me in a little way. And to be quite honest, he did. He was such a ray of light in my life.”

Kate, 25, has a new film coming out on called 21 (Jim Sturgess, Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne). It’s about a blackjack team made up of six MIT students, who train to become experts in card counting and subsequently take Vegas casinos for millions in winnings. Release date: March 28th.

Ashton Kutcher: I Have a “Game Show in My Head”

Ashton Kutcher is extending his brand of reality TV to CBS.

His production company, Katalyst, will be producing Game Show in My Head, which will have contestants fitted with an earpiece and then sent out into the real world. They will receive instructions via the earpiece, telling them to do unusual or shocking things in public. If contestants complete their tasks, they win money. If the contestants wimp out, their winnings are lost. Here’s the show’s latest casting call:

“Wanted: Everyday people who are ready for a little fun in extraordinary situations.

“Do you consider yourself a daredevil, a risk taker, a great salesman? Can you talk an Eskimo into buying a block of ice? Sell a ketchup popsicle to a man in white gloves? Then you’re ready to star in the new CBS prime time TV pilot.”

Ashton, 29, executive produced Punk’d, the MTV reality show that uses hidden cameras to play pranks on celebrities (the show is going into syndication this fall). He also helped created The CW’s “ultimate social experiment” Beauty and the Geek.

Shia LaBeouf is a Mutt

Shia LaBeouf plays Indiana Jones’ sidekick named Mutt, according to Wikipedia. Producer Frank Marshall said Shia’s character is a motorcycle-riding greaser. Though it has been rumored Mutt is Indiana’s son, Spielberg laughed off the idea that “it’s a father-son story. The new Indy movie is about a great quest, an amazing quest—and that’s all I’m gonna say.”

Teresa Palmer & Adam Brody Heating Up

Things are heating up between Justice League of America stars Adam Brody and Teresa Palmer.

According to Australia’s The Warrnambool Standard, Brody, 28, and Palmer, 21, were spotted dining at Ramella’s Cafe Restaurant on Bank Street.

“I didn’t [recognize] him straight away but after I served him I recognized him,” said the waitress serving the former O.C. star and his Aussie girlfriend. “I did get to talk to him, which was a bit intimidating. We were just talking about the food. He ordered the crispy barramundi.”

The waitress even got Adam to sign her order pad: “I think it’s pretty cool. I rang all my friends afterwards and they were screaming. It was a bit strange. A few people didn’t believe me but I have the proof. A few young people were getting autographs from him. He was really friendly and really nice.”

This past weekend, Adam and Teresa were spotted holding hands and cuddling over dinner.

And these are not just rumors. Defamer had a sighting of the couple at King’s Road Cafe back in early December. Adam was with a “super hot blond Australian”.

SJP Is Not Over the Whole Unsexy Thing

* On being called unsexy: “My instinct was that it felt personal. It was really about 'We don't like her.' Who were the judges and critics? I would like to ask them, 'What exactly is it that you personally find not sexy about me? Is it my figure? Is it my brain that bothers you?' My impression is what they find sexy doesn’t make them very interesting, or unusual or special. That makes them common."

* On her choice of career: "I've always been an actor. That's my job — I can be anything you want me to be."

* On food:"Anything having to do with food is pleasurable for me. Any conversation about food, review of food, story of food, picture of food, thought of food . . . "

Love that SJP can take her criticism in stride even though it clearly hurt her feelings (so normal of her). We also had no idea how much of a foodie she is — now if only we could figure out how she manages to stay passionate about eating while keeping her fabulous body intact.

A Strike In Search Of A Hollywood Ending
While Writers And Producers Are At Impasse, Celebrity Glitz Replaced With Pink Slips

Striking film and television writers picket outside CBS Radford Studios Jan. 7, 2008, in the Studio City section of Los Angeles. The impasse between writers and producers has already led to the cancellation of the gala Golden Globes broadcast, and other awards shows face a similar fate. (AP Photo/Ric Francis)

This was supposed to be the day the stars shined over Hollywood - the kick-off of the glitzy, glorious awards season with the Golden Globes.

But this year, the stars are off the red carpet and walking the line - the picket line - with striking members of the Writers Guild.

So with actors unwilling to cross the line, tonight's big Golden Globes gala has been cancelled, replaced by a news conference. And other awards shows, including next month's Oscars, are in jeopardy, too.

Not surprisingly, the main issue is money. The writers of TV shows, films, and late night monologues, want a guaranteed piece of the future, their slice of the Internet world and beyond.

"It's new media. It's the future," said Patric Verrone, the president of the Writers Guild of America West.

"As we move into the internet age," Verrone told CBS News' Jerry Bowen, "we move into new distribution models. The conglomerates seem very reluctant to include writers and actors and directors in their fair share."

The movie studios and television networks agree that determining what that "fair share" is, is the key to a settlement.

Jim Kennedy is spokesman for the AMPTP, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, the group bargaining with the Writers Guild.

"While the Internet's been around for ten years," said Kennedy, "we're all still exploring this market. It's not an automatic gold mine. There's great potential there, but unless we work together in partnership to find it, find our way together, we can't truly exploit it."

The potential of these new media lies in viewers paying to watch movies and TV shows on their computers or their iPhones, or advertisers paying to run commercials along with the programs.

The tried and true formula is that writers, like actors and directors, are paid residuals. Each time the TV show or movie they've written is re-run on cable, or sold on DVD, they receive a fee. The exception is the Internet.

The networks and studios say they'll talk about how to divide this new media pie, but they walked away from the table over other issues raised by the writers.

It's like an Olympics boycott where the athletes get hurt and the audiences get hurt but it doesn't reach a resolution to the underlying conflict.
Jim Kennedy, producers' spokesman

"What's really caused the impasse," said Kennedy, "are some additional demands that the Writers Guild have made. They'd like to cover our reality programming or animated programming. And they'd like the power to go out on sympathy strikes if other unions are having a dispute."

"Well, those are issues that are on the table at the moment," said Shawn Ryan. Ryan is the producer of such popular shows as "The Shield" and "The Unit," and he's on the Writers Guild negotiating team. He says those issues aren't the real reason the producers left the bargaining table. "The companies have other issues unrelated to the Internet that are on the table that maybe we don't agree with.

"What they are, are the excuses that the companies have given to strategically pull themselves out of the negotiating room," Ryan said. "They've not talked with us the last month and they're using the excuse of 'Oh, there's a few issues that we just don't agree with.'"

The writers' contract was the first to expire. Directors' and actors' contracts are up this spring and some of the same issues - especially carving up the new media revenues - are sure to come up. Everybody wants a bigger share of the pie.

The fight escalated with the writers' plan to picket the Golden Globes, and if need be, the Oscars. Cancelling the Globes could cost the local economy $70 million, the Oscars as much as $130 million.

"It's like an Olympics boycott where the athletes get hurt and the audiences get hurt but it doesn't reach a resolution to the underlying conflict," said Kennedy

"It doesn't seem like the right time in this town to hold a glib gala with fancy dresses and big diamond necklaces and celebrate the industry when you've got tens of thousands of crew members out of work," argued Ryan. "And it's my hope that if we don't have a deal by Oscar time we'll do the same thing to the Oscars."

The strike is having a huge economic impact. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been lost and thousands of studio workers have been laid off. They rallied, in vain, to get the talks back on track.

"There's a lot of us here who don't have work anymore because the writers and producers can't get it together to figure something out," said one former studio employee.

"It's too scary to think about," said another, "I don't know. I don't know. We could lose our house. It'll be really tough."

It's a ripple effect. Pam Elyea rents props to TV shows. She's laid off a third of her staff.

"This time of year I should be working on 'Cold Case,'" Elyea said. "I should be doing 'Ghost Whisperer,' 'The Office,' 'My Name Is Earl.' I mean, all those shows come in every week and they rent from us. So not only do I not have those shows, but each of those crews aren't working. Each show I mentioned, that's 110 people out of work."

When the strike began in early November, work stopped on all new scripts. That was less a problem for the movie studios (which stockpiled future projects) than the TV networks (which felt the pain immediately).

Late-night shows went into re-runs, prime time dramas and comedies ran out of fresh material. Long-running shows became instant cliff-hangers, waiting for scripted endings.

"I think both sides are really losing right now," said Brian Lowry, a critic for Variety. He says the ghost of 1988 (the last time writers went on strike, when networks filled the void with novel programming) is looming.

"A very young Fox network launched two shows that are still running today," Lowry said, "which is 'America's Most Wanted' and 'Cops.' And both of those shows were launched because they were unscripted. One issue that the writers have to be concerned about, the longer the writers are out, the more time the networks will have to experiment with reality shows and unscripted shows."

On the network side, there is the potential for losing even more viewers. That was accelerated by the writer's strike of 20 years ago. This time around there are even more options to go to, from cable to the home computer.

"The question is," said Lowry, "as the people find other options, how many of them will really get to like those options and won't come running back when the networks come back and ring the dinner bell again?"

As the impasse continues there are chinks on both sides. Some writers are grumbling over the get-tough strategy of the Guild. A few smaller producers, like Tom Cruise's United Artists, the Weinstein Company, and David Letterman's Worldwide Pants, have struck side deals with the Guild to get writers back on the job.

A-list actors like Tom Hanks and George Clooney are encouraging an end to the dispute.

The next possible development may come with the directors, who started negotiating their new contract with the producers just yesterday. If they reach a deal, it could set a pattern for the writers. Or not.

"They can make a contract with the Directors Guild that really doesn't have much bearing on us," insisted Verrone. "They need to have a contract with us in order to end the strike."

Without that, the winter of walking the line and re-running old shows promises to drag on, in search of a Hollywood ending.

John Mayer to Cowboys Fans: Don't Hate on Jess

John Mayer is coming to ex Jessica Simpson's defense after Dallas Cowboys fans have accused her of jinxing beau Tony Romo.

When Simpson attended the Cowboys' December face-off against the Philadelphia Eagles, Romo played the worst games of his career. Then, Romo was accused of having of mixed-up priorities for joining Simpson on vacation in Mexico rather than practicing the weekend before playoffs. (The Cowboys lost to the New York Giants.)

But on his blog, Mayer insists Simpson has nothing to do with the team's bad luck:

"This isn't a sports blog, and it isn't a publicity stunt. (but have at me if it feels right.)

"This is about doing what I think is right as a person, in this case speaking my mind.

"I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas. I don't really follow sports, but I have played some of my biggest and best concerts in your state, and having witnessed how dynamic the spirit there is, I'm betting emotions are running high right about now.

"All witty barbs, blogs, and fashion policing aside, that girl loves Texas more than you know. It's one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don't try and take that away from her. (You probably wouldn't be able to, but it's less work for all involved.)

"I just thought it would mean something coming from the guy who has the absolute least to gain from this. And if I'm out of line in having written it, too bad. I can spare a Wednesday's worth of bad press if it means sticking up for a good soul."

Two Weeks After "Wedding," Eddie Murphy, Tracey Edmonds Split

If the honeymoon wasn't already over, it sure is now. Just like the marriage.

Two weeks after Eddie Murphy exchanged vows with Tracey Edmonds in a private—and, as it happens, not legally binding—ceremony in Bora Bora, the couple has separated.

They made their announcement in a joint statement Wednesday, 15 days after their seaside Jan. 1 nuptials.

“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," the former flames said.

"While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”

Shortly after the New Year's celebration on the French Polynesian island, reps for the couple acknowledged that the ceremony, having taken place outside the country, was not legally binding, but that the couple would be making it official upon their return to the States.

"As is typical when couples get married in foreign countries, a legal ceremony will take place when they return to the U.S.," Murphy's publicist said at the time. "The wedding that took place in Bora Bora was a ceremony to bind Eddie and Tracey spiritually in the presence of family and friends."

The lack of a legally recognized union spares the ex-duo from the formalities of a lengthy divorce or annulment.

The breakup followed a less than fairy-tale start, with the first days of the newlyweds' honeymoon marred by screaming matches and arguments that lasted the entire week, according to People, which first reported the split.

The 46-year-old actor and 40-year-old producer had been dating since fall 2006 (following the demise of Murphy's separation from then pregnant Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, who gave birth to Murphy's daughter last April) and became engaged last July.

The ex-couple's previous unions both endured a tad longer than two weeks.

Edmonds, whose movie-producing credits include Who's Your Caddy? and Good Luck Chuck, was previously married to music mogul Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. The couple, whose divorce was finalized last June, was together for 13 years and has two children together.

Murphy's first marriage, to Nicole Mitchell, ended in April 2006 after 13 years and five children.

Chris Daughtry: “American Idol” Is “in a State of Decline”

On the eve of the premiere of the seventh season of American Idol, one of the show’s most famous losers, Chris Daughtry, says that the Idol franchise is starting to lose its luster. “I feel like it’s definitely lacking some credibility at this point,” says Daughtry, who came in fourth place on the 2006 season but went on to sell 3.6 million copies of his debut record and be named one of Nielsen’s top ten selling artists of 2007. “It’s in a state of decline and if they don’t do something about it, it’s probably not gonna last too much longer. I’m sure that’ll be used against me, but that’s the truth, you know?”

Daughtry has some numbers on his side: last year’s “American Idols Live” tour played to 68 percent capacity crowds, while the 2006 version was 96 percent sold out. Three top Idols — Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee — have recently lost their record contracts due to poor sales. Ratings also went down one percent last year, marking the first decline in the show’s history. Daughtry blames the show’s woes partially on its emphasis on untalented singers. “People get tired of seeing people that suck,” he says. “It’s funny at first, but come on. They spend three weeks on people that can’t sing, and that’s what they’re banking it on. [They should] find some people that you can really invest in.”

Idol plans on making some minor adjustments this season: contestants will be able to play an instrument in the early rounds and celebrity mentors will be de-emphasized to create more time to tell the contestants back stories. Still, Daughtry, who is currently recording his band’s second album, worries the show faces a more fundamental problem: “After going for so long, who else is out there that still wants to get on the show?” That question, and a host of others, will be answered when the show’s seventh season premieres tomorrow night amid the ongoing Writers Guild strike — it’s a TV climate that experts predict will give Idol a ratings bump.

Shoving His Tail Between His Legs

That was quick!

Chris Daughtry is doing damage control over his harsh criticism of American Idol.

The singer just posted the following on his official blog:

" I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm…..Just being honest!
Sorry

It's so sad that when you're asked something and you answer honestly….you're made out to be the bad guy. Yes, I'm referring to the Rolling Stone post. The funny thing is, if you heard the whole conversation you would've heard all the good things I said about the show as well. Like for instance: How it's an amazing platform to launch a career….."If you take it seriously!!!!" Let's not forget I was a struggling artist for 11 years that never got any respect or notoriety so know that I'm eternally grateful for the opportunity that Idol gave me. And that's where my comments came from. It all started when the interviewer (who was great by the way) asked me where the "Idol stigma everyone talks about" comes from. Ya know….the reason people never take anyone from the show serious in the real world and why people say "oh they came from AI, they're not real artists." So, I answered that I don't feel that enough "artists" try out for the show because of how many people they focus on that are obviously there for comedic and entertainment value. And when you focus enough on people that aren't serious about it then it's hard for the audience to take you as an artist serious. And it's also hard as a potential contestant to think it's a good way to get seen because you're afraid of being made a joke of. I also said I think it's AWESOME that they are letting the contestants play their own instruments and that I feel that will show something in the contestants that people (the audience) never get to see….but that wasn't printed. My long winded point is this….I was never trying to "DISS" the show or "BITE THE HAND THAT FED ME" so to speak. I was simply giving my input on what I think would spice the show up a bit.
Sorry for being honest. God bless!-Chris"

Demi Moore is featured on three (count them, three) separate covers of V Magazine for their Spring 2008 issue.

The 45-year-old actress is returning to the big screen this spring to star alongside Michael Caine in the jewelry heist caper Flawless. Demi talks personal histories, false rumors, the raw food diet that never was, and her relationships with ex-husband Bruce Willis and current husband Ashton Kutcher. Interview snippets below:

On what a day in the life of Demi is like: “My normal day is, I get up with the kids, take them to school, a few days a week I might do Pilates, reading, meetings, and then we always do family dinner at 6:30.”

On gaining respect for making her family situation work: “It’s far more exhausting to be angry and blaming. You can dig deep within yourself and really have a desire for someone else’s happiness, which I feel I do have for Bruce and he has for me. He has a joy and appreciation for what Ashton and I share, and for how Ashton is with the girls.”

On transitioning family life from Bruce Willis to Ashton Kutcher: “It wasn’t a piece of cake. It wasn’t automatic or easy. It took diligence and effort and even enduring awkwardness, and a lot of general giving on my part and Bruce’s part. And really, tremendously, on Ashton’s part. Coming into my life, Ashton just wasn’t meeting somebody that had baggage. You know, I had trunks!”

On dealing with paparazzi after moving back to Los Angeles: “When I first moved back to L.A., I had a very difficult time and found that I didn’t want to leave the house so much. And then I started to feel, well, I don’t want to be isolated and worried that if they’re getting a photograph then I’m not going to go and do something. It’s difficult when they hang out at the bottom of your street waiting for you to drive by.”

On having sympathy for Britney: “No one has seen it worse than Britney Spears. How can anyone see that and think that’s an OK way to expect anybody to live, no matter where they’re at in their life?”

Amy Winehouse visits independent hospital ‘The London Clinic’ on Harley Street in England on Wednesday, accompanied by her taxi driver father Mitchell. The 24-year-old “Rehab” singer was later seen smoking on a cancer stick after having lunch in Central London.

It’s been reported that Wino is scheduled to perform at the Grammys but can’t get a visa to enter the U.S. because of her drug problems.

In other music news, super producer Mark Ronson is teaming up with Amy again to record a festive album of Christmas and Hanukkah songs.

“She’s writing songs, and we talked about getting a studio,” Ronson tells Rolling Stone. “I have to finish a few other things first, but I imagine we’ll go into the studio this year.”

Explained Ronson, “We’re talking about making a holiday record, with Christmas songs on one side and Hanukkah songs on the other. She’s got songs called, like, ‘Kosher Kisses’ and ‘Alone Under the Mistletoe.’ She was kind of f—— around, but I was like, ‘You have all these amazing records to play for Christmas, like Motown and Carla Thomas and the Charlie Brown Christmas, and unfortunately, us Jews have nothing that cool to listen to. So we should do something.”

Wino-Ronson holiday album coming at you late 2008!

Her bump has stated to show

Jessica Alba was spotted out and about in LA yesterday at where else but the gym. She was sporting a tank top with an eco-friendly message, but we're more interested in the bump protruding from her belly. After last weekend's celebrity baby boom, we're looking forward to seeing Jessica as a super fit mama and it looks like she's already getting into the spirit with a cute game of peek-a-boo with the paparazzi — or not.

Musician's Lil' Girl Found -- Mom Now at Lynwood

The three-year-old daughter of electronic musician Brian Transeau -- who performs under the name BT -- was found last night after a month-long search.

A team of U.S. Marshals, two private investigation teams and the Santa Monica P.D. had been searching for Kaia since December, finally locating her last night. Her mother, Ashley Duffy, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Lynwood Jail (Paris' old stomping grounds) without bail.

According to authorities, Duffy absconded with Kaia from Transeau's Maryland hotel room -- Duffy was there for a visit but instead took the kid. A warrant for Duffy's arrest was issued two weeks ago for "out-of-state child abduction from the lawful custodian" as well as "out-of-state child detention from the lawful custodian."

Transeau has scored a bunch of Hollywood hits, including "Monster" and "The Fast and the Furious."

Paula's Super Show -- Straight Up Catastrophe?

Hyper-sentimental Paula Abdul is prepping for her big comeback gig at the Super Bowl -- but it looks like the whole thing could be a golden ticket to her biggest and most public meltdown yet!

A source close to Paula and familiar with preparations tells TMZ that it's going to be "a massive disaster" -- exact words -- and that the whole thing is a "bad, bad idea." The "AI" judgewreck has already lost her voice in rehearsals for the show, and we're told she isn't going to sing live in Arizona (duh). Her vocals, therefore, will be "enhanced." Pitchy keen!

Paula will "perform" her new single -- which is being produced by fellow "Idol" judge Randy Jackson, but we hear that people around her are wondering why she doesn't just stick to her old stuff, like "Straight Up" or "Cold Hearted Snake."

no....
has nothing to do with the actors
sebenarnya all script writers mogok
union dorang mogok sebab studio ngan producer bayor ciput...
sedangkan profit juta2
so dorang picket

and as for the actors
dorang semua under the same union especially the
Writers Guild of America (WGA)
so memanglah bila dah bawah kesatuan ni
actors tak leh cross picket line

yang psai drama tu
heroes, grey's anatomy what not
definitely shooting semua terbantut
mana ada script ma
that's why banyak citer half season
ending tergantong
sebab script dah habis
so, since studio semua, produces still tak dapat nego good price ngan all these writers
tu yang tak der citer nak wat
kat us skang ni dah habis citer nak tayang
so terpaksa tayang rerun from cable tv

alkisah.....

The X-Files Movie — FIRST PICTURE

By Scott Bowles, USA TODAY
LOS ANGELES — The sequel is out there.

The conspiracy theories will not be.

Ten years after the first film and six years after the show went off the air, The X-Files returns to theaters with Fox Mulder, Dana Scully — and a lot riding on the bet that fans want more of the FBI's paranormal-investigating agents.

The film, which remains without a formal title, will dump the long-running "mythology" plotline — that aliens live among us and are part of a colonizing effort — that made it one of the most popular television shows in the late 1990s but ultimately drove away some viewers who found it too complex and ambiguous.

"We spent a lot of time on (the mythology) and wrapped up a lot of threads" when the show went off the air in 2002, says Chris Carter, creator of the series and director of the new movie. "We want a stand-alone movie, not a mythology conspiracy one."

That will come as welcome news to fans of the show's stand-alone episodes, which included cults, ghosts, psychics and ancient curses.

Carter refuses to divulge any plot points of the movie, but says he wanted to make the film immediately after the show ended. A contractual dispute with 20th Century Fox kept it on the shelf until the case was settled out of court.

He says the delay may turn out to be a blessing.

"There's a whole audience I want to introduce X-Files to," Carter says. "There were kids who couldn't watch it on TV because it was too scary. Now they're in college. I wanted a movie that everyone could go to."

Whether they will could be a test of the show's legacy, says Blair Butler of the G4TV network, which caters to video-game enthusiasts and science-fiction fans.

"At its strongest, it had really creepy stand-alone episodes," she says. "They turned it into a great franchise. But a lot of years have passed. We'll see if it's fallen off the radar."

She says the film could benefit from an ironic twist: the Writers Guild strike.

"I think it could be a sort comfort food for the people who loved how original the show was and aren't seeing original TV now," she says.

But Carter believes they'll be drawn by something else: the show's stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.

"For me, The X-Files has always been a romance," he says. "They had an intellectual romance that's very rare and restrained compared to so many relationships on TV. I think that's what appealed most to the fans. And they're back."

Truly Devastating News

Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage, The Sun is reporting.

The British paper were also the first to report the surprising news of the 22 year old's pregnancy.

This would have been the first child for Allen and her boyfriend of four months, Chemical Brother Ed Simons.

"They are in a state of shock," a source tells The Sun. "The bad news has been really difficult for them to take and they are absolutely heartbroken. Lily’s entire outlook on life changed after she found out she was pregnant. She was looking forward to being a mum and starting a family with Ed. She had turned her back on her party girl image and had turned over a new leaf. They are surrounded by friends and family are offering support. It is a really difficult time for them."

Lily's publicist has confirmed the sad news.

"We can confirm that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage," says Allen's rep. "She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time."

This is just truly awful.

Our thoughts are with Lily during this trying time.

Sending her positive vibes!

EXCLUSIVE: The AP Has Written Britney Spears' Obituary

The Associated Press began preparing Britney Spears’ obituary within the past month, Us has learned.

"We are not wishing it, but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a long time," AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington tells Us.

"I think one would agree that Britney seems at risk right now," Washington adds. "Of course, we would never wish any type of misfortune on anybody and hope that we would never have to use it until 50 years from now…but if something were to happen, we would have to be prepared."

Washington also says the AP has a "pretty extensive obituary operation," and that staffers are "constantly adding people."

Following a bizarre night out Wednesday, Spears’ pal Sam Lutfi phoned into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, claiming, “everything’s fine.”

Britney's Bizarre Comments from the Shower

BUTTONED UP ALL NIGHT
A day after shopping for pregnancy tests with her paparazzo beau
Adnan Ghalib, Britney – with her manager Sam Lufi (not pictured)
– shows off an eclectic ensemble and mile-high hair Thursday during
n early morning trip to Kitson clothing store in Los Angeles.

During a strange radio interview with one of Britney Spears's friends on Thursday, the pop singer's voice suddenly came on the line, speaking from the shower.

"Get out, I'm naked, get out!" Spears is heard telling pal Sam Lutfi as he carries the phone toward her during an interview from her house with KIIS-FM's Ryan Seacrest.

When Lutfi asks why she's taking a shower, Spears replies: "I stink, 'cause I'm a human being. Shut the door, I'm nasty!"

The latest bizarre episode came as Lutfi was knocking down recent rumors about the pop star, including reports she's trying have a baby. Word of that started when she was seen shopping for a home pregnancy test with her paparazzo pal Adnan Ghalib.

"I don't know if they even bought one," Lutfi said. "I think they were just [expletive] around."

Lutfi said she doesn't want to get pregnant. "No, no, no, no, no, no," he said. "No, not at all." Asked if she plans to marry Ghalib, Lutfi said: "No, that's not true."

Other Voices on Phone
A recent addition to the Britney entourage, a friend of Lutfi's named Chad Hardcastle, also got on the phone to explain the impetus for their after-hours shopping trip to the Kitson boutique in West Hollywood early Thursday morning.

"Boredom," said Hardcastle.

Asked where Hardcastle fit into Spears's world, he said, "I'm still trying to figure it out myself, man. I don't really know."

Britney's Multiple Personality Disorder

Sources are now painting a very disturbing picture of Britney Spears, or whoever she happens to be at any given moment.

We're told the whole British accent thing -- well, it's more than an accent. Britney has multiple personalities, including, as people in her life call it, "the British girl." We're told when Spears loses the British personality, she has absolutely no idea what she did during the time she assumed that personality.

Sources say Brit has a number of other identities, where she becomes "the weepy girl, the diva, the incoherent girl," and on and on.

Sources say Britney had become the British girl the day she didn't show for her deposition and has no recollection of it.

Martha's Dishes Made My Kids Sick!

A spokesperson for MSLO told TMZ "We take consumer product safety very seriously. We do not comment on pending litigation."

Blake Dishes on Dating Gossip

In lieu of getting our Gossip Girl fix on TV this week, we have to catch up on the real life rumors the co-stars are facing. Blake Lively donned her designer Chanel gown last night to the Nuit de Diamants gala. It's not our favorite dress but we'd love to recreate her uptown makeup look. At the event Blake partied alongside alleged boyfriend Penn Badgley but she is avoiding the romance rumors, saying, "Everybody always tries to dig into your personal life or create things that aren't there... it's silly." That doesn't sound like an outright denial and we heard they were close-talking, so we're going to hope that Serena and Dan are enjoying a real-life romance — just like Summer and Seth! Besides, a picture tells a thousand words - so you be the judge.
