LaBeouf's Mom Talks: Shia's "Fine"




Shia LaBeouf's mother wants the world to know: The kid is all right.

In recovery, but all right.

Shayna LaBeouf told E! News that her 22-year-old action-star son remains at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after undergoing "extensive hand surgery" in the wake of his truck-flipping, DUI-inurring car crash.

"I'm at the hospital right now, he's doing fine," said Shayna, who has been keeping watch over her son since his wreck in the wee hours of Sunday.

Though she declined to speak specifically to his condition, the extremely emotional mother thanked the public for their concern over her son's well-being.

"Thank you, thank you," she said on the verge of tears.

While Shayna isn't talking about her son's state, LaBeouf's rep did, confirming Sunday afternoon that the Indiana Jones and Transformers star sustained injuries to his head, knee and, most severely of all, left hand.

LaBeouf is expected to be MIA from the Transformers 2 set for roughly one month while he recovers from the surgery.

The actor is due in court next month to face a misdemeanor DUI charge resulting from the accident.

Hanks Drops Suit Against Greek Wedding Parties




Some things just aren't worth fighting for after all.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have dropped their breach-of-contract lawsuit against three companies that put up part of the money to make My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which they had accused of hanging onto a bigger-than-fair share of the proceeds.

Production companies representing the powerhouse couple, coproducer Gary Goetzman and Wedding star Nia Vardalos, whom Hanks and Wilson teamed up with after catching her one-act play the culture-clash comedy was based on, sued Gold Circle Films, Big Wedding Productions and Vortex Pictures last August.

An attorney for the plaintiffs filed papers Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court requesting a dismissal "without prejudice," meaning they can choose to refile their complaint at a later date. There was no immediate comment from their camp as to why they decided to abandon ship.

Romijn is pregnant with twins, their rep confirms.

Romijn, 35, and O’Connell, 34, started dating four years ago and got hitched last July.

"They haven't told that many people," a source tells me. "Rebecca wanted to wait until she was done shooting Ugly Betty."

Romijn has been in New York City filming the hit ABC sitcom. As my scoopin' cohort Kristin Dos Santos reported in April, Romijn’s role as glamourati transsexual Alexis went from regular to recurring after executive producer Marco Pennette was fired.

The twins, due this winter, will be the first babies for the parents-to-be. The news was first reported by Us Weekly magazine.

Getting arrested for being a little rowdy in Walgreens is funny, but getting busted for a DUI after crashing into another car and rolling an F-150 is really, seriously not cool.

And that's how Shia LaBeouf went from being labeled the next Tom Hanks to possibly the next Lindsay Lohan. However, unlike Linds, he has two big movies coming up over the next year—this September's Eagle Eye and next summer's Transformers sequel—so he could bounce back with a sincere apology and some of that charm he already exhibited on The Late Show With David Letterman.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell may want to be on the lookout for a blast-from-the-past baby gift.

Romijn's ex-husband, John Stamos, is sending best wishes to the parents-to-be.

"I'm happy for all four of them," Stamos tells me exclusively. "I wish them the best."

Romijn and O'Connell announced this morning that the Ugly Betty beauty is pregnant with twins.

Stamos and Romijn split in 2004 after five years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized about a year later.

Seacrest's Freak Accident!



Ryan Seacrest was bit by a shark this past weekend. For real!

Thankfully, the accident was nothing too serious.

We're told that the Idol host was at a nearby beach in the L.A. area when he was bit by a baby shark on his foot.

The sea creature even left a little tooth behind as a souvenir.

Thankfully, the 3rd Rock From the Sun alum appeared healthier and more normal as she was caught out for a stroll in NYC with her pooch on Sunday.

Johnston lost an astonishing 60 pounds after suffering a burst ulcer that left her in the hospital for weeks.

How Low Can She Go?



Sources claim that Denise Richards dragged Charlie Sheen into court for an emergency child custody hearing to drive ratings for her reality show.

An insider reportedly said, "She thinks a court battle would be good for ratings so she wants all overnight visits with the girls ceased, and monitored visits with her nanny. She invited the media circus to the hearing and even wanted reporters in the judge's chambers - which wasn't allowed. It's ridiculous."

Denise apparently insinuated in court that Charlie was molesting their two daughters during the hearing.

That's not something to joke about!!!!!

Another source reports Sheen is livid and "out to prove Denise's lack of veracity and sue her in civil court for defamation.

Then he'll sue for child custody.

What kind of mother would use her children in such a way?

Molestation is a serious matter.

Spencer Taylor, a 20 year old from Michigan, was arrested Sunday morning.

His crime?

He was allegedly trying to steal Batman posters, as well as other collectibles, from a movie theater nearby.

And even better, he went dressed at the Joker!

Taylor, an apparent Dark Knight fan, went to the Three Rivers Cinema to steal the items.

The Joker wannabe was charged with felony larceny and malicious destruction of property.

He was booked and photographed with and without the makeup for his mug shots.

Why so serious?????

Frasier Hospitalized Again



Kelsey Grammer has been hospitalized in New York.

Thankfully, though, it's nothing too serious.

The Frasier actor just has a heart attack in June!

His mouthpiece says, “Kelsey felt faint last night so he went to the hospital to have things checked out. They are altering his medications."

The actor formerly known as Frasier is expected to be released Tuesday.

Looks like supermodel Gisele Bündchen is getting ‘screwed’ by the shitty economy.

According to a new report, Gisele has basically put her NYC-West Village penthouse on clearence. She’s asking $5.9 million for the penthouse, more than half of her original asking price of$10.9 million.

We don’t feel too bad, though. She bought the pad for $3 million in 2002. If she sells it for the reduced rate she’s still making almost $3 million in profit!

Gisele’s BF, Tom Brady, has his Manhattan digs up for sale as well.

He listed his roughly 3,000-square-foot home in the fancy Time Warner center at $18.29 million, up about 30% from what he paid.

Hmmm. Makes you wonder.

Mark McGrath is OUT as the host of TV's Extra.

The rocker turned celeb news show host is being replaced by none other than Mario Lopez.

Shit, Slater has probably been campaigning for the job since he joined Extra part-time in 2007.

When the show returns for its 15th season next month, co-host Dayna Devon is also getting a DEMOTION - she will remain on as "a special correspondent."

Lots of changes being made!

A rep for the show says, "[Mario Lopez] has established himself as a highly engaging, likeable and sought-after host and personality."

Hey, at least McGrath can fall back on his band, Sugar Ray.

The Good and The Bad



The bad news first.

Crackhead Amy Winehouse was rushed via ambulance to the emergency room in London on Monday night.

The good news: she's not dead!

That's the scene outside her house as the singer was cloaked from the paparazzi on her way to the ambulance.

Wino was hospitalized just weeks ago for early stages emphysema.

Hopefully this stint in the E.R. is related to that!

Hulk: "Linda's Out To Hurt Me!"



Poor Hogans.

The divorce case seems to be taking it's toll on everyone.

Hulk Hogan has even said he considers Linda to be his worse opponent ever!

And we guess after 23 years of marriage it must be tough to split, especially when your wife hates your guts and is banging a 19 year old.

Hulk says, “Without a doubt, this one is the most formidable opponent I’ve ever run into. You talk about dirty tricks: Brass knuckles, steel knuckles, cheap shots, tripping people up. I’ve never seen anybody in the wrestling business that has more dirty tricks than she does!"

He adds, "I guess I taught her well.”

Linda's going after Hulk, hard.

She's accused him of abuse and even of "causing her anxiety and fear for her safety at all times." An accusation Hulk's lawyer says is purely fictional.

With their son Nick in jail, the only one left to deal with the crazy parents is Brooke.

And even she thinks her mom is crazy!

So much so that she's living with her dad and isn't even on speaking terms with crazy Linda.

The family should just settle it all….in the wrestling ring!

That Much Closer To Marriage



It looks like things are getting very very serious between lovebirds Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. Especially since they've even started to get their families involved!

Turns out Reese's 4 year-old son, Deacon, is a fan of the Batman movies.

So, auntie Maggie Gyllenhall gave the little one some action figures from The Dark Knight, as well as his own copy of the script.

So mommy can read it to him?

A friend of the couple says "He is quite the Batman fan. Deacon has been waiting for The Dark Knight to come out, although Reese was worried that it was too dark for him to watch at his age."

And even while the family spends some time in Paris, everyone can notice their chemistry.

A waiter at Allard's in Paris where the family recently dined says, "They looked very much in love and were happy and smiling the whole time. Reese speaks great French — I was so impressed. They seemed to be one big happy family!"

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester took a break from filming Gossip Girl today for a lunchtime chat, and apparently the gossip isn't limited to the scripts these days. Rumor has it Blake and Penn's on-set PDA sessions are starting to get a little out of control, especially since Penn started filming scenes with a new brunette love interest. Apparently Blake's been acting a wee bit territorial, but we don't think she should be concerned about who Penn's number one leading lady is in real life.

The Lohan-Ronson Clan Is One Big Happy Family

Lindsay Lohan may or may not have been hit by a motorcycle on Friday, but she looked happy and healthy with Samantha outside of the Bowery hotel last night and in NYC today. The ladies made it a family affair; Dina and Ali Lohan were spotted leaving the hotel with Charlotte Ronson yesterday. If that's not enough to squash the rumors of any bad blood between Ali and Sam, Samantha took to her blog to make it clear she loves Ali's new single. LL and Sam as usual made private time, too — they were seen cuddling in Connecticut and taking the train up to Boston last week.

But it's another thing entirely to get to see them — and that's exactly what happened over the weekend when Josh Schwartz, Zachary Levi, and the rest took the stage at Comic-Con. While there's no official version of the almost 7-minute trailer, E!'s Kristin Dos Santos, who moderated the panel, got her spies out to capture the video from the big screen. (So what I'm saying is: Agent Casey, blame her, not me!)

Among the wonderful things to be glimpsed in the trailer: a shot of the Nicole Richie shower fight, Tony Hale dressing down the Buy More crew, more than one Chuck/Sarah kiss, and the first appearance of Jill!

Miley Cyrus "Super Sorry" for Mocking Selena Gomez on YouTube



Miley Cyrus says she didn't mean to offend Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato when she mocked them on YouTube.

“We’re super sorry, but we were, like, just having fun,” Cyrus, 15, said in an interview with Popstar! Magazine. (Cyrus' apology appeared on YouTube July 19.)

A few months ago, Cyrus and her pal Mandy Jiroux taped a parody of Gomez, 16, and Lovato, 15.

The clip surfaced on blogs last week — the same time it was revealed that Gomez has been dating Cyrus' ex Nick Jonas. (A Jonas Brothers rep insists the two are just friends.)

In the clip, Cyrus and Jiroux made fun of Gomez's Power Rangers T-shirt and laughed about Lovato fixing a gap in her teeth.

“That’s our thing, to be funny,” Cyrus explained. “They were being funny on their show, and [as] Elvis says, 'Imitation is the greatest form of flattery,' so we were, like, imitating them. You know, like, being funny.”

Matt Damon Having Another Baby Girl



Matt Damon has revealed he will soon welcome another baby girl.

He tells USA Today that his wife Luciana is "due soon." (They announced her pregnancy in March.)

Their new girl will join Isabella, 2, and Damon's stepdaughter, Alexia, 9.

"I'm so outnumbered down here, it's crazy," he jokes of his female-dominated, Miami household.

He says they still haven't settled on a name.

"We decided to wait till she's born, and then we're going to get a look at her, and we'll probably keep debating it," he says.

Gearing up for his baby girl isn't Damon's only project this summer.

He's also trying to shed the 30 pounds he packed on for Steven Soderbergh's 2009 drama The Informant.

He needs to be back in shape by September for re-shoots of the drama Green Zone.

"If you put it on, it's easier to get it back off," Damon says.

"I'm just boxing," he says of his weight-loss workout. "I figure if you get hit enough times, it will fall off."

After the re-shoots, Damon tells the paper he's "taking the rest of the year off, and I'm just hanging out with my family."

Angelina Jolie's Dad Slams Barack Obama



Actor Jon Voight, the 69-year-old father of Angelina Jolie, has penned a biting critique of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

"The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way," he wrote in the Washington Times Monday.

"The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds," he wrote, comparing Obama's campaign with the "Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement" in the 1960s.

Voight theorizes that "Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger" who "will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America" if he is elected.

The actor concludes: "If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way."

Jolie has yet to make up her mind about the election.

"I think people assume I'm a Democrat," she told Entertainment Weekly. "But I'm registered independent and I'm still undecided. So I'm looking at [John McCain] as well as Obama."

She has also used the editorial page to get her opinion out.

In February, she wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post about the "moral obligation to help displaced Iraqi families."

The Obama campaign, meanwhile, reportedly turned down an offer from Jolie's beau Brad Pitt to appear for the candidate.

George Clooney's Ex: Single Life "Working for Me Right Now"



George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson has moved on.

Single life is "working for me right now," she told Us before hosting Tao Nightclub at the Venetian Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas Friday.

"It's going well," the 29-year-old model added. "I'm focusing a lot on work, and it's been going very well."

Clooney, 47, and Larson (a former Fear Factor contestant) split at the end of May after a year together.

Larson denied a fling with actor Jason Statham.

"I actually didn't even know that he was going to be sitting at the table with us," she said. "Just a kind of random large group of people. We just sat down and talked for a little bit. Nothing beyond that."

EXCLUSIVE: Nick Carter Speaks Out About Mom's Arrest



Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has opened up to Us about his mother's arrest on Thursday.

"I love my mother and offer her my full support in these unfortunate circumstances," Carter tells Us.

Jane Carter was booked after she failed to appear in a Florida court for a hearing about her divorce from John Holcomb, according to TMZ.

Among the accusations, Jane is accused of trashing their former residence.

An order was issued for her arrest after she skipped the hearing. She was arrested at a ceremony in Sumter County, FL, where she was working for a
construction company.

Nick and his brother Aaron cut Jane – their former manager out of their lives in 2005, claiming she was more concerned with money then being a mom.

"I think, mainly what we're saying now, is that we were starved for that attention, of a motherly figure," Carter told 20/20.

But a source close to Nick - who is now based in Nashville, Tennessee, tells Us the singer is now on speaking terms with Jane.

"He's been mending his relationship with his mom for quite some time and that he is in such a healthy, productive place in his life, looking better than ever," the insider tells Us. "He's focused on the current Backstreet Boys tour and in studio writing with hit-makers including Desmond Child and Jeffrey Steele for both Backstreet Boys and his solo project.

I ain’t gonna lie … I love the Mummy movies. All the hairplugs notwithstanding, I generally enjoy this movie franchise … well, except for that stupid Scorpion King movie starring The Rock. The actual Mummy movies are fun — and this one looks cute, too. I thought for sure the franchise was dead since all the Egyptian stuff had been done to death … but I think it’s brills that they moved the action to China. Hello, there are other Mummies out there. Um, for the record, I hate this story. According to Digital Spy, Hayden Panettiere gave boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia a very sexy birthday present - a full-on striptease, in her "Heroes" cheerleader costume.

"She asked wardrobe to make her a Velcro-lined version of the outfit she wears on the show," a source said. "As she sang 'Happy Birthday' to Milo in front of cast and crew during lunch she ripped off the costume to show off her sexy red lingerie. Milo's face went bright red."

Goonies Never Say Die!



If you didn't like Corey Feldman before, you're definitely going to hate him now because the cuter of the two Corey's (by default, only because Haim is so over Botoxed now) has squashed any chance of a "Goonies" sequel. Sad faces all around.

"Well, 'The Goonies' is one of those mythical sequels that will never happen," he told Moviefone. "I mean, it's something that [director Richard] Donner and [Steven] Spielberg were behind for years and years. It's a Warner Bros. issue; they just feel they don't want to take the gamble on making the sequel."

What gamble?

Chance making lots and lots of money? Toy with exposing a whole new generation to the ultimate childhood experience? What's the harm here? Make the movie on the cheap and watch the smackeroos role in.

They don't even have to bring everyone back. I could live without...well, you need Mikey and Data and Chunk. If Mikey is there, you need Brandon, who would inevitably be married to Andie at this point, and she's still BFF's with Stef. OK, so they would have to bring all the kids back, but they could only be in the periphery and have the action focus on their kids or something.

So seriously, Warner Bros, get off your freakin' high horse, stop spending $120 million on non-proven kids movies like "Speed Racer" and give $20 to a project like "Goonies" that has a built-in fanbase, tons of potential and the ability to truly become the next great franchise!

Amy Winehouse Discharged from Hospital



Amy Winehouse has been discharged from the hospital 12 hours after she was rushed to an emergency room, PEOPLE has confirmed.

"Amy is fine and she is on her way home," says her U.K. rep, Chris Goodman.

Winehouse, 24, was taken by ambulance from her home in north London to the University College Hospital on Monday night after suffering what was believed to be a seizure. Wrapped in a red blanket, she was taken to the vehicle in a wheelchair while her dad Mitch looked on.

The setback was part of her struggle to get clean, the rep insists. (Both the singer and her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, have a history of drug problems.)

"She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program," says Goodman. "And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one."

Last month, the Grammy winner was admitted to a London clinic after fainting at home. Almost exactly a year ago, Winehouse was treated at the University College Hospital for "exhaustion." Her father later revealed she had overdosed and need her stomach pumped.

She also spent a brief stint in rehab this year.

Winehouse's rep claims the troubled singer plans to take it easy in the coming months.

"She has a few gigs to perform," says Goodman. "After [playing a few summer] festivals, she is going to continue writing her new album. It will be rest and writing."

Rebecca Romijn's Costars Celebrate Her Baby News



When it came to telling her TV colleagues that she and husband Jerry O'Connell would be having twins, Ugly Betty's Rebecca Romijn handled the announcement quietly before the news went public.

Not that their reactions were subdued. "[We're] so excited," said Betty star America Ferrera at Monday's New York City premiere of her movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

"I'm so happy for them," gushed Ferrera, 24. "They're going to be the best parents. I don't think there could be a more wonderful father to girls."

As for her own expectations of the arrivals, who are due this winter, Ferrera added, "I just am waiting to see how tall those girls are going to be. I think they're going to be born my height."

Vanessa Williams has even started shopping. "I've already gotten them organic cotton baby clothes from Green Babies to start them off right," Williams, 45, told PEOPLE. "Rebecca is glowing, and Jerry will make a really fun daddy."

"She was more excited than you can imagine. Jerry's a great guy. And they laugh so much, and they have so much fun together," added Becki Newton, who also noted that the stork seems to be an honorary cast member on the show.

Besides Romijn, Eric Mabius is expecting his second child come fall, and Christopher Gorham's third is due in January.


Romijn's 'Mama-Bear Thing'

Costar Ana Ortiz says Romijn is "blissfully happy" to be expecting two babies. "She's such a mom already. She has that Mama-Bear thing, always watching out for us, and she's a hoot," says Ortiz. And the dad? "Jerry is going to spoil them completely rotten."

"They're not going to be the uptight kind of parents, 'You can't do this, you can't do that,' " ventured 14-year-old Mark Indelicato, who plays Justin Suarez on the show. "They're going to be awesome parents. They love to have fun. But they still have boundaries. And they live in the coolest place ever in L.A."

And, as the parents-to-be should also note: "I'm a cheap babysitter," says Indelicato. "I only charge five bucks an hour."

Cops Hunt Rockefeller Accused of Kidnapping Daughter



Divorced father Clark Rockefeller, who reputedly kidnapped his 7-year-old daughter during a supervised weekend visit, is believed to be fleeing the country on a 72-foot yacht, police say.

In a case that has sparked national interest, Boston police said Tuesday they were stumped as to the whereabouts of Rockefeller, 48, or his daughter, Reigh Boss, the Associated Press reports.

Law authorities claim that Rockefeller – who goes by many aliases and is likely not related to the wealthy American dynasty – apprehended the child during a Sunday visit overseen by a social worker and then took off in a vehicle driven by another man.

After posting an Amber Alert for Reigh, Massachusetts authorities canceled it Monday after New York City police reported a Rockefeller sighting Sunday night at Manhattan's Grand Central Station.

Believed to be Bermuda-bound with his daughter, Rockefeller has become the subject of a search by the NYPD Harbor Patrol, the Coast Guard and the FBI, who are on the lookout for the yacht.

Boston police have an arrest warrant out for Rockefeller on charges of custodial kidnapping, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon – given that the social worker was injured while trying to grasp onto the fleeing car.

Reigh lives with her mother, Sandra Boss, a partner in a global management consulting firm based in London.

Rapper T.I.: Mariah Carey Is a 'Phenomenal Talent'



Rapper T.I., who just finished working with Mariah Carey on her new music video, "I'll Be Lovin' U a Long Time," tells PEOPLE that he enjoyed the experience with the singer. "She's a phenomenal talent," he says. "Extremely professional."

The hip-hop star has a lot currently going on. He's about to drop a new album, Paper Trail and begin shooing a new movie. But the one thing he wishes he could do is vote. His recent conviction on federal weapons possession charges makes him ineligible to cast a ballot. (He's currently on probation and will begin serving a 12-month sentence in March.)

So the 27-year-old multi-platinum selling artist decided to get other young people to do their civic duty as the spokesperson for the Hip-Hop Caucus's new Respect My Vote campaign.

"I can't vote," he told PEOPLE in Washington D.C. on Monday. "So I said, 'Okay, so if I'm going to have to be minus my own vote then the least I could do was urge the masses.' I can replace my vote with at least a million, two million others."

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was in town to help kick off Hip-Hop Caucus's new national voter registration drive, which is aimed at young people who aren't in college.

"This is one of the most significant elections of our lifetime. We must get out there and make our voices heard by voting," T.I. told the audience of several hundred screaming young fans. "It's negligent to sit around and watch an election pass by and not have an influence whatsoever on the outcome. That ain't sexy."

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson's Romantic Day in N.Y.C.



It was a romantic day of shopping, dining and partying in New York City for inseparable duo Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

The couple's busy July 28 included a trip to Chanel in SoHo, a late lunch at Bar Pitti and a romantic dinner at Gemma Restaurant.

Holding hands and gazing into each other eyes, the couple dined in a cozy, candlelit corner table at Gemma late Monday evening. The two looked quite happy, sitting next to each other as they chatted and laughed in a dark corner of the popular restaurant alongside Ronson's brother Mark and a male friend.

After Gemma, Lohan and Ronson continued the party at the Bowery Hotel's patio bar. Wearing a sky blue T-shirt, white jeans and one of her trademark straw fedoras, Ronson doted on Lohan, often putting her arm around her and laughing with the actress while more friends joined the couple.

They left shortly after midnight, with Lohan toting a Chanel-quilted purse and Ronson following in close pursuit.

Bachelor Ex-Fiancée Shayne Lamas to Keep Engagement Ring



The engagement has ended, but former Bachelor fiancée Shayne Lamas says she has every intention of keeping the ring.

In the first interview since announcing her split from The Bachelor: London Calling’s Matt Grant, Lamas says she has prepared a permanent home for the 2.85-carat Tacori platinum-and-diamond eternity ring now that it’s off her finger.

“I have it and I am going to keep it forever for the rest of my life,” Lamas tells PEOPLE. “It’s safe and clean and in a glass box like a glass slipper.”

And according to Lamas, Grant has no problem with that arrangement. “Of course (he doesn’t),” she says. “He wants to come over and look at it.”

Fans of the ABC reality show watched Grant get down on bended knee and present the ring to Lamas with the winning rose in the final episode of The Bachelor.

But a month after the episode aired, the two were no longer living together. While dogged with persistent Internet reports of discord, Lamas insists the two never had to deal with infidelity.

“I did not cheat on Matt,” insists Lamas. “I would never, ever cheat on Matt. He was my fiancé.”

The break-up came on the heels of reports that Lamas was spotted partying in Vegas with a local businessman. But according to Lamas, the two had already split by then.

“I want to clear this up 100 percent. That [Vegas trip] had nothing to do with our break-up,” says Lamas. “I was in Vegas with friends. Matt and I had already broken up. So I was a single 22-year-old woman having fun.”

Upon her return from Vegas, Lamas says the couple announced their split to the public. Though they are no longer an item, Lamas insists she and Grant are still amicable and talk “daily.”

“If I find the man, I’ll do it,” says Lamas, who plans on being “single for a while,” but is not counting out marriage in the future. “But I’m going to give this the two-year test. And then marry him. I think I’ve learned that two months is a little too short.”

Feeling Faint Sent Kelsey Grammer Back to Hospital



Kelsey Grammer was hospitalized Monday as a precautionary measure after feeling faint following his recent heart attack.

The actor's publicist Stan Rosenfield confirmed to PEOPLE: "He felt faint yesterday morning so he decided to go to the hospital and get checked out."

Grammer, 53, who suffered a mild heart attack in June after paddle surfing with his wife in Hawaii, began feeling ill while promoting his new film Swing Vote in New York.

His recent hospital visit was in no way life-threatening, says his rep. "When you have a history of heart [troubles] you take these things a little more seriously," says Rosenfield. "They ran some tests yesterday and might make an adjustment to his medication." He added that the doctors had kept him overnight for observation and as a result of the scare, Grammer had to cancel four TV appearances.

The actor's wife Camille admitted to PEOPLE just prior to his second hospital visit that she constantly worries about her husband's health. "He's a Type-A personality, so it's hard for him to slow down," she said at the Super Saturday 11 charity shopping event in the Hamptons, which she attended with her husband and kids Mason and Jude on Saturday.

But she's not giving up her efforts: "We're working on it. I'm still scared. I always did appreciate him, but I really appreciate him now."

And how is Grammer feeling now? Jokes Rosenfield, "He's a little upset that the Yankees lost."

Rep Defends Madonna Photos



Everybody has a bad angle, even Madonna.

The singer, 49, was photographed Friday leaving the Kaballah Center in New York looking gaunt and tired. But pictures can lie, says her publicist.

"I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad," says her rep Liz Rosenberg. "I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing – glowing skin and working really hard on her show."

"She may look a little thinner than usual," continues Rosenberg, "but she was dancing and singing better than ever and ate a nice healthy meal."

Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Hoefflin says weight loss can make for sharp cheekbones.

"From a physician who has never evaluated or treated Madonna, it's my impression that if she has lost significant weight, that you're seeing a good amount of facial fat loss in her face," he tells PEOPLE.

"The cheekbones can often stand out, appearing as [though] someone has undergone some form of mid-face enhancement," he adds.

As for the expression on Madonna's face in the photos, her rep joked, "Maybe she was getting ready to hurl a spitball at somebody."

Could it be the stress of the recent the rumors about her marriage? No, says Rosenberg.

"She's working hard rehearsing eight hours a day for her tour," says the rep, who also called rumors that the singer ghost-wrote parts of her brother's tell-all book "ludicrous."

"If she had anything to do with that book, it would have been better written and more eloquent," says Rosenberg. "To say Madonna needs publicity is insane. Her ticket sales are amazing. And she's in a great space."

Snoop Dogg Curries Favor in India



First came Hollywood. Then Bollywood. And now there's, er, Doggywood?

Hip hop star Snoop Dogg, 36, has teamed up with the reigning king of Indian films, Akshay Kumar, to record the title track for the actor's upcoming Bollywood epic, Singh is Kinng.

In the accompanying music video, Dogg dresses in traditional grand sardar style. According to producer Vipul A. Shah, the rapper hopes to break into the booming Indian film scene. "Snoop wants to do a Hindi movie with Akshay, as he is really keen on wooing the Indian audiences," Shah said in a statement.

"The most interesting aspect of the song is that one gets to see two very different styles – hip-hop with Snoop and Bhangra with Akshay," says Shah. "Their chemistry was worth seeing as they're superstars from two different worlds. To say the least, the video is looking brilliant!"

This is not the first time Dogg has strayed from his urban roots. In June, he released a country song, "My Medicine."

Sister: Nick Hogan's Jail Time Has 'Broken His Spirit'



Jail has changed Nick Hogan for the worse, sister Brooke says.

"They had broken his spirit," Brooke Hogan, 20, tells PEOPLE. "When they put him in solitary, he was on the outs. I was worried about him, and his safety, and his well-being."

But now that Nick's out of a 28-day stint in solitary where he was rapidly losing weight, and in the general population with more privileges, he's turning back into the little brother she knew.

"We get to visit him three times a week like everybody else, but it sucks," she says. "I can't just walk over to his room and give him a hug, or talk to him, or confide in him. ... At least he's not locked in hell, basically. And his personality is slowly coming back. I bring that out of him."

Nick, who just turned 18, is serving an eight-month jail sentence for reckless driving in an August 2007 car accident in Clearwater, Fla., that left friend John Graziano incapacitated for life.

Brooke, who is currently starring in her own reality show, Brooke Knows Best, on VH1 says her brother's fame has caused him trouble in jail – but nothing he can't handle.

"He's been threatened," she says. "Thank God he's big and he can hold his own."

As for Brooke, her jail visits bring her painful experiences, too, like when she runs into her estranged mother, Linda, who's involved in increasingly ugly divorce proceedings from dad Hulk Hogan.

"I see her at visitation, but I don't talk to her," Brooke says.
