Your mind is like a stadium with the dome open… you have ZERO judgment when it comes to things that move you. When most people get the feeling they might like an idea, or a shirt, they run it through a series of filters; 'what should I think, given my personal attributes?' 'How does this read?' It's Her Birthday And She'll Cry!



Lindsay's big Moroccan-themed 22nd birthday bash has been called off, sources reveal exclusively to Perez.

The recovering addict, who was in rehab three times last year, had contracted businessman Mike Heller's Talent Resources company to secure corporate sponsorship for her soiree.

They even started this website to try and lure brands to commit cash.

But, now, Heller tells us that because Lindsay will be "in production on a movie" they "can't commit to a specific date" so that big birthday bash is off.

Sources, however, tell us that Lohan has been pushed by her management and publicity team to cancel the party because of all the recent bad press surrounding her.

Does she ever have GOOD press???

Sources tell us they were also having some trouble getting corporate brands onboard.

Can't blame 'em!

We're also told that Lindsay will have a much smaller birthday party and that no sponsors will be involved.

She will have to pay for it all herself.

Hockey player Luc Bourdon was killed Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle struck a tractor-trailer in northern New Brunswick, Canada.

Bourdon played for the Vancouver Canucks and was the first round draft pick for the team.

He was only 21-years old.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Michael Jackson wasn't the only member of the strange family to emerge last week for designer Christian Audigier's 50th Birthday celebration ... his children Prince Michael, Paris Michael Katherine and Prince Michael Jackson, II (better known as Blanket) also emerged from hiding to show their faces in public. Here is a pic of the latest generation of the Jacksons making a rare appearance at a Las Vegas bookstore last week while their odd father Michael Jackson shopping nearby in the music section of the store hidden behind scarves covering his face:



They appear to be absolutely normal, and utterly unremarkable. There is nothing about the girl, with her flowing brown hair and fine, pretty features, or her two handsome brothers which would merit a second glance. But, on closer inspection, there is perhaps just something in the way which the older of the two boys is looking, in eager glee at his surroundings which lets you know that he is enjoying a moment of rare freedom. For these are the rarely seen children of Michael Jackson ... Last week ... Prince, Paris and Prince Michael were pictured visiting a Las Vegas bookstore. They browsed through children's books, while their father stayed in the music section. He was, as usual, covered up with a scarf and hood. The resemblance between Prince and Paris, the older two, is striking - both have the same colouring and delicate bone structure. Six-year-old Prince Michael - known as "Blanket" - is much darker than his two older siblings. It was Blanket, or course, who was dangled off a hotel balcony as a newborn by his father, who later said: "He enjoyed it. He started to respond by going 'eeee'." So what of these three motherless children? What is the truth about their extraordinary lives? And what kind of a father is Michael Jackson - if he is indeed their father at all? Those close to Jackson say he started a family in an effort to banish the demons of his own childhood ... Others ... insist that the children are very happy. Bryan Monroe, of Ebony magazine, met Jackson and his youngest child last year, and said: "Blanket was not masked - he just walked into the hotel room and shook hands. He sat down and watched cartoons. I was struck by the father-son relationship that appeared to be very authentic." Is Jackson, though, their biological father? He has always insisted that he is, even though Rowe has remarked: "Michael knows the truth. He has to come clean." Their fair skins would seem to back her up, but Professor Steve Jones, an expert in genetics from UCL, says it is possible that they are indeed his biological offspring. He said: "If Michael Jackson had, say 500 children with Debbie Rowe, you would expect some of them to be very white and some to be very dark. On average, they should be somewhere in between, and that is what you have here." Whatever the truth, the three of them are his life.

It is hard to determine if Jacko really is the father of these children ... they don't really look like him ... at all. Had they been born with penciled in eyebrows and plastic noses I think it would be much easier to believe his paternity. Well, no matter where these kiddies came from, they are in his care now and one can only hope that they can manage to live happy lives ... at least they're allowed to go out in public without having to wear masks, that's progress.

Potter Fans, Rejoice! A Sorta Prequel Is On The Way

JK Rowling has announced on her official website that she will be auctioning off an 8 0 0-page short story which kinda sorta is a prequel to the first Harry Potter book and will benefit the English PEN and the Dyslexia Action organizations. Because this short-story, or prologue if you will, is bound to fetch an exorbitant sum at auction, it will be published in a collection of short stories later on in the year. Waterstones Charity Auction

A few months ago a number of authors were invited to handwrite cards for auction by Waterstones, on June 1 0, all proceeds to go to English PEN, the writers' association, and the Dyslexia Society.

After playing around with a number of different ideas I decided to write a short (for me!) excerpt from a prequel to the Potter series. It is about 8 0 0 words long and the action takes place around 3 years before Harry is born.

Although I did feel a bit like a relapsing addict as I sat down to write - the words poured from my pen with frightening ease - I am NOT working on a prequel. Indeed, I've written that clearly at the bottom of the card itself. I just thought that this was the best way to make money for two extremely worthwhile charities.

The good news for Potter fans who will not be able to bid at the auction is that you will be able to read the short story (along with amazing contributions from Doris Lessing, Margaret Atwood, Tom Stoppard, Irvine Welsh, Sebastian Faulks, Axel Scheffler, Lauren Child, Nick Hornby, Neil Gaiman, Lisa Appignanesi, Richard Ford, and Michael Rosen) by purchasing a book of facsimiles, which will be available in August. The proceeds from this book, too, will go to the charities.

I'm sure there are a great number of Harry Potter fans salivating at the notion of the release of another 0 words from the pen of JK Rowling. Whether it is presented as a prologue or a prequel to the wildly successful Harry Potter saga, I'm sure it's gonna fly of the shelves as if it were just the latest installment. The woman can basically print her own money at this point. I'm just happy that kids, once again, have a book to look forward to reading I'm even more thrilled that my fave contemporary author Neil Gaiman is included in this collection!

You Don't Mess With The Zohan Premieres

Adam Sandler, who was all gussied up in his favorite jeans, t-shirt and baseball cap, was joined by some friends and colleagues at the LA premiere of his new movie You Don't Mess with the Zohan at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA last night ... here are a few pics from the red carpet:

First things first ... I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this movie since the first time I saw the trailer in movie theaters. Adam Sandler films are generally hit or miss (usually miss) but everything that I've seen from this movie thus far looks outrageously funny. Second, I am geeked beyond belief that Charlotte Rae (Mrs. Garrett on Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life) is featured in the film as Mrs. Greenhouse. Now, I have no idea how much of the movie she will appear in but I'd happily pay the $12 bucks just to catch a glimpse of her. Clearly, this movie has got it all ... what more could you ask for? Zohan opens in theaters on June 6.

Ms. Kunis‘ upcoming movie, Max Payne, is in post-production and is slated for an October 17th opening. Mila plays Mona Sax, an assassin looking to avenge her sister’s murder.

Interesting fact about Mila is that she is heterochromatic with two different eye colors. One eye is blue while the other is hazel! This is due to necessary injections into her eye to treat her glaucoma condition.

Alicia Keys Learns Lessons in Love



Sweet songbird Alicia Keys graces the July 2008 cover of Seventeen magazine, on newsstands June 3rd. The singer-songwriter opened up to the mag about her major mistakes, lost loves and how she’s finally following her heart.

On her current friendships: “I don’t have a ton of friends. That’s too much work. So most of my friends are girls I’ve known for years. I mean we were 4 years old together, or we met each other in high school, or junior high school, so I’ve known them for a long time. Most of them are great people and don’t even look at me like ‘Alicia Keys’ – they are my great, wonderful sisters.”

On what she’s learned about love and dating: “I wouldn’t deal with a guy who didn’t know how to make me feel really loved. Rainn Wilson Transforms Into a Professor



The Office’s Rainn Wilson is set to join the cast of Transformers 2, playing a college professor in the movie.

Rainn aka Dwight Schrute revealed the news to MTV News during an MTV Sneak Peek Week screening of his new film The Rocker.

Transformers 2 will also star Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson.

“A professor that turns into a car that turns into a robot,” Rainn laughed, as he described his character in the movie.

Mary-Kate Is Mad For a Guy in Plaid

Mary-Kate Olsen broke out her favorite fur last Friday to take in a Lakers game with a couple friends and one very plaid-clad gentleman. The Lakers defeated the Spurs that night, but they weren't the only winners. It looks like Mary-Kate is having some success of her own in the love department since she and her mystery man entered the arena arm in arm. This isn't the first time Mary-Kate has mixed love and sports, but hopefully this time around she'll have a little more luck.

Lindsay Lohan Meets the Parent

After spending Tuesday night with her family in NYC, Lindsay Lohan was back to doing what she does best: shopping. Yesterday she was joined by her sister, Samantha Ronson, and Samantha's mother, the British socialite Ann Dexter-Jones. LL's family thinks highly of Samantha, so hopefully she and Ann had a little time to bond as well. While the girls have been overly affectionate, some of you say that is all normal behavior amongst BFFs. Of course, it's not all play for Lindsay since she has some new music coming out. Ne-Yo wrote a song on her upcoming album and said that, "She did a ridiculously fabulous job. . . I think the world is gonna be surprised." Some of her past tunes are catchy so we're excited to see how this one turns out.

Heidi and Spencer Are Ready for Marriage! Who's Excited?

Stop us if you've heard this one before — Heidi Montag told Us Weekly that she's ready to settle down and marry Spencer Pratt! Apparently she got re-inspired to plan a wedding during a vacation in Mexico where she read Bible passages to Spencer about "honoring thy wife." Perhaps they were already making preparations during their shopping trip in LA yesterday. With these two it's always hard to tell what's fact from fiction, but with the next season of The Hills coming up in August, we'll probably get wind of whether or not they're going to tie the knot for real this time.

It was just another day in the life of Britney Spears, as she headed to a meeting with her manager before working out at Bally's again yesterday. Things have been fairly quiet on the Brit front this week, but as usual there is always a new rumor about the pop star. From Vegas comeback shows to now maybe starring roles on Broadway, it seems as if Britney has something up her sleeve. There must be a reason she's working hard to get back in shape, but until her team announces it, we'll hold off on the thought of buying tickets to see Britney in a poodle skirt . . . and just to add to the excitement today, TMZ is now reporting the latest rumor is a Britney TV show.

Matt Damon and a Mustache Don't Go Well Together

So much for the sexiest man alive. Matt Damon showed that he can look like a pudgy, midwest corporate exec at some huge company, and it ain't pretty. The usually cute in that baby-faced sort of way actor was not looking his finest on the set of The Informant in LA yesterday. Matt was his normal self in Miami last weekend, but it's amazing how Hollywood can transform a man into looking his best or, in Matt's case, his least flattering look. Seriously, can we have the old Matt back now please?

Ben Lets Casey Have the Spotlight

A very tan Ben Affleck and his brother changed from one set of suit jackets into another for an Esquire dinner party in Casey's honor in London last night. The boys are overseas doing a UK promotional tour of Gone Baby Gone and Ben's protective pose with Casey shows how close these two really are. We have a feeling the boys spend plenty of time goofing around with each other, but in a recent interview, Ben made it clear that it was all business on the set. He told the Daily Mail:



My brother Casey [who stars as a private detective] isn't in the movie because of who he is. Nobody who sees the film could possibly think that. It was my job to help Casey flourish. I knew that he would be great and that he was going to surprise people. When you are working with your brother, there is always the risk that the discussions could degenerate [into rows]. But we both knew we had to take it seriously.

Right from the start, Ben has assured us that Casey's role in the film was more than just a favor but the fact that he's still driving the point home shows that a big brother's work is never really done.

90210 Spin-Off Star: "There Are Already Romances On Set"



Actor Ryan Eggold says "the chemistry so far is fantastic" among his co-stars of The CW's new 90210 spin-off – and there's even an on-set romance.

"We may get sick of each other, but we haven't yet," the actor told Us at the premiere of The Promotion in L.A. Wednesday.

"Already friendships [are] forming and it's a really good group of very excited people," he said.

Asked if he is dating, Eggold told Us: "Single and I will tell you that there are already romances on set."

Any on-set love may heat up when the cast starts shooting in June.

"There is no set yet so I have no idea what the hell's going to happen a year from now," he added.

But Eggold (who plays Ryan Matthews, an English teacher at West Beverly High) was coy when pressed if he's dating a cast-mate.

"That I can't say," he said. "That's how it works. I don't know who made up the rules. "

Steven Tyler: I Went to Rehab for Foot Surgery



Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler says he checked into to a rehab facility earlier this month to recover from foot surgeries to repair problems caused by his stage moves.

"The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler says in a statement released Thursday. "The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, Aerosmith has no plans to stop rocking. There's a new album to record, then another tour."

According to the statement, Tyler was treated at the center after series of surgeries and post-operative physical therapy "to correct long-time foot injuries resulting from his trademark athletic performance onstage."

The statement follows reports the 60-year-old singer was being treated instead for substance abuse.

Zac Hanson and His Wife Have a Boy!



Zac Hanson and his wife Kate welcomed a son, John Ira Shepherd Hanson, on Tuesday in Tulsa, the musician tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The baby boy, who will go by the name Shepherd, weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz. "I am so overjoyed," the proud papa, 22, tells PEOPLE. "There is not an audience or concert that could ever stand up to the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time."

New mom Kate, 24, is equally happy, saying, "Shepherd is the most wonderful gift we could ever receive. We're already enjoying every second of this great adventure."

Though Shepherd is only a day old, he's already got a built-in playgroup: Cousins Ezra, 5, Penelope, 3, and River, 20 months (middle Hanson brother Taylor and his wife Natalie's children) and Everett, 1 (eldest Hanson brother Isaac, and his wife Nikki's son).

But Shepherd won't be the baby of the family for long: Isaac and Nikki will welcome their second child next month.

"It will be really fun to see [the] little ones grow up together," Zac told PEOPLE in November. "I know watching them is going to inspire a lot of music."

Melissa Joan Hart Begins Potty Training Adventure



Melissa Joan Hart has such a potty mouth. And that's a good thing!

The former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star is ready to begin potty training her eldest son, Mason, 2. And, in cooperation with Pull-Ups training pants, she'll be keeping an online diary of the high-fives and (soggy) lows.

"I've been watching DVDs ... and meeting with experts and trying to figure out the potty training, but it really is different for every single kid," Hart told PEOPLE at The Playroom's First Anniversary benefiting the organization Friends of the Family on Wednesday in L.A. "You have to take what works for you and leave the rest behind."

"When Mason first showed signs that he was ready to use the potty, my husband and I were really excited and – more than anything – proud," Hart, who's married to musician Mark Wilkerson, said in a statement. "Potty training is one of the first times I'll be able to act as a teacher to my son, and that adds a little pressure."

Also adding pressure, she revealed to PEOPLE, is Mason's need for post-potty celebration. "Normally if you do a high five with a kid, that should be enough of 'hey, you went on the potty! High five!' but Mason likes lots of celebration, it has to be all about him, so that's his thing," she said. "What works as a reward? Sticker, stamps, candy ... We use Hot Wheels cars, but Hot Wheels only worked for a week and then we had to go back to candy and now we're at stickers."

The 32-year-old actress – who gave birth to Braydon Hart Wilkerson in March – also talked about the joys of having two boys. "Mason has been great – every time he sees the baby he's always like, 'Baby's so cute,' and has all these sweet things to say. He always wants to hold him and feed him."

Maybe she'll even have help on the next potty-training round!

Pal: Sarah 'Stayed True to Herself' During Relationship



Dating one of Hollywood's biggest stars didn't change George Clooney's down-to-earth ex Sarah Larson, a source close to her tells PEOPLE.

"She's a beautiful, amazing, compassionate human being who was thrown overnight into the middle of the media monster and has done an amazing job at staying true to herself and her family and friends," the friend says.

On Wednesday sources close to the couple verified that the pair, who dated for about a year, had parted paths.

"Yes, it's confirmed," one source says. "They've split."

Asked about the report, Clooney’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, would only say: "We do not comment on George's personal life."

Clooney, 47, and the onetime Fear Factor winner, 29, came out as a couple at the Venice and Deauville film festivals in September 2007. That same month, Larson suffered a broken foot when the two were injured in a motorcycle accident in Weehawken, N.J.

Larson was the first girlfriend to accompany Clooney to the Oscars, stoking rumors of an impending engagement that Clooney quickly shot down.

No word yet on who, if anyone, Clooney will be bringing to the premiere of his next project, the Coen brothers movie Burn After Reading, co-starring pal Brad Pitt, which is due out in September.

Usher: 'The Challenge Is Having It All'



Usher has been no stranger to the rumor mill in the last several years, and the singer is finally opening up about his controversial marriage, fatherhood and his decision to let his mother go as his manager days before Mother's Day 2007 in the July issue of Vibe.

"My mother is an aggressive person. She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well," the Grammy winner tells the magazine in its July cover story.

But Usher, 29, refuses to characterize the split with Jonnetta Patton after 15 years of managing him as a firing. Instead, he says he paid her "the ultimate compliment – to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation. There was a conversation. I didn't write her a letter or pink slip her."

Patton was not in attendance when Usher married former stylist Tameka Foster, 38, last August. "I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn't really embrace my situation," he admits.

Yet the singer says that marriage and the birth of son Usher Raymond V in November have boosted his confidence.

"The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife," Usher tells Vibe. "And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters. … These are the days of my son's life, these first three years. I want to be there. The challenge is having it all."

Lindsay & Samantha's Families Bond in N.Y.C.



Lindsay Lohan and deejay Samantha Ronson's relationship appears to be a family affair.

The duo – who are "together," a source says in the new issue of PEOPLE – were spotted Wednesday afternoon lunching with Ronson's writer-mom, Ann Dexter-Jones and Lohan's sister Ali, 14, at the Italian restaurant Gino on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Although Lindsay, 21, ate little of her veal parmesan, says a source, Dexter-Jones insisted the group indulge in dessert: "Cheesecake – with four forks!" she cheerily told the waiter, though Ronson, 30, opted for lemon sorbet.

Throughout the meal, the group engaged in a spirited session of girl talk, the source adds. And when the foursome left Gino's the wait staff collectively chanted, "Ciao, bella!, Ciao bella!"

While Lohan matriarch Dina, who's currently starring in E!'s Living Lohan with Ali, wasn't spotted, she told PEOPLE, "I'm friends with [Samantha's] mom. She's raised some extremely talented kids. It's a talented family." Dina has also offered Samantha praise, telling PEOPLE she's a "sweetheart" and "true friend" to Lindsay.

Later that evening, Ronson spun at a Women of Fashion party on the rooftop of the Peninsula Hotel, while her avid sidekick Lohan remained in the hotel's lobby.

Meanwhile, a source tells PEOPLE that Lohan is due back in L.A. this week to start filming a movie.

Spears Still Can't 'Meaningfully' Take Part in Legal Matters



Four months after her forced stay at a psychiatric facility, Britney Spears is still unable to participate "in any meaningful way" in legal proceedings and may need further tests, a court commissioner presiding over Spears's conservatorship said Thursday.

Spears's doctor has made a "differential diagnosis" and "wants to do additional testing in the not-too-distant future – something we will need to address in June," L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said in court after a private, 90-minute discussion with lawyers.

For now, Spears can't take part in the "litigation process or in discovery proceedings," Goetz said.

Attorneys did not reveal what was discussed in chambers. No Spears family members were present at the hearing, and Goetz made no rulings in open court other than to say that she is expecting a business plan for Spears to be filed by attorneys by June 13.

Spears's affairs are being handled by her father, Jamie, and attorney Andrew Wallet.

50 Cent Gets His MTV



50 Cent is making business sense.

The rap superstar is, according to Variety, partnering with MTV for a new reality series aiming to discover the next big street-smart entrepreneur.

The project, which does not yet have a title, is described as a hip-hop spin on The Apprentice and will follow 16 contestants who shack up together and compete in weekly challenges to see who's got the savviest business instincts. Fiddy picks 'em off one by one.

The cable network has ordered eight episodes, but there's no word yet on a premiere date.

Fiddy's show is the latest hip-hop flavored reality offering from MTV, joining such mainstays as Sean Combs' Making the Band and Xzibit's Pimp My Ride.

The 50 Cent show is one of several newcomers to MTV's roster, joining Making the Rock Band; Buzzin', an Entourage-esque series set in the music biz and focusing on newcomer Shwayze and rocker Cisco Adler; and an untitled reality show following hip-hopster T.I. as he logs some community service before reporting to prison.

Spittin' Mad! Scotland Yard Charges Naomi Campbell



Naomi Campbell is used to hurling things at others. Now she's getting something thrown back at her: the book.

The arrest-prone supermodel has been formally charged with six counts, including assaulting two police officers, as a result of last month's terminal spit-take at Heathrow Airport.

The 38-year-old was booked on the charges while answering bail at the Heathrow Airport police station at 11:30 this morning. She remained at the station for just a half hour.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Campbell has been charged with three counts of assaulting a constable; one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress; and two counts of using threatening, abusive words or behavior toward cabin crew.

Campbell's attorney, Simon Nicholls, said his client was "bitterly disappointed" to learn that the situation could not be resolved outside of court.

"She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously."

Campbell is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court June 20.

If found guilty, her assault charges carry a maximum sentence of six months in prison and a fine of up to nearly $10,000, while her disorderly conduct charge could set her back another $5,000. The threat charges have a maximum penalty of $2,000.

The model, decked out in a dark pinstripe suit and donning a requisite pair of shades, avoided speaking to journalists on her way in and out of the police station.

The charges themselves stem from an incident that took place at Heathrow's newly opened and trouble-plagued Terminal 5 on April 3, when a verbal scuffle kicked off between Campbell and British Airways crew members when one of her bags reportedly went missing.

Airport police were called over to suppress the scene, and Campbell unexpectedly expectorated at one of the officers, leading the airline to refuse her service.

Michael Bay Boards Ouija Flick



Michael Bay sees dead people.

The Armageddon director is planning to summon up a feature film based on Hasbro's supernatural Ouija board game.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Bay and scribe David Berenbaum (Elf) have set up the movie at Universal as part of the studio's whopping six-year megadeal with the toy giant.

No word yet on the Ouija, but we're asking the spirits to make sure the flick won't take its cues from Tawny Kitaen's 1986 campy thriller Witchboard.

Hasbro conjured up its take on the legendary divination method in 1966 and has since sold millions of the board game.

Bay's production company, Platinum Dunes, has become a big player in the horror genre, with recent remakes of The Amityville Horror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hitcher. Bay's redo of Friday the 13th is currently shooting for a 2009 release.

Additional projects in the pipeline include a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and an updated version of Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Terminator Loads Up on Some Garbage



Some cyborgs are only happy when it rains.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is bringing aboard Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson as a regular next season.

The Scottish singer will play the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company that may be a precursor to the humanity-hating Skynet...and possibly a target for Sarah Connor's merry band of terminator hunters. The casting was first sniffed out by the Hollywood Reporter.

The second season of the Fox sci-fi series will see the return of Lena Headey (Sarah Connor), Thomas Dekker (John Connor), Summer Glau (terminator Cameron), Richard T. Jones (FBI Special Agent James Ellison) and Brian Austin Green (Derek Reese).

Manson should be plenty busy in the coming months. Garbage has been working on a follow-up to 2005's Bleed Like Me that the band hopes to release later this year.

Kanye in Control of Mama's Estate



Kanye West is getting his late mother's affairs in order.

Six months after the sudden death of Donda West, a California judge today signed off on the rapper's request to assume control of her estate.

In court documents filed April 18 in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by E! News, the rapper requested that he and business manager Shawn Gee be designated coexecutors of Donda's assets, valued at $150,000.

The elder West died without having a will. Per state law, her son was named her sole heir.

Meanwhile, California lawmakers are considering new regulations in the wake of Donda West's death to protect patients from potentially dangerous nip/tuck procedures.

Donda West died Nov. 10 after suffering complications from liposuction and breast reduction the day before. The coroner's report noted that she had serious blockages in two arteries and "multiple postoperative factors" as a result of the surgery, but ruled the final manner of her death inconclusive.

Yolanda Anderson, Donda's niece and Kanye's cousin, has lobbied legislators to introduce a bill requiring physical examinations before all cosmetic procedures.

Anderson says her aunt did not receive one before Dr. Jan Adams performed the operation. While the surgeon did thoroughly question her, other doctors who had earlier seen West had refused to operate, citing a risk of heart attack.

Liv Tyler's Son and the City



If you’re looking for Liv Tyler to spill all about her split from hubby Royston Langdon or reports that papa Steven Tyler’s doing a stint in rehab in the new issue of Cookie magazine, no dice.

One thing Tyler can’t talk enough about, however, is her and Langdon’s three-and-a-half year-old son, Milo...

The little one travels with her when work takes her out of their hometown of New York City. "We go somewhere for three months at a time, and we make friends and get to see a whole new place," says Tyler, who costars alongside Edward Norton in the soon-to-be released Hulk flick. "It's very special, in a way."

To make life even more special, Tyler has considered moving out of the Big Apple and to the country. "I'd love for him to have pets and chickens to take care of," she says. "And I want to give him all the tools to be the best man he can be. For me, so much of that has to do with being in nature and really using your hands when you're a kid."

Her own childhood wasn't what it seemed. As previously revealed, Liv didn't learn until her teen years that the Aerosmith rocker was her real dad. Mom Bebe Buell raised her to believe that musician Todd Rundgren was her other parent, but a teenage Tyler found out the truth when she asked why she and Steve's daughter Mia looked so much alike.

Tyler admits, "I'm still working through my issues, which I always will be."

Johnny Depp Takes Two MTV Movie Awards



The stars were out in full force for MTV's movie awards – and they made sure to get in plugs for their upcoming projects.

With the golden carpet rolled out, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden came hand-in-hand, talking fashion and her show about a quest for a BFF. Audrina Patridge debuted new bangs and talked about wrapping Blue Crush 2. And while Sarah Jessica Parker talked about the record-breaking weekend opening of her new movie Sex and the City, Brendan Fraser hijacked the microphone to plug The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Inside the awards show, host Mike Meyers interrupted his opening act (a spoof of the German film Wings of Desire) to plug his upcoming film The Love Guru. Charlize Theron joined costars Will Smith and Jason Bateman onstage to promo their upcoming film Hancock – and also hand out the award for best female performance to Ellen Page for Juno. Smith later picked up the award for best male performance, and reminisced about his first MTV appearance 20 years ago.

Seth Rogen and his Pineapple Express costar James Franco hit the stage to present best summer movie ... so far. Before handing the award to Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man, they pretended to smoke a joint onstage.

Johnny Depp took best comedic performance honors for his turn as Captain Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean and won best villain for Sweeney Todd. Zac Efron won for his breakthrough performance in Hairspray. Efron's date Vanessa Hudgens screamed and planted a big kiss on his cheek when his name was announced and he seemed truly surprised.

Viewers chose Transformers as the year's best hit, and star Megan Fox promised the sequel, which starts filming Monday according to director Michael Bay, will be "f---ing bada--."

Meanwhile one star made his way in without promoting anything: Tom Cruise was spotted making his way into the fest with Suri on his shoulders, and he later presented Adam Sandler with the MTV Generation Award.

Designer Yves Saint Laurent Has Died



Yves Saint Laurent, the most influential designer in French couture in the last 50 years, died Sunday evening in Paris at the age of 71.

Sources tell PEOPLE that the designer fell ill and entered a Paris hospital last week, reportedly slipping into a coma Wednesday evening. The reclusive designer has been in worsening health for months. Word of his condition began to travel when he failed to appear in Montreal for a museum retrospective which opened last Thursday.

In confirming Saint Laurent's death to French news chain LCI, the designer's longtime partner Pierre Berge said, the designer "knew that he had revolutionized fashion, that he had revolutionized the second half of the 20th century. His designs accompanied the evolution of women."

Born Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent, in Oran, Algeria, on Aug. 1, 1936, the fashion designer is known for his sleek haute couture as well as his ready to wear styles, both of which embodied the best of French sophistication.

Saint Laurent first rose to prominence at the age of 22 when he succeed Christian Dior on the latter's sudden death in 1957. Salvaging the designer's collection, he is credited with continuing the house's legacy as well as saving it from financial disaster.

Embroiderer Jacques Lesage, who worked with Saint Laurent for fifty years, beginning at Dior, said, "He invented everything. He reinvented everything."

Following brief service in the French military, Saint Laurent opened the YSL label with partner Berge and quickly revolutionized French fashion, becoming the embodiment of the '60s and '70s with emblematic items including pop art designs and "Le Smoking," an elegantly tailored feminine version of traditional men's tuxedo wear.

In 1983, he became the first living fashion designer to be honored by New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Long associated with muses Catherine Deneuve and Ines de la Fressange, Saint Laurent showed his last collection in January 2002 and has spent the past years involved with Foundation work.

Hollywood's On Fire!



Universal Studios is ablaze!

A big fire broke out early Sunday morning in the backlot and destroyed the iconic courthouse square set from Back to the Future, the King Kong exhibit and a video vault containing more than 40,000 videos and reels.

Almost 300 fire fighters worked to extinguish the flames.

A commercial shoot was going on in the backlot when the fire broke out.

The fire is under investigation.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured!

The pair hit up the 7th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Brittany Murphy's career is in a downward spiral!

The once promising young actress has not starred in a hit film since 2005's Sin City, a movie in which she was just a featured player.

Murphy has never been the lead in a box office success, and these days, industry insiders comment more on her erratic behavior and crazy husband than her career (or lack of one).

Adding insult to injury, Disney has just axed Brittany from their deal with her!

Back in 2006, the Mouse House announced that Murphy would be their new voice of Tinkerbell. They planned to use her for work on new Tink DVDs and much more.

Well, this past week, Disney revealed that Brittany was out and there would be a new voice for Tinkerbell, actress Mae Whitman.

No explanation was given for Murphy's "departure" - but, really, we don't need one!

Paying Tribute



According to reports, the family of Heath Ledger is planning to fly from Australia to New York for the world premiere of his last film, Batman: The Dark Knight.

Ledger is said to turn an inspired performance as The Joker in the movie.
