Don't Mess With Kanye



The diva raged this weekend!

There was a bit of a technical malfunction at Kanye West's concert in Houston on Friday night.

And he ended up walking off the stage in a tantrum!

Multiple concertgoers tell PerezHilton.com that the side screens that the venue had to show Kanye weren't working - they weren't the massive screens that were part of his show.

Kanye told the venue to "Turn the ####### screens off" first. And when no one did anyhting, he stoped the show and said "If the shits not working just turn it off" and stormed off!

After about a minute he came back onstage and finished the show.

We're told the concert was amazing, though, despite the malfunction.

Bad news for R. Kelly!

As the singer's child molestation trial continues…

A new witness is set to come forward and provide some damning testimony against the pervy R&B star!

A woman is claming to have had a 3some with Kelly and the young teenager - believed to be 13 or 14 - who he videotaped himself having sex with.

As part of the case, prosecutors claim to have identified the girl in the videotape. This alleged victim is now in her 20s. Kelly’s lawyers plan to argue — and the alleged victim will reportedly testify — that she is not the girl in the tape.

But the prosecution’s new witness could undermine that defense, since she will identify the girl, sources with knowledge of the matter told the Chicago Sun-Times. In addition, the witness is expected to say the girl was underage at the time of their encounter.

If he's guilty, which it sure SEEMS he is, then R. Kelly needs to be locked up for a nice long while.

ABC Cancels 'Men in Trees'



ABC has canceled its show "Men in Trees," reports tvguide.com. Series creator JENNY BICKS told TV Guide that she believes that two years of back and forth scheduling is what brought about the shows fate.

Bicks added, "I wish the show had not been moved six times and put on two long hiatuses. ... No show could survive that."

The '90210' Spin-off Adds a New Cast Member



The CW announced today that TRISTAN WILDS will be joining the ever-growing cast of the "Beverly Hills, 90120" spin-off.

Tristan has been cast as Dixon Mills, the adopted brother of Annie Mills (SHENAE GRIMES), who makes the move to Beverly Hills with his family.

Here is the breakdown of the cast so far: MICHAEL STEGER -- Navid, a student at the high school, who heads up the school's daily on-air newscast, and makes friends with Dixon Mills, one of the two new kids in town.

Shenae Grimes -- Annie Mills, one of the core teenagers on the show, whose family has relocated to the 90210 zip code from Kansas.

Simon Cowell Predicts the 'American Idol' Finale



There is no doubt in SIMON COWELL's mind that this year's "American Idol" finale will be a competition between the two David's -- DAVID ARCHULETA and DAVID COOK -- he indicated at a press conference to promote this summer's "America's Got Talent," on which he is the creator/executive producer.

"You're going to have a real scrap," he predicts. "The winner will really depend on what song they sing on the night."

That said, he also admits that "American Idol" is also a popularity contest and that, "David Cook has got the better voice and David Archuleta has got the teen and grandma appeal."

As for SYESHA MERCADO -- the last woman standing, and someone who has consistently been in the bottom two, but has been saved each week -- Simon says, "If I was a betting man, I wouldn't put my money on her. She is a good singer. She is solid. She will be very happy with where she got. For me, I just haven't had that incredible moment from her yet."

That just leaves JASON CASTRO, who has had some great moments and, more recently, some not so great. Simon thinks that looks play a big part in Jason's success: "If he looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, he still wouldn't be in the competition, would he?" he suggests.

The "American Idol" finale begins on Tuesday, May 20 with the next "American Idol" named on Wednesday, May 21 on FOX. Then, "America's Got Talent" premieres on Tuesday, June 17 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

'Ugly Betty' Season Finale Spoiler!

LiLo’s ‘Ugly’ role is ‘1st good decision’ in awhile


Lindsay Lohan really needs her gig on "Ugly Betty" to go well, and according to Us Weekly, things are looking good professionally so far. The actress arrived early on set, and is hitting it off with star America Ferrera.

Lindsay Lohan’s possible involvement with “Ugly Betty” has been rumored for months, and now the beleaguered actress is finally onboard with the show, and even made her first appearance on set on Saturday, May 3.

“She really, really needs this to go well,” said one industry source who has worked with Lohan in the past. “For the longest time she’s been getting terrible advice — that’s been obvious for quite some time. This is the first good decision she’s made from an acting standpoint since ‘Georgia Rules,’” according to the source.

So far, Lohan is off to a good start. Us Weekly reports that Lohan “arrived on set 45 minutes early,” and she and the show’s star, America Ferrera, “really hit it off.”

Whether this is a sign of a permanent professional upswing for Lohan remains to be seen, but the source, who worked with Lohan prior to her rehab stints, thinks anything is possible. “Look what Robert Downey Jr. has done with his career. He was in much worse shape than Lindsay, and look what he did. She just needs to keep making good choices.”

After dating for more than a year, Scarlett Johansson is set to marry her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

"They're both thrilled," Johansson's rep Marcel Pariseau tells PEOPLE.

Reynolds, 31, currently filming the aptly named The Proposal in Boston with Sandra Bullock, recently popped the question to Johansson, 23. The couple have not set a wedding date.

The Nanny Diaries star is expected to show off her sparkler at Monday night's Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York. Sources say Johansson is eager to "show off her rock" with her Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Will Smith, Posh, Renée Pay Tribute to Tom Cruise



The second part of Tom Cruise's sit-down with Oprah Winfrey aired Monday – and the actor looked back over his 25-year career with a little help from his friends and costars.

On the show, Winfrey gifted audience members with a box set of the actor's flicks, and showed off choice clips from his movies while the actor recounted his career. "I feel at home on that movie set," he told Winfrey. "A lot of times I show up before the crew. And I feel this is what I'm supposed to do."

And his friends concur.

Throughout the show, former costars like Will Smith, Renée Zellweger and friends David and Victoria Beckham recorded sweet and funny tributes. Here are some of the top moments:

FIRST LISTEN: 'Summertime' from New Kids on the Block



They've called their new single "Summertime" and the tune is, well, appropriately sunny. The New Kids on the Block will officially release the synth-heavy anthem on May 13, but PEOPLE.com has a first taste. Sweet and bright, the song finds the guys getting nostalgic, singing, "I think of you in the summertime / and all the good times we had, baby."

Nina Garcia made a cameo in last week’s episode of Ugly Betty, but I’m told things didn’t go too smoothly.

A source spills that Project Runway judge and ousted Elle editor repeatedly flubbed her lines during the shoot. “It took, like, hours,” the source says. “They had to keep doing take after take after take. And it was for, like, the smallest bit!”

Meanwhile, things continue to be a bit awkward for Garcia and Project Runway. I’m told Runway producers are still trying to hammer out how they’ll describe Garcia next season now that she’s no longer with the magazine.

When I asked if there was any update, Runway executive producer Jane Cha said, “Not yet!”

Naomi Adds Star Wattage to Scent



Thierry Mugler is turning up the star power.

Giving the 17-year-old brand an Oscar-nominated shot in the arm, Naomi Watts has signed on to be the face of the designer's Angel scent and, starting in October, will be featured in a global print campaign and "glamorous and magical" commercial shot by Dreamgirls director Bill Condon.

According to the release explaining the rationale behind the pairing, Watts was the perfect choice to front the perfume, which comes in a star-shaped bottle, because "the actress projects a personality that blends sensuality, voluptuousness and evanescence to evoke the many facets of Angel."

That, plus her "blond fragility...natural tenderness" and "emotional seductiveness," sealed the deal.

And drew attention to the fact that Watts is apparently a celestial being.

Sarah Jessica Parker Talks Tom, Sex, Sexless Scents



The mysteries of Tom Cruise! Really cold feet! And...perfume you can share with your b-f? Sarah Jessica Parker dished on so many things over the weekend—during the action-packed press day for Sex and the City—that we're not sure where to begin.

OK, the stinky stuff.

With two fragrances already on the market, SJP revealed to E! News that another is on the way. "I have a genderless one that I've been working on for about six months," she said, "and wore it a lot when I was shooting the movie."

Genderless? But what if Matthew Broderick uses it all? Anyway, fragrance, as you might imagine, is important to her. More important, she says, than clothes.

"If I walk out without wearing fragrance, it's my version of being completely nude," she said. "Which, as you know, I never am."

Perhaps the screaming audience during the Sex cast's visit with Oprah last week caught a whiff. That very intense show, packed with hand-picked fans, taught Parker a little about Carrie Bradshaw's devotees—and also Cruise.

See, the famous couch-jumping incident totally makes sense—if you've been in that amped-up Oprah spotlight. "Yeah," she said, "because it's the environment that allows for that."

Beyond that, she wants you to know she put a lot into this movie. So you better like it, people.

"I would rather be cold and look good," she told us. "I would rather wear heels and run down the block for 14 hours, and in six months see it on screen and think, 'Yeah, I should have been in heels running down the street after that cab.' You have to be a thoroughbred about it if you care."

Court Covers Up for R. Kelly



Freedom of the press and all, but... ew.

The Illinois Supreme Court on Monday shot down a motion filed by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and AP requesting access to sealed records and transcripts pertaining to R. Kelly's long-gestating child porn case.

Jury selection is currently underway and the trial is expected to begin Friday, nearly six years after the case went to a Cook County grand jury.

Kelly has pleaded not guilty to having inappropriate contact with a minor and related charges for allegedly taping himself having sex with a 13-year-old girl sometime between Jan. 1, 1998, and November 2000.

Keanu Reeves has just been sucked deeper into a legal matrix.

A Los Angeles judge today shot down a motion by Neo's alter ego to keep a paparazzo from seeking punitive damages for allegedly being dinged by the actor's Porsche.

"There's not a whisper of an accident here," Superior Court Justice Elizabeth Grimes said in her ruling.

Grimes stated that while shutterbug Alison Silva has yet to prove his case, it was too early to eliminate the option of punitive damages, particularly when a car is considered a deadly weapon under state law.

Punitive damages could substantially increase any payout Reeves would have to make, should he be found liable for purposely aiming his black 1996 Porsche 911 Cabrio at Silva last spring.

It will be up to a jury to figure it out, when the trial kicks off Oct. 27.

Jessica Biel is dating Justin Timberlake and she has a heart of gold? Some girls have all the luck.

As it is, the pop star's better half has teamed up with the other man in her life, father Jon, to launch the Make the Difference Network, a cause-oriented social network that's designed to connect nonprofit organizations with caring (and preferably deep-pocketed) individuals and businesses.

Sort of like MySpace, without the potentially perv-attracting downside.

Lindsay Parties with Diddy and Cameron Before Getting Ugly



Lindsay Lohan may have been hard at work on the set of Ugly Betty Saturday, but not before hitting Diddy's exclusive party the night before. The hip-hopper, who received a star on the Walk of Fame earlier that day, threw an "intimate" bash for 250 friends—whom he personally invited.

The party was held at billionaire Ron Burkle's Beverly Hills estate, and although L.L. came to celebrate, she was on her best behavior. According to one partygoer who observed her that night, she wasn't drinking.

The countdown is on in New York City.

In just a couple of hours or so, George Clooney and Julia Roberts will join fashion legend Giorgio Armani and Vogue editrix Anna Wintour to host this year’s Costume Institute gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

And I got a bunch o’ gossip goodies for you about the big star-studded, fashionista-packed evening:

While I had originally heard that Madonna was going to be sitting at Wintour's table, Madge's rep says that ain't possible: "She's in Paris doing a big show tomorrow night."

Mariah Carey will also be a no-show. I'm told she canceled last week as soon she and Nick Cannon said their I do's.

Meanwhile, I hear megastars like Clooney, along with girlfriend Sarah Larson, David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and designer and Beatles scion Stella McCartney are staying at the Carlyle Hotel on the Upper East Side. And just minutes ago, I'm told, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and baby Suri, as well as Tom Ford walked into the posh hotel.

As for Clooney, his after-party at Amy Sacco’s Bungalow 8 is the invite to have tonight. Only 100 people have been invited to the superexclusive bash, a source reports.

Tell that to stylist Rachel Zoe, who you may have heard was disinvited from the Met Gala after she boasted in the press that she thought she was more powerful in the fashion world than Wintour. Zoe, however, is still said to be styling Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes for the big shebang.

Wintour is looking more favorably on sports figures, like football star Eli Manning, who may show up with his wife of just about two weeks, Abby McGrew. And Andy Roddick is coming with his fiancée, Brooklyn Decker.

Ms. Julia Roberts will be wearing—what else—Armani. I hear she was in fittings for many hours over the last few days. Her jewels? Probably from her pal, Cathy Waterman. I just got word that Beyoncé may be attending and wearing Mr. Armani, too.

But don’t go looking for at least one half of the happy couple on tonight’s red carpet. Reynolds can’t make it, because he’ll be working.

Uma Stalking Case to Jury



Uma Thurman's peace of mind is in a jury's hands now.

The Kill Bill star's stalking case went to a Manhattan jury today, after lawyers for the prosecution and defense wrapped up their closing arguments.

The eight-man, four-woman panel must decide if a former mental patient named Jack Jordan crossed the line from obsession to criminal behavior and, if so, whether he should be locked up.

Jordan's attorney, George Vornvolakis, admitted his client is "an eccentric man" with a "weird sense of humor," but he stressed that Jordan, who sent dozens of letters to Thurman and even broke into her trailer on a movie set, would never have harmed the object of his affections.

"He doesn't think like most of us," the attorney said. "In his own mind, he thought he had a chance."

Vornvolakis added that Jordan never met Thurman and "couldn't know" that she'd be freaked out by his actions.

On the contrary, countered Assistant District Attorney Jessica Taub. She claimed that Thurman's No. 1 fan disregarded repeated requests by the actress' relatives to halt the emails and notes, one of which had Jordan threatening suicide if he saw her with another man.

"The defendant bulldozed right through that stop sign," the prosecutor said. "This isn't about love for Uma Thurman. This is about self-absorption."

Last week, an anxious Thurman testified that Jordan's aggressive actions, including trying to meet her on a Manhattan film set and paying repeated visits to her Greenwich Village residence, alarmed her to such an extent that she feared for the safety of her two children.

On Friday, Thurman's unwanted courtier took to the witness stand and admitted being "misguided" in thinking she might meet with him, but said he was "not trying to scare her in any way." He also chalked up his professed desire to kill himself as "a clumsy and poor way of expressing my emotions for her."

If convicted of the misdemeanor stalking and harassment charges, Jordan could get up to a year in jail.

Iron Man 2—Stat!



The bigger they are, the harder they fall it is to resist making a sequel.

In Marvel's case, it won't even try with Iron Man. Three days after the superhero movie opened, and one day after its weekend gross topped $100 million, the comics giant turned movie mogul announced Iron Man 2 will hit theaters April 30, 2010.

No details were announced. But the principals of Iron Man—stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard and director Jon Favreau, among them—have been talking for quite a while as if a sequel was going to happen and as if they were going to help make it happen.



Apparently in a really good mood, Marvel also set a June 4, 2010, release date for Thor, based on its hammer-toting hero of Norse god tradition, and penciled in a Captain America movie and an Avengers movie for 2011.

The former is tentatively titled The First Avenger: Captain America and is set to open May 6, 2011. The latter is simply called The Avengers and is due to targeted to open sometime in July 2011.

Marvel also reasserted its commitment to Ant-Man, noting that writers and a director—Shaun of the Dead's Edgar Wright—have been "engaged." But no release date was announced.

Ant-Man might be the biggest loser in the Iron Man juggernaut. Speculation was that the sometimes-diminutive hero would get his big-screen closeup in 2010. With today's announcements, even 2011 seems unlikely.

Still, Ant-Man is a member of the Avengers and would seem to be a lock for an invite to that group's movie, which, by rights, would costar Captain America, Thor, The Hulk and Iron Man.

Earlier this year, Favreau called an Avengers movie "a great idea," and expressed interest in directing it, MTV's website reported. But so far, no cast, no director and no writers have been announced.

All of today's announced films—Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, The Avengers and Ant-Man—will be produced by Marvel and distributed by Paramount.

The lineup doesn't include the other Marvel movies on the way: The Incredible Hulk, due out June 13; Punisher: War Zone, due out Dec. 5; and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, set for May 1, 2009.

Perhaps so as to avoid whipping rival DC Comics so soundly, Marvel has declared 2009 a year of rest—or at least it won't release one of its self-produced films that year.

The superhero factory can spend the downtime counting its Iron Man riches. Per the final weekend numbers released today, the movie grossed $102.1 million from Friday to Sunday—the 10th biggest opening in Hollywood history. Add in the foreign box office, and the film's weekend take stands at nearly $200 million.

Memo to The Hulk: If you want your own sequel and not just a part in The Avengers, your opening weekend better show some Iron Man heart. And bank.

Taylor Swift graces the June 2008 cover of Seventeen, on newsstands May 6th. The 18-year-old singer/songwriter opened up to the mag about dealing with bad friendships, being cheated on and where she gets inspiration for her songs. Here are a few of the interview highlights:

On being famous in her hometown of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania: “I was actually playing a sold-out show in my hometown, and I was signing autographs afterward. And I saw those girls who didn’t invite me to their parties and didn’t invite me to hang out with them. They waited in line for three hours to say hi to me. That’s where I have to look at this situation and say, ‘We were kids.’ At some point, you have to forget about grudges because they only hurt.”

On turning painful real-life situations into good songwriting: “Well, I wrote ‘Should’ve Said No,’ about a guy who cheated on me. There’s always that moment where you’re like, ‘He says he’s not gonna do it again, he says he’s sorry, and, oh, look how sorry he is!’ But they’re not sorry. If they cheated on you, then you didn’t matter enough for them to be thinking about you while it was happening. So what does it matter if he apologizes after the fact? And at some point, you realize that you do not deserve to be treated like that. I decided I didn’t want to be that girl.”

On why she’s proud to be unique: “Everybody looks in the mirror and is like, ‘I wonder why her eyes are huge and mine are smaller.’ But I realized that if you’re lucky enough to be different from everyone else, don’t change.”

Megan Fox Has School Spirit

It’s weird in Hollywood, where people try to control every aspect of you, from the color of your hair to every word you utter.”

A new trailer for The Dark Knight was released this past weekend, giving us a slightly bigger look into what is coming on July 18th.

While we’ve seen a lot of Heath Ledger‘s Joker, the latest trailer gave us a little more on Aaron Eckhart‘s Harvey Dent, who ultimately becomes Two-Face.

“I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach,” Eckhart told the LA Times of his Two-Face appearance. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It’s like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can’t talk about it beyond that because I don’t want to give away too much of the plans by Chris [Nolan].”

“To me, this film is about how Batman feels about justice, how he takes care of the city, how he feels about the Joker when he meets him and sees what he is capable of doing. How he feels when Harvey Two-Face takes matters into his own hands. It’s not simple, and it gets ugly. I think people will be surprised.”

No Photo Ops for the Pivs



He may play a power broker on TV, but Jeremy Piven behaved more like high-maintenance talent during a recent outing at a Hollywood hot spot.

The philandering star arrived at Green Door last Tuesday around 9 p.m. and greeted two young blondes for some cocktails and live jazz. But instead of seeing double the fun, the actor wound up seeing red.

Several partygoers were celebrating birthdays in the venue—heavily trafficked the past few weeks due to impromptu Prince performances—and took some photos to commemorate the occasion.

But Piven apparently wasn't a fan of the flashing bulbs.

The Entourage star ratted out the snap-happy clubbers, alerting club security that personal pictures were being taken in violation of the Green Door's no-photo policy. He asked the guard to shut down the impromptu photo session immediately.

"He's pissed," an onlooker said of Piven's tattling. "But it's not like anyone wanted pictures of him."

The snaps seemed to have spoiled his game—the Pivs parted ways with the blondes around 11:30 p.m. and took up with a tall brunette until closing time.

Robert Downey Jr.: Hoopin' and Hollerin'



Well, he certainly has a lot to cheer about.

While Robert Downey Jr. was no doubt rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers as they played the Utah Jazz on Sunday, the actor had to be jazzed himself, given that his new flick Iron Man managed to shoot and score big at the box office this weekend.

As a result, rival leading man Patrick Dempsey's Made of Honor, which debuted at a distant second, has now been retitled Made of Alloy.

Kanye: You'll Never "Michael Jackson" Me



Kanye made headlines after his big fuss over technical glitches at a recent Houston concert, but on his blog, he tells fans: “Don't believe the hype!”

The man is not a prima donna, he says. He’s not even a Madonna. And he’s certainly no Michael Jackson:

"Unfortunately for certain media outlets, you will never be able 2 'Michael Jackson' me. That means 2 make it seem like everything I do is so weird or out of place...they always try 2 make it seem like everything is about my ego! That joke is getting old."

Thanks for clarifying, Kanye. For a minute there we thought "Michael Jacksoning" someone meant wrapping them in a blanket and dangling them out a hotel window. (How's that for a joke getting old?)

Family Guy Guy Goes Cha-Ching!



Fox is paying big bucks to keep Peter, Stewie and Brian all in the family.

After nearly two and a half years of negotiations, Family Guy mastermind Seth MacFarlane has inked a ginormous $100 million pact with 20th Century Fox TV that will see him churning out new episodes of his popular animated comedy through at least 2012.

The deal makes MacFarlane the highest paid writer-producer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Aside from Family Guy, the deal includes MacFarlane's other 'toon, American Dad, the upcoming Guy spinoff, The Cleveland Show, as well as a live-action comedy. The 34-year-old MacFarlane will also pocket more from DVD sales and merchandising.

After coming back from the dead, Family Guy has turned into a $1 billion franchise and is Fox's top-rated comedy.

"I get a lot of pleasure out of making shows," MacFarlane told the Reporter. "It's a bonus to be getting paid well for it, and it's a double bonus to be getting paid exorbitantly for it."

Lovesick Kutcher Fans Reportedly Bugged Demi



At the start of her relationship with Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore had to contend with much more than just “cougar” comments.

For a couple of months into their relationship, cars full of giddy girl fans would reportedly pull up to Ashton’s house at all hours, ring the doorbell and say hello. Sometimes they’d leave notes and stuffed animals.

The What Happens in Vegas star reportedly said that his roommate intercepted the giggly gaggles, but on some occasions it was Moore who answered the door. Can you imagine the girls’ shock?

“Oh, wow. Sorry, ma’am. We didn’t realize Ashton still lived with his mom.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took to the skies this weekend, whisking daughter Zahara off for a helicopter ride around France Saturday. The couple – who are hunkering down in St Jean Cap Ferrat at the historic villa owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen – appeared to be house hunting, sources say, exploring four possible properties.

The next day, the expectant parents and their entire brood (daughters Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 1, and sons Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4) stayed closer to home, visiting Bono's waterfront home at Eze, France, about 15 minutes from Allen's luxury compound. While their weekend may sound glamorous, one local source insists that, when it comes to daily life inside the villa, they're just like any other family on vacation. "They're doing everything you and I might be doing," said the source. "Eating, taking naps and swimming in the pool." Later this month, the pregnant Jolie is scheduled to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for two films, Kung Fu Panda and The Changeling.

Yeah, I don't recall my family trips involving helicopter rides and playdates with rock stars so I don't know that this weekend sounds like "everything you and I might be doing". That being said, they are prolly the most famous celebrity family on the planet, quite frankly, I'm a bit disappointed when all they do is go to Toys R Us or to regular movie theaters. It really sounds like the fam is really enjoying everything that their fabulous life has to offer. It's always a great sight to see the entire family out and about and having fun.

In slightly less controversial photos than those of the not that innocent Miley Cyrus, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is featured in a Vanity Fair photospread while wearing an "array of haute couture creations" ... behold:



Blake does look amazing in these outfits but hasn't the American in Paris thing been done to death already? Vanity Fair is known for pushing the limits and offering its readers something they might not've been expecting (see the aforementioned Miley Cyrus VF photos) ... something other than a photo of the latest "It" girl wearing a "33-pound Swarovski-crystal-encrusted satin gown by Dior features 6,000 sequins—handstitched with gold thread" for example. Still, the pics are lovely. I'd like to see Blake do something more avant garde next time, tho ... she really shouldn't be playing second fiddle to Hannah Montana.

Just days after surprising us all by eloping to the Bahamas with Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey was spotted on her way to catch some rays on the island over the weekend. Her new husband was nowhere to be seen — waiting inside for his new bride to return? We also can't get a good look at that much talked about rock on her finger, but I'm sure she'll be back to showing it off soon enough. Mariah canceled her appearance on The View this morning (to enjoy her honeymoon perhaps?), but the newlyweds can't stay hiding forever. You all seem pretty skeptical that these two will last so hopefully we'll still get a glimpse of that post-wedding glow.

If Ashlee's Pregnant, She's Sure Not Showing Yet

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were among the familiar celebrity faces that hit the red carpet at the Bravo Supershow in Nuremberg, Germany on Sunday. After weeks of conveniently cut dresses and hoodies to go along with those pregnancy rumors, Ashlee showed off her svelte figure in a high-waisted skirt. While Ash still won't confirm or deny that, during an interview with Heat Radio she was happy to joke about her upcoming wedding — specifically whether Jessica's music would make it into the reception playlist. She said, "No, that would be really nerdy." Wentworth Miller joined them at the event, which I'm sure makes more than a few of you readers happy.
