George Clooney and Sarah Larson Split



George Clooney and his girlfriend Sarah Larson have split up after a year of dating, a source tells PEOPLE.

The actor's rep, Stan Rosenfield, would only say: "We do not comment on George's personal life."

The pair initially met in Las Vegas nearly four years ago, when Larson, a onetime Fear Factor winner, was a cocktail server at The Whiskey Bar. But it wasn't until the pair met for the second time in June 2007 in Las Vegas that sparks flew.

Larson, 29, and Clooney, 47, made their public debut together at the Venice and Deauville film festivals last September. Later that month, the twosome were injured in a motorcycle accident.

Earlier this year, Larson accompanied Clooney to the Oscars – the first girlfriend ever to go with him to the event.

Though there was speculation that Clooney would end his longtime bachelorhood, in March the actor shot down rumors of an engagement.

Next up for Clooney is the Coen brothers movie Burn After Reading, co-starring Brad Pitt, due out in September.

David Cook Visits Luke Menard in the Hospital



Preparing for the American Idol finale means long hours and hard work. But days before David Cook was declared the season seven winner, he dropped everything to visit with fellow top 24 contestant Luke Menard in a Los Angeles hospital.

Menard, 29, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

“I love Luke and I just wanted to show up and make sure that he understood that I love him and know that if there’s anything I can do for him and his wife, sign me up, you know?” Cook tells PEOPLE. “Luke, Michael Johns, Jason Yeager and myself, we kind of buddy-ed up one day at Hollywood week,” Cook explains. “We called ourselves the four horsemen. Any time one of your own is going through something as horrible as that, it makes everything else seem a little bit insignificant.

“Cancer,” Cook says, “is a very big part of my existence.” Cook’s older brother Adam has been battling brain cancer for ten years. “I’m excited to be put in [the spotlight] where I can hopefully do something to help other people.”

Gary Dourdan Pleads Guilty to Possession of Cocaine, Ecstasy



Gary Dourdan, best known for his role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, pleaded guilty to counts of cocaine and Ecstasy possession during his arraignment Wednesday in Indio, Calif.

Dressed in a navy blue suit, light blue shirt and matching striped tie, Dourdan casually flashed the peace sign as he left court, got into the back of a waiting car and drove away.

He was charged with three counts of felony drug possession following his April 28 early-morning arrest in Palm Springs, Calif. The heroin count was dismissed.

"As a result of today's proceedings, Gary has been given diversion (a drug treatment program)," his lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley said outside the Lawson Justice Center. "He very much regrets what happened and he's very embarrassed by what occurred, but he's looking forward to moving on and getting back to work."

Dourdan had faced up to three years and eight months based on the charges filed against him. Instead, he faces no prison time, but must complete the 16-class drug program.

Holley added: "He is very grateful to the court for being understanding and giving him an opportunity to resolve the issue and move forward."

The Weekend of His Arrest
Police spotted Dourdan, 41, sleeping in his car on the wrong side of the street. He was charged with possession of cocaine, heroin and Ecstasy and released on $5,000 bail.

The weekend before his arrest, Dourdan attended the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in nearby Indio, Calif.

"Obviously, I am embarrassed to find myself in this situation," he said in a statement to PEOPLE, "and I am profoundly grateful to everyone for their support."

Dourdan played Warrick Brown in the popular CBS crime show. In the season finale, a crooked officer shot his character twice in the neck. A show source said it was common knowledge that Dourdan's contract was up at the end of the season.

His rep said Dourdan was preparing to star in a French horror film called Black Jack, where he plays an American soldier who parachutes into a French village exposed to chemical warfare during World War II.

Ne-Yo: Lindsay Lohan Is 'Ridiculously Fabulous' on Album



Ne-Yo admits he had his doubts about Lindsay Lohan's vocal talents when he was asked to write a song for her upcoming third album, due later this year.

"I gotta admit, we were like ... 'Lindsay Lohan?'" Ne-Yo tells Billboard magazine. "I mean, I've written for Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Celine Dion and ... Lindsay Lohan?"

But after hearing her sing on the track, called "Bossy," Ne-Yo says he and producer Stargate were so impressed that he called Lohan to say how sorry he was for not believing in her. "She did a ridiculously fabulous job," Ne-Yo tells the magazine. "I was so shocked I had to call her and apologize for what I was thinking because she did so good. I think the world is gonna be surprised."

Earlier this month Ne-Yo told PEOPLE that he and Stargate approached the Lohan project "as a challenge. 'Can we make a song for Lindsay Lohan that people were gonna take seriously?' I think we did it," he said.

Even though Ne-Yo will release his own third album, Year of the Gentleman, on Aug. 15, he's also writing for other artists including Usher, Leona Lewis, and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson – his song "Spotlight" will be the first single off her self-titled debut album, due in September. He has also submitted songs for Michael Jackson's next album, which does not yet have a release date.

Ne-Yo is currently on tour with Alicia Keys.

They've all said the same thing — that boom mics litter a few of the movie's scenes!

How could they let this happen????

Why wouldn't they fix such an obvious gaff in post-production???

In a scene where Carrie and Big discuss their wedding vows, a microphone is seen hanging down at the top of the screen the entire time!

We're sure SATC was given a huge production budget…so, why weren't the microphones 'erased' during the editing process?

Did they blow the editing money on wardrobe?????

In addition to counting the number of cute shoes Carrie wears, we're going to be looking out for stray mics when we watch the flick this weekend!

Just when you thought they couldn't get any bigger!

The Jonas Brothers will now have their own book to add to the list of JB merchandise.

The Disney Book Group will be publishing the "behind-the-scenes" book on the Jonai.

The book will consist of never-before-seen photos and some very exclusive commentaries.

So, basically someone is writing the book for them and about them and they're going to pocket a lot of money - as will Disney.

We're a little bit jelly!

Look for the book coming out this Fall.

In the meantime, you can also catch the new Disney stars in their upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, which airs this June 20th.

The June issue of Elle U.K. features a revealing interview with Sienna Miller. And, based on everything she says about Rhys Ifans it's pretty clear that she totally hearts him.

Makes it hard to believe those break up rumors floating about!

Here's an excerpt of the interview — judge for yourself.

"When his name is mentioned, it makes me smile like a fool because I instantly think of him and it makes me happy. He does just make me happy.

"I don’t know why people find it so unlikely. We started as friends and then it just slowly developed. I don’t think either of us was expecting it, but it truly has been the most wonderful thing. I totally love Rhys but most of all, he’s my best friend. He makes me laugh. Not just a little laugh – he can completely floor me laughing."

The actress also reveals how they like nothing more than pretending to be schoolkids "bunking off", spending the day eating bizarre concoctions like stuffing sandwiches and chips dipped in milkshake.

"[Rhys] is the best cook ever. He does these mad dishes that taste completely wonderful, like carrots poached in mandarin juice," she says.

"My perfect day starts with bacon cooked in maple syrup and a cup of tea. Most times I’m so busy I actually feel guilty about having free time. Rhys and I have this thing about “bunking off” and taking time out. A couple of hours off is called Games. The whole afternoon is Double Games and the full 24 hours is Sports Day. On any of those days, food is involved big time."

She adds: "Rhys and I have this horrible addiction to caviar. We’re junkies. We do the whole works: blinis, chopped eggs, chopped red onion, sour cream… It’s total bliss. [And] I have loads of other food fetishes. Pickled Onion Monster Munch, WH Smith Chicken & Stuffing sandwiches, milk chocolate with salt-and-vinegar crisps, in the mouth at the same time – you just have to try it – and French fries dipped in chocolate milkshake."

Despite rumours of an on-off engagement, Sienna insists: "No ring. It’s so embarrassing when these stories come out and your relationship has been somehow fast-forwarded. We both had our mums on the phone. It’s just awkward. But I’m so happy with our relationship as it is. It has always been incredibly easy and uncomplicated and those stories make for complications that just don’t exist."

She adds: "I must have a thing for Welshmen. My first serious boyfriend was from Llandudno. Jude is half-Welsh and then Rhys is the full item. Weird or what?"

When Your Own Fans Hate You



Looks like Raven Symone's biggest fan is OVAH her! The keeper of her biggest fan site, Raven-Symone.org, has called it quits.

And the actress/singer is to blame!

Here are his parting words:

CLOSED
The time has come for me to personally close the site. We were at the top of our game and I cannot be more happy with the way the site had gone. The members were all so loyal. However I made the decision to close the site based on this past year. This was supposed to be the best year for Raven professionally and she wasted it! The movie did great, she promoted I couldn't have been happier, I got to meet her and even though she was very standoffish it completed my goal of wanting to meet her.

The whole album deal just infuriates me! She had a great album and she refused to do anything with it. She ended up selling only 4,400 copies!!!! That is a huge flop. She did zero promotion and didn't acknowledge it on her OWN official website which showed little to no care for this album which is sad. What just did it for me was her management team, we were told we would get an interview for the website 4 months ago… then it comes time for it and they decide we don't need it. Cause raven is so busy right? All the promotion we did online for years was nothing but free promotion for them. I am done supporting someone who just doesn't care about her projects. I wish all the fans well and as for me, I have finally moved on…

It turns out the 'clean cut' Alex kid who was hired to keep an eye out for Amy Winehouse is a crackhead too!

The British media reports that Alex was caught smoking crack on tape, and when Wino's management team caught wind of it, they fired him.

Wino probably corrupted him!!!!!

An insider revealed, "There was no mistaking from looking at the film that he was taking drugs. It was a shock to everyone…The boss went mental and Alex was asked to resign. The last thing Amy needs hanging around her are more users. Alex was supposed to help her and he crossed the line. He had to go."

Too bad Wino's management can't make her cracked out friends disappear too!

Actor's Strike Half Averted



Hollywood's second-largest actor's union, AFTRA, announced Wednesday that it has hammered out a tentative deal with the mean media moguls (aka the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers) on a three-year primetime TV contract.

The new deal means an increase in pay and benefits for AFTRA-covered shows.

And, considerable gains were also made in the area of New Media.

Like the WGA and DGA deals cut earlier this year, the AFTRA agreement grants the union jurisdiction for programs produced for the Internet and other New Media, and states that producers must seek the consent of AFTRA members before using clips from traditional TV shows for non-promotional uses.

No gains, however, were made in DVD residuals.

Everyone's full attention will now be on the big actor's union, SAG, and whether it can successfully agree upon a new contract when it resumes negotiations with the studio suits on Wednesday.

It is widely believed that AFTRA's ability to reach an agreement on new contract terms will put more pressure on SAG to make a deal and avert another crippling strike.

TV producers can make a show about anything!

According to new reports, T.I. is turning his legal drama into an eight-episode MTV reality show.

Cameras will follow the rapper through many of his 1,000 hours of community service leading up to his yearlong prison sentence.

Shooting starts this summer.

T.I. begins serving his sentence - on gun charges - in early 2009, and MTV will air the series shortly after that.

Hey, he needs money to pay off his legal bills.

Kirsten Reveals the Not-So-Good Things That Led to Rehab

Kirsten Dunst was spotted outside her trailer over the weekend as she and Ryan Gosling continued to film All Good Things in NYC. While she was out of period costume for the moment, she wasn't ready to put aside her personal drama. Kirsten opened up to E! about her trip to rehab earlier this year — and she also put to rest the rumors that she and Ryan are more than just costars. Here's more:



* On why she went to rehab: "I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse. I went there for depression."

* On making the decision to go: "It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge."

* On clearing up the Ryan Gosling rumors: "I am not dating Ryan Gosling!"

It's a rare moment of openness from the usually private actress, but we're happy that Kirsten seems to be in a good place about her trip to rehab and her current health. Hopefully things are starting to look up for her.

Last week Penelope Cruz showed off Vicky Cristina Barcelona with Woody Allen by her side, but starting Monday it was back to playing Pedro Almodovar's muse in Spain. She looked fabulous and chic in her sundresses and shades as she chatted with the director between takes of Broken Embraces. Apparently Penelope and Pedro have their pick of beautiful Spanish landscapes to shoot in, but pretty Penelope is still sure to stand out in her surroundings.

The Affleck Boys Are Back, Baby, Back

Ben Affleck and his brother Casey headed to London today to pose together for a photocall for Gone Baby Gone. The movie came out in the states last year, but the release was held in the UK after the tragic disappearance of Madeleine McCann last May. While the subject matter is definitely heavy, we're hoping that audiences will still check out the film overseas, since those Affleck boys do pretty great things when they combine their talents.

Kate and Anne Are Having a Hair-Raising Experience

Kate Hudson has been running around the set of Bride Wars sporting blue hair, but yesterday it was Anne Hathaway who got to rock a silly hairstyle. They looked very chummy practicing a few scenes from the movie before putting on their trench coats to start filming. We've heard that Kate and Anne have had some real-life drama while working together, but judging from these giggly photos, the girls are better actors than we thought.

LL Keeps Smiling While Her Parents Keep Blabbing

Lindsay Lohan looked happy to be back with her family in NYC last night after her trip to Cannes with Samantha. The photos from her trip turned a few heads, since she and Samantha were looking particularly cozy, and yesterday we were hearing that Michael basically confirmed they are an item. In true dramatic Lohan family fashion, Michael is already claiming that he was misquoted and that his comments were referring to Dina, not Lindsay. All the banter is just par for the course with the Lohans these days, and to be honest, we'd rather hear more about that adorable puppy in Lindsay's arms.

Blake Hits the Beach, Leaves Serena in NYC

Guess whose newest movie role is looking very different from the one she plays on TV? Blake Lively went from playing an Upper East Side princess on Gossip Girl to a more sulky and way less fashionable character on the set of her new film, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee in Connecticut yesterday. We’re so used to seeing Blake in a droolworthy wardrobe from her show and when casually strolling the city with Penn that she is almost unrecognizable in these pictures. It will be interesting to see her act in a different role, but we'll have to wait a while before this movie hits theaters.

Audrina: Did She or Didn't She Get a Boob Job?

Audrina Patridge did some shopping yesterday in a low cut dress that showed off her assets. We admit that lately we can't help but notice that her chest is looking a little bigger than usual, especially when we compared her beach body last Summer to this year's bikini shots. Audrina has already made it clear that she's not interested in discussing the subject, but tell us — do you think she got a boob job?

Its stars got a thunderous reception outside Radio City Music Hall from adoring fans - many of whom were dressed to the nines while screaming and jumping at the sight of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). "The best part about making the movie was being back with the women on the set all day every day, and the best part about tonight is being here with you and being with the fans," Parker said. As she spoke, she lifted her arms toward the crowd on the sidewalk - getting grown women to scream like teenage girls. The "Sex" quartet outshone other formidable star power at the event, including Jerry Seinfeld, Matthew Broderick (SJP's hubby), Edie Falco and Ashley Olsen, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, designer Donna Karan and singers Lil' Kim, Mary J. Everyone looked great ... SJP decided to leave the funky hats at home, Fergie classed it up with her cute little dress, Lil' Kim penciled in her eyebrows just so -- it was a night of magic. I am a bit surprised to see the Project Runway Season 4 winner Christian Siriano wore the same gold lame top that he has been wearing in all of his recent red carpet appearances. I can understand if a designer wants to wear a singular looking outfit as his signature look (think Roberto Cavalli) but I'm not a fan of the gold blouse -- it doesn't even have a ruffled fur collar or anything!

OY! I am so excited for the debut of SaTC this week! I can hardly stand it. It really feels like the Sex and the City Movie is the Indiana Jones for the ladies and the gays. I wouldn't be surprised if housewives all around the country started handing over their kiddies to the nannies OR their mannies in order to get in line for the first movie showings. We're just 2 days away from the movie's release, y'all! Holla!!!!

Geri Halliwell, in what can only be assumed as a pretty desperate attempt to either A.) make money, B.) gain a little attention or C.) keep up with the other celebrity Joneses, has allowed Hello! magazine to feature a full color photospread of her daughter Bluebell Madonna's second birthday party. Here are a few very cute, yet obvs staged photos from Bluebell's Alice In Wonderland-themed birthday party as featured in the new issue of Hello!:



Every little girl deserves a magical birthday. So when Geri Halliwell's daughter Bluebell turned two, the Spice Girl marked the occasion with a fabulous Alice In Wonderland-themed bash, shared exclusively with HELLO! magazine readers. The festivities, which took place in a 16th-century mansion, featured lop-eared bunnies, enormous stuffed toys, and white-horse chess pieces. And the guest of honour came dressed as a fairy princess - which to her adoring mum was quite appropriate. "She's my little fairy," enthuses the showbiz dynamo, adding: "It's like a magic wand was waved when she came into my life."

While some celebs go to great lengths to keep the paparazzi or any outside photographers away from their private family celebrations, it appears that Ginger is of the other ilk of celebs who is happy to invite publications (either for the attention or for the money or both) into their private celebrations in order to have those "private" moments featured in the media (in this case, on the cover of a magazine). While I don't particularly see anything wrong with this type of behavior, I do find it hypocritical that celebs invite this kind of scrutiny in some instances and then complain when they are scrutinized in other like instances. I just hope Geri understands that offering up her daughter's 2nd birthday party like this will, no doubt, tell the paps that it's open season on other similar family situations. Oh and Happy Birthday, Bluebell.

Takin' Full Advantage Of Those Memorial Day Sales

It looks like the couple is stocking up on soda, chips and other snacks perhaps in preparation for the coming of their unborn young'n. I imagine it's a special time in a young person's life when they find themselves on the brink of parenthood despite having yet to fully mature out of puberty. It brings a tear to my eye. It shant be long now ... pretty soon we'll be seeing pics of Casey-Lynn coming out of Wal-Mart with shopping carts full of diapers, baby formula and cheap beer -- after all, Casey has to cope with the loss of his youth somehow.

Ms. Montag called off her wedding last year but–SURPRISE!–she’s changed her mind.

Pete Wentz to Ashlee Simpson: Here’s a Lego Bee!



Pete Wentz has hired artist Nathan Sawaya to create a giant bumblebee for his new wife, Ashlee Simpson.

The “Lego Bee” measures 26″ x 47″ x 36″ and is made from about 18,000 standard Lego bricks. Here’s what Sawaya had to say about this pet project from Pete:

“I was commissioned to create a bee. Why a bee? Because it is romantic of course. In Hindu myth, Kama, the god of love, has a bow and arrows, and the bow string is made up of bees. In the ancient Greek world the bee symbolized the soul because they migrated in swarms. And the Roman god of love, Cupid, is often pictured with bees or being stung.

“I made this bee for a boy who wanted to give his girl a special wedding gift. They are a fun couple as evidenced by their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. And didn’t Alice think she saw a bee in “Through the Looking Glass?” (Incidentally, she thought they were bees, but they turned out to be elephants. Alice wasn’t the brightest child.)”

David Cook Album Set For Fall 2008 Release



Season seven American Idol champion David Cook has been signed to Simon Fuller’s 19 Recordings / RCA Records and is preparing to start recording his debut album, which is due for release in fall 2008.

“David Cook is an extraordinarily versatile and talented artist with an impressive sense of musicality,” says Tom Corson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, RCA Music Group. “He is a natural performer and a true star. We are thrilled to welcome him into our family.”

Cook, 25, will be recording his album over the summer while on the road with the American Idol’s Live tour. The tour kicks off on July 1st in Glendale, AZ and wraps on September 13th in Tulsa, OK.

“I am extremely happy to be signed by 19 Recordings / RCA Records. Signing this deal is truly a dream come true. I am looking forward to the recording process and creating a record. The support I have received from America has been overwhelming and I can’t wait to hopefully do right by them,” says Cook.

A Malawai court on Wednesday finally approved Madonna's adoption of little David.

She's his mommy - for good!

A lawyer for her Madgesty has released a statement, saying, "We are very happy with what the judge has ruled. It is a positive and beautiful judgment that will have an impact on Malawi's adoption laws."

The adoption has been very controversial, with critics accusing the government of skirting laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi, which has been badly hit by an AIDS epidemic that has left more than 1 million orphans.

Many people and groups opposed the adoption, but in the end, even David's biological father wanted Madonna to be able to legally care for the child.
