OK! Interview: Wilmer Valderramma

At a charity cocktail party hosted by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, OK! spoke with foundation ambassador Wilmer Valderramma who holds the charity close to his heart. He also discussed his upcoming films and that this Valentine's Day he may be playing third wheel to Demi and Ashton. That is, if Ashton remembers to get him a birthday present!

How'd you get involved with the organization?
I feel blessed to be a part of something so classy and so fantastic. I was always looking for different charities to be a part of. I read the brochure and I really loved what they're about which is promoting life after tragedy, which is so uplifting. It shows people there's a second chance at life.

You have a bunch of movies coming out so you're busy!
Later this summer you'll hear about Columbus Day and Days of Wrath. Val Kilmer and I did it and Kevin Spacey produced it.

What's it like working with Val?
It's great. Everyone has this eccentric definition of who he is but it's incredible to see how committed he was. Other than that, Val was great and to work along side Batman. It's pretty neat!

In Days of Wrath I played my first bad guy — yes, I shaved my head naturally! It's very dramatic stuff and ever since I did Fast Food Nation I've been involved in drama.

So, Valentine's Day is coming up... are you dating anybody?
No, I'm not dating anybody! Another Valentine's Day all by myself! Me and the boys eating chocolate ice cream. It's all about the boys that night!

What are you getting Ashton for his birthday?
I don't know! My birthday was last Wednesday and we're gonna meet up next week. But I don't know, I'm still waiting for my birthday present!

Maybe for Valentine's Day? Oh wait, he's married to Demi!
Yeah, yeah third wheel! Always the third wheel!

Speaking of love, Lindsay seems to be doing well.
I honestly haven't really been following a lot of what's happening. I support Lindsay and I still love her very much. I talk to her every once in a while. She's a talented girl.

Sienna Miller Denied Entry to the USA

Actress Sienna Miller has been laying low lately, and staying out of the public eye. But OK! has learned that it's not for a lack of trying!

The Spanish denim Company, Pepe Jeans, filed a lawsuit on Thursday, claiming a private jet service failed to deliver Sienna from London to New York last October.

According to Reuters, Pepe Jeans hired Jet Set Private Air to fly Sienna and her associates to the U.S. for a photo shoot in New York City.

After a six-hour flight delay, the group decided to leave and get some dinner. When they returned, the sexy brit and her entourage were told they didn't have the necessary paperwork to hop across the pond, and the scheduled flight never took off.

Sienna — who is the "face" of Pepe Jeans — ended up missing the photo shoot and a "replacement model" was hired instead.

In its lawsuit, Pepe Jeans says it paid Jet Air $160,000 to make sure Sienna made it to her photo shoot and called several times to ensure that the plane took off on time.

Jet Set had promised to reimburse Pepe Jeans, but never did.

Room Where Anna Nicole Smith Died Gone
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Guts Room, Renumbers Rooms

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Fans of Anna Nicole Smith won't be able to find the room where she died one year ago at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The room at the Hollywood hotel and casino where Smith was found unconscious has been gutted and the rooms renumbered on that floor an effort to discourage fans from making the room into a shrine.

The former Playboy centerfold later died the same day at a hospital. Her sudden death started a tabloid frenzy in a Broward County courtroom over her body and the paternity and custody of her infant daughter.

The Broward County Medical Examiner said Smith's death was caused by an accidental overdose, and after an extensive investigation there was no reason to believe the Playboy Playmate was the victim of foul play.

The autopsy report showed that Smith, 39, had about nine prescription medications present in her body.

The medical examiner also pointed out that Smith had "abscesses of buttocks and viral enteritis (intestinal infection) and possibly the flu." These factors also contributed to Smith's death, according to the report.

Smith arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on Feb. 5 and planned to leave four days later aboard a new yacht to the Bahamas that she and her companion Howard K. Stern were arranging to buy. She became unconscious in her three-room suite on Feb. 8 and later died, according to the reports.

California officials and the Seminole Police Department continue to investigate the numerous prescriptions written for Smith by her doctors.

NBC Reporter Suspended for Comments on Chelsea Clinton

On Thursday, during a segment on MSNBC's Tucker about Hillary Clinton's use of surrogates in her presidential campaign, reporter David Shuster asked, "Doesn't it seem like Chelsea's sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?"

Shuster apologized for the remark, which was based on the fact that Chelsea Clinton, 27, was making calls to superdelegrates to shore up support for her mother.

The Clinton campaign then complained about the "degrading language" and Shuster was suspended indefinitely.

Carrie Underwood: I'm Open to Acting

ollowing her big win at the Grammys this weekend, Carrie Underwood says her next big project could be on the big screen.

The American Idol champ, 24, has already been offered some roles.

"I’m not going to say what I turned down," she told reporters at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party Saturday in Beverly Hills. "We have had some offers for different things, but nothing has really felt right."

Her dream movie: A light-hearted comedy.

"I know I am not going to be the lead roles in some drama," she said, "but if a small fun part comes open, than yes."

For now, Underwood is busy on the road with Keith Urban.

"We have actually done a few shows, and it is going really great," she said. "The fans have been awesome. It’s been a lot of fun."

Will Urban's pregnant wife Nicole Kidman be joining them?

"I’ve actually met her quite a while ago — I don’t know how much I will see her," Underwood said. "Touring is hard life when you are on the road...but maybe!"

Ryan Phillippe: I Had Marriage Trouble "Long Before" Abbie Cornish

Ryan Phillippe doesn't want Abbie Cornish labeled "the other woman."

"I had difficulties in my relationship, and in my marriage, long before I ever met her," he tells W magazine of the Australian actress reported to have been a factor in his 2006 split from wife Reese Witherspoon.

"She and I are close friends, and as far as if there is any future, that is not where we are at now," the 33-year-old says of Cornish, his costar in the forthcoming Stop-Loss.

"That is what other people like to say or like to assume," he added. "As far as I'm concerned, it's a friendship, and we are getting to know each other in a really difficult situation."

"I've had a lot of upheaval in my personal life," he says in the March issue of the magazine.

Phillippe describes his divorce from Witherspoon – finalized in October after seven years of marriage – as "the darkest, saddest place I had ever been."

The actor was especially concerned about their two children, Ava, 9, and Deacon, 4. "I wanted to take time to make sure that my kids were okay and to build a new life that was going to be suitable to being a single parent," he says.

"It was a struggle," he says. "There were a good four or five months of not being able to get out of bed. It was the worst time in my life."

"You get through it," he added. "It’s a process that’s not easy, but I get less and less sad about it every day."

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears Out With Casey Aldridge in Kentwood

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears made a rare appearance in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.

Hiding her bump in a baggy hooded-sweatshirt, the Zoey 101 star, took her black and white puppy to the veterinarian Friday.

(The 16-year-old wore a similar oversized sweatshirt when she was last photographed leaving a GED class with her mom Lynne January 4.)

On Saturday and Sunday, Spears went out with her beau, Casey Aldridge, the father of her baby.

Hand-in-hand, they went to a convenience store Saturday. Spears sported a white Heineken beer T-shirt that showed the faintest hint of her growing stomach.

The next day, Spears and Aldridge ran errands, stopping to kiss every now and then.

Her dad is currently in Beverly Hills looking after older sis Britney.

Michelle Williams Heads Back to Work

After attending a memorial for Heath Ledger in Australia on Saturday, Michelle Williams was seen in New York City on Monday.

She was in town to shoot additional scenes for her upcoming movie Mammoth.

On Saturday, Ledger, Williams' ex and the father of 2-year-old Matilda, was memorialized in his hometown of Perth, Australia. A service attended by hundreds and private funeral was held for 10 of his close friends and family.

After the service, guests ran into the nearby ocean. "After a while Michelle Williams came down and went swimming in her dress. Security guards were waiting for her with a towel when she emerged," a witness told Usmagazine.com.

"Everyone in the water started slapping the water and shouting, 'Heath,' in kind of mass relief that the stress of the occasion was behind them," the witness added.

Ledger, 28, was found dead on January 22 in his NYC apartment. He died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, the New York City medical examiner's office reported last week.

Natalie Cole Slams Grammys for Honoring Amy Winehouse

Not everyone is pleased Amy Winehouse took home five Grammys Sunday.

"I'm going on record as an artist who is able to critique [Amy Winehouse]," Natalie Cole (a recovering drug addict herself) told reporters at a post-Grammys bash Sunday. "I think she has a great talent, but I don't agree with the Grammys giving her those nods. I think it sends the wrong message, that even in the midst of her stupor of drugs she can get nominated for all these awards.

"It's a slap in the face to musicians and artists who work very hard that they turn around and give it to someone who really obviously doesn't have a grasp of what she has. I've been in this business over 25 years and I sacrificed five years of my own life on drugs and almost lost my life because of it.

"So I take great offence to almost see someone getting glory out of being in the position that they're in — she needs to get her life together and embrace her craft, she will lose it if she doesn't get it together."

Sam Lutfi Reportedly Demanded Money from Britney Spears

Sam Lutfi "made various demands" of Britney Spears, "including demands for money," court documents in the singer's conservatorship case claim.

The revelation was part of a declaration submitted by attorney Jeryll Cohen, who is representing Jamie Spears, Britney's father and co-conservator.

Cohen said that Spears' business manager, Howard Grossman, told her of the "numerous emails" from Lutfi with the demands.

Cohen is seeking the dismissal of Grossman by Spears' conservators – Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet – because, in part, he will not turn over the emails despite a court order

Cohen's filing claims that despite a court order stating that Spears lacked capacity to retain an attorney, Grossman arranged for a meeting between Spears and Adam Streisand, an attorney who claimed to represented the singer.

Also, the declaration says that Grossman authorized one of Spears' Mercedes to be delivered to her at the Beverly Hills Hotel despite a court order to only release her cars to representatives of Jamie or Wallet.

With Jamie in charge, Lutfi was banned from contacting Spears.

Jamie and Wallet were named co-conservators of the singer's legal, medical, and financial decisions on February 1.

The court's decision to put them in charge was the worst-case scenario for Spears, sources told Us, as she has never been close to her father (who battled alcohol abuse during her childhood and was verbally abusive).

Spears was released from the UCLA Medical Center on February 6 after a week of treatment. She had been expected to remain hospitalized for another 10 days.

The singer was involuntarily committed to treatment for bipolar disorder on January 31.

Amy Winehouse: 'I'm So Proud and Happy'
The singer celebrates her five Grammy wins surrounded by friends and family

Amy Winehouse couldn't make it to Sunday's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles – but that didn't stop her from stealing the show.

The troubled 24-year-old singer won five awards – including record of the year, song of the year and best new artist – and rocked the crowd with a live-via-satellite rendition of "You Know I'm No Good" and "Rehab."

After her emotional acceptance speech, the Back to Black singer addressed the crowd gathered in London at the Riverside Studios.

"I can't believe I've won five awards," she told the intimate crowd, including her mother Janis, father Mitch and older brother Alex. "It's a shame I couldn't be there to accept the awards but I'm so proud and happy that I had the opportunity to perform for the Grammys in my hometown of London with my family and friends around me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Although the singer received last-minute visa approval to enter the United States, she could not make the trip to Los Angeles in time.

Instead, Winehouse – who checked into a north London rehab facility last month, after she was taped allegedly smoking crack – made Sunday night a family affair.

The Winehouse clan and several of Amy's friends enjoyed a late dinner at London's Riverbank Park Plaza hotel, before heading off to the performance at around 2:30 a.m.

Although the concert location was supposed to be kept secret – and admittance was strictly limited to friends and family – crowds gathered outside the venue chanting "Amy! Amy! Amy!"

Cuba Gooding, Jr. (who was in town for the BAFTA awards) was on hand to introduce her performance which, thanks to the time difference, kicked off at 3:41 a.m. London time.

Winehouse is continuing with rehab and, according to a statement from her U.S. rep, is "following her treatment plan rigorously and making wonderful progress

Passion Screenwriter Sues Mel Gibson

The co-screenwriter of The Passion of the Christ has sued Mel Gibson for $5 million, alleging Gibson conspired against him to deprive him of fair compensation and keep more money for himself.

In the 21-page complaint filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Benedict Fitzgerald accuses Gibson of fraud, breach of contract and unfair business practices.

"Gibson preyed monetarily on Ben, taking advantage of his unbridled enthusiasm for the project and with full cognizance of Ben's fundamental personal and spiritual beliefs," the lawsuit says.

Fitzgerald claims Gibson, who also takes a screenwriting credit on the 2004 film, engaged in a "chronic and conspiratorial pattern of deceit," telling Fitzgerald he'd be working on a small, $4 million to $7 million project that would yield little money for Fitzgerald and none for Gibson.

Although by some accounts the film grossed over $600 million worldwide, Fitzgerald complains he was paid $75,000 and that he had to borrow $200,000 from Gibson for expenses.

George R. Hedges, an attorney for Gibson's production company, Icon, says the lawsuit "is utterly baseless and the charges are utterly baseless."

He says he cannot divulge Fitzgerald's total compensation on the film, but Fitzgerald "was handsomely compensated – a very significant amount of money for any writer on any project."

Reese, 31, was interviewed on Good Morning America earlier this morning to chat up her new film, Penelope. The film is about a girl named Penelope, who ends up with a pig’s nose and ears as the result of a family curse. Reese related herself and her kids to pig-nosed Penelope:

“We all sort of deal with that in our own childhood or raising children. I wouldn’t want my kids to miss out on any of that teasing and bullying. It makes you who you are–when you don’t make the soccer team and you can’t… The thing that drives me crazy today is everyone wins the award. Everyone wins an MVP. No. They’re not! I distinctly recall the two weeks of crying because I didn’t make the volleyball team. It made me interesting.

And what if Reese’s kids don’t make the soccer team one day?

“You know what?” Reese said. “You deal with. Hopefully, it helps kids figure out who they are. But it is tough as a parent. But that’s part of being a parent!”

Penelope opens on Friday, Feb. 29. That’s right, leap year day! It’s the first film to open on leap year day since 1980!

My favorite thing about fashion is creative expression and keeping everything a little unexpected.”

On moving past her role as Summer on The O.C.:
“I’m definitely grateful for my role as Summer, but I must admit that I’m looking forward to becoming more than Summer. I’m also super excited to finally play a character who is my real age.”

Rachel showed up for the New York photo shoot wearing an adorably cool outfit of vintage boots, a raglan-sleeved Heart (the band) tee, and chic high-waisted sailor pants with so many buttons that she asked if she could leave them half open during our interview. Paris Parties but the Hottie Is Nothing to Celebrate

Paris doesn't turn 27 until next weekend but America's number one party girl started a week early with an mega_shok.gif's themed party this weekend at Area. The pink haired, tiara wearing heiress may have had fun at her pre-birthday bash but one thing she could not be happy about was the box office bomb that was The Hottie and the Nottie. As reported earlier, the movie opened on just over 100 screens and now it turns out the per screen average was only $225 bringing in a whopping $25,000 weekend total. Pathetic and not a good sign for the wanna-be-actress. To put it in perspective, Fool's Gold scored the top box office spot with $22 mil on over 3,000 screens — that's over $7,000 per screen. Jessica Alba Had a Lot of Haters

With The Eye to promote and a baby on the way, Jessica Alba has been scoring a lot of magazine covers lately. From dishing on not being girly to opening up about her pregnancy fears we're certainly learning a lot about Alba. Next on the list is the March issue of Marie Claire where she spoke about growing up in a multicultural family and dealing with bullies. Here are highlights:

* On being a role model: "When I was a little girl, I always wanted someone to look up to. I think identity was a big deal to me because I didn't fit in with one certain race. I always wanted someone who looked like me, who was a positive role model."

* "Ihttp://www.mesra.net/forum/style_images/1/folder_editor_images/rte-bold.png
Bold had a lot of haters. They'd unzip my backpack so my books would fall out. They'd tie my shoes together. They'd 'accidentally' spill lunches on me."

* On Hollywood's perception of women:"There's a lot of pressure on women to fulfill certain fantasies. They expect you to be a little bit of a tart, to flirt with all the men. A lot of women do it. But I'm not doing that. I talk with these guys about their wives and kids right away. When they say inappropriate things, I let them, because boys will be boys, but I'm not looking to participate in their conversations."

Though her recent interviews have seemed a little attention grabbing, it sounds like Jessica is still carrying some hurtful childhood memories with her. Hopefully focusing on her own growing family will help her move on and stay grounded in Hollywood.

Heath's Celebration!

in Heath Ledger's hometown, 600 people came out to mourn and celebrate the late actor's life. The invite only ceremony included family and friends, but no baby Matilda. Songs were sung including a lullaby by Ben Harper called Happily Ever After in Your Eyes written for Matilda per Heath's request almost two years ago. The family and Cate Blanchett spoke as well as Michelle Williams who read Shakespeare's, Sonnet 18, you know, "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day." After the sad ceremony, the mood changed as 50 of the friends, including Michelle, ran onto a beach with (and some without) their clothes on. Here are more details of the celebration, which finally produced some smiles that would have made Heath proud:

Those in the water laughed and cheered as Michelle watched from the shore. Ledger's sister Kate also took a dive into the water and was surrounded by pals splashing around her while her father Kim Ledger watched from the restaurant's balcony and shouted, "Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!" giving two thumbs up in the air.

As the sun began to set, the swimmers came on shore and stood in a line on both sides of Williams and linked arms. In the last five minutes, as the sun moved toward the horizon, the mourners stood in silence, watching and embracing. Williams hugged Kate Ledger and smiled as she watched the sunset at 8:15 p.m., local time. Two mourners in the group summoned up the moment as they stood behind Williams. "The sun goes down on our love," they said. "But it will never go down on Heathy."

As saddening as this whole thing has been, it is so sweet to finally see some smiles. Michelle clearly has an excellent support system and we hope she and the rest of Heath's family continues to mourn in peace as well as slowly learn to smile again.

Donna, Diddy, Ralph and Marc End FW With a Sonic Boom

Some of the biggest names of Fashion Week were there to close down the tents in NYC yesterday. Donna Karan, Sean John and Ralph Lauren all showed off their new collections on Friday in front of star-studded front rows, but it was the Marc Jacobs show last night that had everyone buzzing. After starting over two hours late last NY Fashion Week, MJ got things going relatively on time and surprised the audience with a live Sonic Youth concert while the models strutted the runway. Check out photos of the looks MJ churned out this time over on Fab. As reported, Kevin Federline was front and center for the show alongside the likes of an especially fierce looking Victoria Beckham and Selma Blair. Hotness. K-Fed looks a little tired these days — I wonder why. The man of the hour Marc himself looked like he was having a blast at the show and after party, gotta believe it's always a relief as soon as it's over. NY Fashion Week always feels like a marathon so I'm betting this weekend will involve a lot of sleep for the A-List front row staples.

Eva Mendes Heads Back to Rehab

Eva Mendes looked every bit the movie star with her sunglasses, cute coat and glamorous Dior bag making her way through LAX on Friday morning on her way back to Cirque Lodge. Just as her rep said, it was only a quick trip back to California on business (and boyfriend-seeing) for Eva before returning to the peace and quiet of Utah. Considering Cirque Lodge is current home to both Eva and Kirsten Dunst, was the place for Lohan back in the Fall and Mary-Kate Olsen a few years back, I gotta believe they're getting pretty good at taking care of the starlet set. Hopefully the next time we see Eva she's feeling better on the road to recovery.

Brit Brit Gets Back to Work

Britney Spears spent most of her weekend at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, CA where it is believed that she is learning a new routine for her next music video. Except for a couple of quick runs to Starbucks (and their lovely public restroom), Britney has kept her focus predominantly on her work. No partying, no late-night driving around town to various hotels, no Sam Lutfi ... just work and Starbucks. Dare I say, she might really truly be on the right track back to sanity these dyas?

Photo credit: Mr. Paparazzi and X17

Yes, yes ... her outfit is still a mess and she doesn't really look like she's changed much since the manic days of yore but I suspect there has been a real change in her since her release from the UCLA Medical Facility. Now that Britney as her parents back in her life, maybe she's actually taking their advice and staying out of trubs. I think it's too early to declare that she's all better but I'm pleased with the progress that seems to have been made thus far. [Source]

Speaking of progress ... it seems that Jamie Spears, Britney's father and legal conservator, has started cleaning house at Chez Spears. First, he got rid of Sam Lutfi and all the other leeches that have been feeding on his daughter over the past few months ... and now it seems that Papa Spears is getting rid of Brit Brit's infamous pink wig:

Maybe Papa Spears doesn't like what the wig represents, maybe it acts as a trigger that could possibly set off a manic episode in our dear Britney ... maybe he wants to sock it away for his personal use at a later date? Please, Lord, I hope it's not that third scenario. [Source]

Kanye West at the Grammy

Another emotional moment from last night's Grammy Awards came courtesy of Kanye West. In previous years, Kanye exerted a lot of time and energy bitching about all the awards that he didn't win ... this year, his energy was focused on paying tribute to his late mother -- which was a much classier way to go. Here are a few pics of Kanye on stage with Daft Punk, on his knees in reverence to his mother and holding one of his Grammy Awards up high:

Kanye West, who had a leading eight nominations and won four trophies, delivered an electric, glow-in-the-dark rendition of "Stronger," then segued into a stirring tribute to his mother, Donda West, who died unexpectedly last year at age 58 after undergoing plastic surgery. "Last night I saw you in my dreams, and now I can't wait to go to sleep," sang West, dressed in black and with MAMA etched into his haircut, as he launched into "Hey Mama," a celebratory tune from his second album that has now turned into a somber ode. West won awards for best rap album for "Graduation," best solo performance for "Stronger," best rap song for "Good Life" and best rap performance by a duo or group for his collaboration with Common on "Southside." While West was accepting the best rap album trophy, the orchestra tried to play him off the stage as he began speaking about his mother. "It would be in good taste to stop the music," West said — and the music stopped. "I know you're really proud of me right now and I know you want me to be the No. 1 artist in the world and Mama," West continued, "all I'm going to do is keep making you proud. We run this."

It's amazing how Kanye West can turn an egotistical and pretentious rant into something sweet and emotional, worthy of sympathy. Geeze, the man is a genius. [Source]

FIGHT!!!

In other brawlin' news, here is a follow-up to those pictures of Jesse Metcalfe getting his ass beat by UK no-name rapper Mamms Taylor that were posted last Saturday. Apparently, the sissy-fightin' didn't end there ... Jesse ended up running into Mr. Mamms at a club later on in the night and this time it was HIS turn to do some ass-beating:

It looks like Jesse came up from behind and got all touchy-feely with Mamms. If I had to pick, I'd have to say that Mamms is still the winner ... sure he landed a sucker punch on Jesse's face but it was still more gangsta than this hugging match initiated by Jesse Metcalfe. LOL!

Paul McCartney, Heather Mills Face Off in Court

Nearly two years after Paul McCartney and Heather Mills announced their separation, the duo appeared in a London court Monday to hammer out a divorce resolution.

McCartney, 65, and Mills, 40 – who wed at an Irish castle in 2002 – are battling over a financial settlement for Mills and arrangements for their four-year-old daughter Beatrice. According to previous reports, the former model is seeking a deal worth up to $100 million.

On Monday morning, Mills and McCartney – both wearing gray suits – were separately spotted entering Court 34 in the Family Division of London's Royal Courts of Justice.

McCartney, wrapped in a black and white scarf, said, "Good morning," to a group of journalists waiting outside the closed court hearing.

A tense-looking Mills, wearing a pink blouse and stiletto ankle boots, declined to comment as she entered the 19th century courtroom – where she is expected to represent herself. (She parted ways with her legal team last November, claiming she couldn't afford the bills.)

As the two attempt to reach an agreement over the next five days, Mills will conceivably be able to cross-examine McCartney in front of the judge.

Battling It Out

The pair – who split in 2005 and have been battling it out in the press ever since – emerged from the courtroom briefly just after noon for a bathroom break. Mills was escorted by a bodyguard while McCartney chatted with his senior attorney, Fiona Shackleton (who represented Prince Charles against Princess Diana). They broke for lunch just before 1 p.m. (local time), but Mills remained inside for an additional 15 minutes, having several packages delivered along with what appeared to be an overhead projector.

Neither Mills nor McCartney (whose first wife, Linda, died from cancer in 1998) have entered into a committed relationship since the split.

McCartney, however, has been linked to several women, including Rosanna Arquette. Just last week, they were spotted leaving a London eatery. But when photographers starting taking photos of the pair, Arquette hopped out of his Lexus and hailed a taxi.

"It was no big deal," his rep tells PEOPLE. "They are just mates."

Mills, meanwhile, has tried to keep a low profile in recent months after a damaging period when she repeated railed against the media. Her British publicist resigned over the ill-planned strategy.

Mom Denies Fergie Pregnancy Rumors

Fergie pregnant? Absolutely untrue, according to her rep – and her mom.

"Nope, not at all," Terri Ferguson said Tuesday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show in response to a question about the rumor that her daughter was pregnant.

"Did you see her at the Grammys?" said the mom, who described Fergie, 32, as "skinny, skinny, skinny."

Speaking to PEOPLE, Fergie's rep, Hillary Siskind, similarly replied “Not true" when asked about a story on Tuesday's New York Post Page Six. The item said Fergie was readjusting her and fiancé Josh Duhamel's wedding date on account of an impending arrival.

No Change in Plans
As for scheduling plans, "We are not moving up the wedding," Ferguson clarified on behalf of her daughter. In fact, the engaged couple "haven't met with a wedding planner yet."

Asked what might have triggered rumors of an early wedding and a pregnancy, Ferguson told Seacrest, "I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they are pregnant."

Ferguson also said she's in no hurry for her daughter to provide her with grandkids. "Not soon, soon," she said about whether she expected Fergie to start a family right away. "A couple years. They are newly engaged, Let them plan the wedding and all that."

Paris Hilton's Little Brother Arrested for DUI

Like sister, like brother? Paris Hilton's 18-year-old younger brother, Barron Hilton, was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of driving under the influence and carrying a fake driver's license, authorities confirm.

The younger Hilton was arrested at 8:04 a.m. after failing a field sobriety test, according to L. A. County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Hilton was not pulled over by sheriff's deputies. The black Mercedes he was driving was actually followed by another driver, who believed something was wrong. When Hilton stopped, the other driver him him sit on the curb until deputies arrived, according to Whitmore.

Hilton's blood-alcohol level was .14 percent, said Whitmore. The California legal limit for a person over 21 is .08 percent, but for a person under 21, any blood-alcohol level is considered legally drunk.

The DUI charge is a misdemeanor; the more serious charge is carrying a fake license, a felony.

Barron was booked at the Lost Hills sheriff's station and held on $20,000 bail. His Mercedes was impounded.

Barron's father Rick Hilton said in a statement: "I haven't been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say – but it will be to my son, not the media."

Paris Hilton famously served time in jail last year for violating probation in an alcohol-related driving case. Hilton was charged with DUI in September 2006.

Aretha Not Feeling the R-E-S-P-E-C-T at Grammys

When Beyoncé and Tina Turner hit the Grammy stage for their high-octane duet, most folks were left in awe. But the woman known as the "Queen of Soul" was left a bit dismayed after Beyoncé introduced Turner as "the queen."

An offended Aretha Franklin says in a statement, "I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé, however I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy. In addition to that, I thank the Grammys and the voting academy for my 20th Grammy and love to Beyoncé anyway."

There was no immediate comment from Beyoncé or the Recording Academy.

John Mayer Disses Paris Hilton

Think Paris Hilton can get anyone she wants? Think again.

At Sunday's Sony BMG post-Grammy party, Hilton, 26, "aggressively tried to hook up with" John Mayer, 30, the New York Post reports, "following him around and dancing, trying to get him to look at her."

A source told the paper: "At one point, she sat at a table and tapped on the seat to motion him to sit next to her.

"John politely sat for less than a second before ignoring her and moving to chat with a group of friend."

The rejection wasn't the only blow for Hilton this weekend: Her new comedy, The Hottie and the Nottie bombed, opening to $9,000 on 111 screens, or $81 per screen, Box Office Mojo reports.

Mom: Amy Winehouse Is "on the Road to Recovery"

After winning five Grammys Sunday, Amy Winehouse's mother Janis says her daughter is "on the road to recovery.

"Well, it's Amy coming back, she's definitely on the way back," she said in a new interview with Britain's GMTV.

Winehouse, 24, delivered a polished performance via satellite at Sunday's show — proof, Janis said, that her daughter has already cleaned up her act.

"Well, as you saw, she looks good and it's a case of she's on the road - and that's what it's about - she's on the road to recovery," Janis said.

A rep for Winehouse's PR firm said the singer "is an outpatient and she is under medical supervision and the treatment continues."

Winehouse went to rehab last month after Britain's The Sun released a video of her apparently using a crack pipe.

Winehouse took home give Grammys — including Record of the Year — Sunday. Natalie Cole blasted the Grammys for honoring the "Rehab" singer, claiming "it sends the wrong message" to award a singer "in the midst of her stupor of drugs."

Miley Cyrus Blasted for Not Wearing Seat Belt

Buckle up, Miley.

In her 3-D Disney concert film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, the teen queen, 15, is caught on camera riding in the back seat of a Range Rover without a seat belt. So is her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Consumer Reports' Safety Web site claims that 65 percent of the 13- to 15-year-olds killed in auto accidents in 2006 were not wearing seat belts.

"It seems to us that Miley, her father and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract - rather than encourage - this trend," a blog item says.
