The married couple did their best covert exit and didn't show off any wedding bling, though we're still excited from seeing Jay-Z sporting a ring last week. The busy pair continues to add new projects to their respective resumes — like Jay-Z teaming up with Kanye and Timbaland for his new album and Beyonce performing at Fashion Rocks — but they always manage to find time for romantic dinners before sneaking away on another lavish vacation.

The Police Weigh in on Lindsay and Sam's Relationship

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson enjoyed another fun-filled day of errands before partying the night away with the Beckhams. The majority of you are not into Samantha's new 'do but considering she's been going hatless these days, she must be happy with it. Yesterday, while John Mayer was speaking out about regulating the paparazzi, LA Police Chief William Bratton said he doesn't feel that the paparazzi situation needs police attention. He said, "If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue." Hmm, interesting — Looks like LL might not be able to sell her love story now that even local police officers are assuming they are out.

Liv looked trendy in her dip dyed maxi dress, while her ex made his own statement by skipping the shoes altogether. Even if spending time together doesn't lead to a reconciliation for Liv and Royston, maybe as a Gap Fall campaign model, Liv can share a few fashion tips.

Jennifer and Ben Fly South For the Weekend

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck headed to LAX yesterday to make their way down to Miami for the Barack Obama Fundraiser they're hosting alongside the Damons tonight. The jet-setting couple didn't seem to be overly stressed going through security, flashing big smiles as they gathered up their stuff and Jen tied her sneakers. Guess little Miss Violet may be staying home, but maybe Jen and Ben can squeeze in some romantic alone time on the beach before and after the big event.

Momma Winhouse is Delusional Too



Earlier in the week, Amy Winehouse's dad claimed that Wino was hospitalized this Monday because someone drugged her.

Momma Wino says the hospital visit was simply a matter of human error.

Desperation is so unbecoming!

An insider reveals to Chicago's Sun Times that Lance Armstrong dumped Kate Hudson's sorry ass because he was feeling a bit ”smothered” by the blonde bimbo.

A pal of Armstrong's tells the paper:

…the sports hero felt Hudson was ”just too needy,” and was coming on ''too strong, too fast … sensing Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can't be on her own without a man in her life at all times.”

The Times went on to point out that Lance may have a point:

Back in June, Paula Abdul's rep confirmed the rumors that Abdul and her younger boyfriend, restaurateur JT Torregiani, had called it quits after being together for a bit over a year.

Adbul, who's 46, and her 33 year-old ex were spotted in Sherman Oaks, CA last weekend catching a movie.

The All-American Rejects Sprout 'Got Milk?' Mustaches



The All-American Rejects have a "dirty little secret" – they're milk drinkers!

The rock quartet, best known for the top 10 single "Dirty Little Secret," recently joined the likes of David Beckham, Beyoncé, Martha Stewart, Muhammad Ali and Mike Myers as Austin Powers among the milk-mustachioed stars who have appeared in the "Got Milk?" ads.

"They're all very iconic," rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty tells PEOPLE. "It's definitely a big deal. The only thing bigger than 'got Milk?' are those T-shirts that rip off the saying by asking 'got' something else."

Lead singer-bassist Tyson Ritter says of the shoot by revered celebrity photographer Annie Leibowitz, "It was completely humbling and an honor to do it."

The ads promote the nutritional benefits of drinking cow's milk. Kennerty says healthy living is not hard for his group, which also includes lead guitarist Nick Wheeler and drummer Chris Gaylor. "On the road we're just active every day," he says. "We're playing shows. So that really does help. It's when we come off the road that we're not doing anything but sitting around drinking – that's milk of course."

Morgan Freeman in Serious Condition After Car Accident



Morgan Freeman is in serious condition after being involved in a car accident in Mississippi late Sunday night.

The 71-year-old Oscar winner, who currently costars in the blockbuster The Dark Knight, was driving in Tallahatchie County when the accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Mississippi Highway Patrol public affairs officer Sgt. Ben Williams tells PEOPLE.

According to Williams, Freeman's 1997 Nissan Maxima was heading eastbound on Mississippi Highway 32 when the car went off the edge of the road and overturned several times before coming to a stop.

A passenger, identified by police as Demaris Meyer, was also in the car with Freeman.

Mary-Kate Olsen Wants Immunity in Heath Ledger Case



Mary-Kate Olsen wants immunity from prosecution before she will cooperate with a federal investigation into close friend Heath Ledger's accidental overdose death, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Investigators could subpoena the 22-year-old actress but hope to work this out, a law enforcement source said Monday.

Olsen's publicist and lawyer didn't immediately comment.

Ledger, 28, was found in the bedroom of his New York apartment Jan. 22 by his housekeeper and a masseuse who had arrived for an appointment with the actor. The masseuse called Olsen before calling 911, police said.

The Drug Enforcement Administration's probe into whether Ledger was over-prescribed medicine began shortly after his death. An autopsy revealed he had prescription pain, anxiety and sleep medications in his system and the combination killed him.

Lawyer: Mary-Kate Olsen Had 'Nothing to Do' with Heath Ledger's Drugs



Mary-Kate Olsen doesn't know where Heath Ledger got the drugs that killed him, and has already provided investigators with "relevant information," her lawyer says in a statement.

"Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger's home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them," said the statement from attorney Michael C. Miller on Monday.

The statement was released following a report, confirmed by PEOPLE, that Olsen, 22, wants immunity from prosecution before she will cooperate with a federal investigation into close friend Ledger's death from an accidental overdose.

"Regarding the government's investigation, at Ms. Olsen's request, we have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed," the statement from her attorney continues.

The statement concludes: "We don't know the source of the information being quoted in the media regarding the government's inquiry, but these descriptions are incomplete and inaccurate."

Morgan Freeman Is in 'Good Spirits' After Accident



Morgan Freeman is in good spirits and is planning to have surgery after sustaining injuries in a car accident Sunday night, the actor's rep said in a statement Monday afternoon.

"He has a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage but he is in good spirits," said Donna Lee. "He is going to have surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to correct the damage. He says he'll be okay and is looking forward to a full recovery."

Shannon Elizabeth Is NOT Engaged to Derek Hough



For the record, Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough did not propose to his former partner and current girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth. And she definitely did not turn him down.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner jetted off to Miami Beach this weekend to do a little political stumping for Barack Obama. Along with BFFs Matt and Luciana Damon, the stars hosted an exclusive Generation Obama fundraising event at Set nightclub Saturday.

"They did encourage everyone to make sure they were registered to vote and involve themselves because of the historic importance of this election," Alejandro Miyar, campaign spokesperson for Obama for America, tells E! News.

Not only were the two couples in sync on their support for the candidate, but they were even dressed alike. Affleck and Damon wore black suits with white shirts, and their wives wore black dresses.

One of the lingering mysteries of Shia LaBeouf's accident has been why actress Isabel Lucas was along for the ride, even though she had been dating Entourage's Adrian Grenier.

E! News has learned the reason Lucas, 23, wasn't with Grenier that night: He had allegedly been spending time recently with model Melissa Keller.

Demi Moore Adds Director to Her Résumé




Demi Moore has found herself a seat in a director's chair.

Moore, 45, is currently finishing a short film she directed as part of Glamour magazine's fourth annual Reel Moments series, it's been revealed to me.

Details about Moore's directorial debut are being kept under wraps (even the title is unknown because, I'm told, it has changed more than once), but Brittany Snow revealed at this weekend's Do Something Awards that she's in the flick...

"She's so grounded and normal and a really, really talented director," Snow said of Moore. "When it comes to this crazy town and industry, she has a very good handle on who she is...She wore jeans and a T-shirt every day and no makeup. She was just so cool."

As I first told you, Courteney Cox has also directed a short for this year's round of Reel Moments. Others who have done so in the past include Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Rita Wilson.

The new film will premiere in October.

Olsen Twins Butt of Jokes at Bob Saget Roast




It's probably a good thing that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen skipped last night's Comedy Central Roast of their Full House father, Bob Saget.

Hosted by another Full House alum, John Stamos, the comedic beatdown included loads of raunchy sexcentric jokes about the Olsen twins.

Roasters like Jon Lovitz, The Sarah Silverman Program's Brian Posehn and Gilbert Gottfried showed no restraint during the two-hour taping on a Warner Bros. soundstage in Burbank. They even made several cracks about having sex with the Olsens when they were underage.

Perhaps Saget knew what was in store for him.

Before the show even started, he said, “I don’t have my children here. I don’t have my mother here. I can’t keep it clean tonight."

Saget did, however, bring along his girlfriend, Michelle Ghatchi.

But the Olsens may not have to worry about the jokes getting much TV time when the roast airs Aug. 17. "All our roasts tend to be super filthy," a Comedy Central rep said today. "This ranked right up there."

The rep also explained that Saget will get a chance to view the first cut of the roast, and the network "will work with him on any edit requests."

The sitcom star is the top-earning comedic actor on television right now, with a per-episode payday of $825,000, according to a list of the highest salaries in prime-time compiled by TV Guide.

Joining him in the upper echelons of compensation are CSI's William Petersen, who will be walking away from a $600,000-per-ep salary when he leaves the show in the coming season, and Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay, who may or may not keep copies of her $400,000 checks next to her Emmy.

Also quenching America's thirst for crime-solving, Kyra Sedgwick's $275,000-per-ep salary makes her the highest-paid actress in a cable drama.

Kate Hudson may be newly single but she has one guy who is constant in her life, her main man Ryder. He was by her side in NYC for lunch on Friday and a trip to the park on Sunday. Kate was also spotted post-workout and at a corner store earlier that day. Most of you weren't shocked by her sudden split from Lance Armstrong, but the latest person she's been seen with may be a bit of a surprise: her ex-husband Chris Robinson. He apparently met her and Ryder at the airport when they returned from LA and greeted Kate with a very long kiss. But, I would like someone to explain to me how a couple so intimately comfortable with engaging in the following activity together can possibly try and make us believe that they are not a romantic couple — behold:



I’m sorry, y’all but poppin’ one another’s zits is a pretty clear indication that there is something more than just friendship going on betwixt these two. Am I wrong?

Madonna Does ‘New York’ Magazine

New York magazine, known for its generous hyperbole and wit, has put the face of Madonna on the cover of its latest issue to accompany a story about the new trend in plastic surgery that rebukes the traditional idea of pulling skin tight and taught and, instead, plumps up the facial features. Apparently the mag feels that our lady Madonna is the new face of The New Face:



Women have been availing themselves of new faces since the dawn of plastic surgery, but suddenly it seemed that there was a better new face to be had. There is a New New Face, very different from the old one, and both my friend and Madonna now have it. Once I starting thinking of it in these terms—the face as the new handbag, say—I started seeing New New Faces everywhere: Demi Moore, Michelle Pfeiffer, Liz Hurley, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour. They all have it! Even the Olsen twins seem to have a starter version of the New New Face, with their big crazy doll eyes and plush lips. Just to be clear, I don’t presume to know exactly what any of these women have done to their faces, if anything at all. It’s possible (though in some cases before-and-after pictures would seem to suggest otherwise) that this face is occurring entirely naturally—after all, these are women who are famous for being beautiful. The point is that there is a noticeable aesthetic shift happening in the face, and that it’s dovetailing with quantum leaps in plastic surgery and dermatology. Through some unholy marriage of extreme fitness and calorie restriction (and maybe a little lipo), women have figured out how to tame their aging bodies for longer than ever. You see them everywhere in New York City: forty- and fiftysomethings who look better than a 25-year-old in a fitted little dress or a tight pair of jeans. But this level of fitness has created a new problem to which the New New Face is the solution—gauntness. Past a certain age, to paraphrase Catherine Deneuve, it’s either your fanny or your face. In other words, if your body is fierce (from yoga, Pilates, and the treadmill), your face will have no fat on it either and it will be … unfierce. It was only a matter of time before a certain segment of the female population would figure out how to have it both ways, even if it means working out two hours a day and then paying someone to volumize their faces, as they say in the dermatology business. As a friend of mine recently pointed out, there is now a whole new class of women walking around with wiry little bodies and “big ol’ baby faces.” And they look, well, if not exactly young, then attractive in a different way. A yoga body plus the New New Face may not be a fountain of youth, but it’s a fountain of indeterminate age. Psychologists and anthropologists have long tried to nail down what makes us perceive one face as beautiful and another not. There are theories about the math of it, the “Golden Ratio” — how, if you take careful measurements of the lines and triangles formed by a beautiful face, they will add up to the same proportions first noted by the Greeks to be aesthetically pleasing. More recently, a scientist named Michael Cunningham took it upon himself to study the faces of 50 women, half of whom were finalists in an international beauty pageant. In “Measuring the Physical in Physical Attractiveness” (italics mine), he wrote that the width of an eye, if it is to be part of a beautiful face, should be precisely three-tenths the width of the face, and the chin ought to be just one-fifth the height of the face, while the total area of the nose had better be less than 5 percent of the total area of the face or … you is ugly!

LOL! It’s an interesting article, one that I think has some bit of merit, but the cover is misleading. The assumption is that the writer knows specifics about the sort of nip/tucking that celebs are enjoying these days … when, in fact, the article is just an entire piece on assumption and conjecture. I don’t know that Maddy would take too kindly to being made the posterchild for this piece but I suppose she’s as good a candidate as any. At the end of the day, Madonna looks pretty amazing these days (well, except for that odd off day or two) and whatever it is that she does to keep looking so good is OK with me. On a playing field where the new starlets are getting younger every day, well, you gotta do what you gotta do. If plump is the new hot then plump away, I say.

Madonna Is Because We Are



Madonna arrives and greets filmmaker Michael Moore at a screening of her new film, I Am Because We Are at the Traverse City Film Festival on Saturday in Traverse City, Michigan.

This movie documents the concern over the millions of orphans in the African country of Malawi who have lost parents and siblings to HIV and AIDS, many of whom live on the streets. The film also shows the efforts with Madonna’s charitable organisation Raising Malawi in helping with improving their lives and conditions.

I Am Because We Are is narrated and produced by Madonna.

“Ubuntu” is an idea present in African spirituality that says “I am because we are,” that we are all connected and we cannot be ourselves without community.

Dwayne Johnson Rocks New Romance



Dwayne Johnson, formerly known by his wrestling name, “The Rock”, vacations in Hawaii with his new girlfriend Lauren Hashian on Sunday.

Dwayne’s divorce to ex-wife Dany Johnson was recently finalized and despite the split, he described their relationship as “amicable and that they would spend the rest of their lives together as best friends.”

The 36-year-old actor has a new film, Race to Witch Mountain, which is due to open on March 13th next year. Carla Gugino and Cheech Marin co-star in the film. Neil Patrick Harris Crushes on Anderson Cooper, Strives for 'Normalcy'



Neil Patrick Harris talks to OUT magazine for their September issue and expresses his joy over the recent visibility of same-sex couples in the news surrounding the California same-sex marriage legislation ("I think that speaks way more than the 'God Hates Fags' signs."). He also talks about what he believes his own role to be as a visible gay man:

"My job is jester -- not advocate. I’m on a situation comedy responding to [Josh Radnor’s character] Ted Mosby and his wacky adventures -- that’s my job right now. If people want to comment about where I go to dinner, they are welcome to, but it’s not my job to respond to those statements. The Internet stuff threw me for a loop because I didn’t understand where the vitriol was coming from. I thought I had been representing well, and in turn it seemed like I was quickly condemned to step to the plate, and I was fine with that. I’m striving to be an example of normalcy. Because I’m noticed as an actor, people are aware of what’s happening in my life, and that I can’t change, and if I tried to, it’d be an uphill battle. I’d be angry and bitter. I’m a big proponent of monogamous relationships regardless of sexuality, and I’m proud of how the nation is steering toward that. Then you can look around and say, 'I really deeply feel like I’m in love with this person, there are people who feel the same thing, and those models are normal.' Would Justin Timberlake Make a Good Oscar Host?



This just in from the Department of Crazy Rumors: Justin Timberlake is possibly being considered as a host for next year's Oscars. Who knows if it's true — but it's certainly interesting to contemplate. He got a lot of positive buzz off his ESPY award hosting gig this Summer, and I could see him having a good hosting personality.

Then again, the Oscars tend to go for folks with a strong background in comedy, which isn't exactly what Timberlake's best known for — and his movie career, while hardly hopeless, is still a little spotty.

Is Eva Mendes' Banned Perfume Ad Too Sexy For TV?



Well, as it turns out, Eva Mendes is too sexy for her shirt. As previously reported, her 30-second commercial for Calvin Klein Secret Obsession was banned in the United States. Well, no doy — there's areola in this clip! (It's not raunchy, but it's NSFW.)

Personally, I think it's beautifully shot (and that it was cleverly created to drum up "controversy") but c'mon, Calvin — everyone knows you can't show certain body parts on the, uh, boob tube.

From Beatles to Michael to Mariah, 50 Years of Counting Down the Hits



The Hot 100 just turned the big 5-0.

The seminal singles chart turned a half-century-old today, having made its Billboard magazine debut on Aug. 4, 1958. Ricky Nelson's "Poor Little Fool" topped the inaugural Hot 100 chart, which covered the week ended Aug. 9, and nearly a 1,000 songs have graced its perch since.

In celebration of its silver anniversary, here's our own hit list of Hot 100 highlights:

* Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's 1995 single "One Sweet Day" holds the record for the most weeks at No. 1 with 16.
* 1987's Bad landed five No. 1 singles to give Michael Jackson the most chart-toppers ever from a single album.
* In '95, Jackson's "You Are Not Alone" became the first song ever to debut at No. 1. Unfortunately, it's also his last song to reach No. 1.
* In '64, the Beatles became the first band to replace itself at No. 1 when "She Loves You" topped "I Want to Hold Your Hand," their very first U.S. chart-topper. "Can't Buy Me Love" then hit No. 1 to make the Beatles the only group to string together three consecutive chart-toppers.
* The Fab Four also became the only group to occupy the top five spots at once. In the 15 years before the birth of the Hot 100, songs were tracked on three different charts divided by store sales, radio spins and jukebox play.

By early 1958, the jukebox chart had been discontinued, and the new countdown, titled the Top 100, was the first to combine sales and spins. By August of that year, the Top 100 was rechristened the Hot 100, and it has remained the industry standard ever since.

A Woman Of Many Talents



Former Baywatch "actress" Pamela Anderson is trying to do good.

The new reality TV star has decided to build an eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi.

And by building, we're sure she means someone else is paying for it and she's just putting her name behind it.

Apparently, Anderson "fell in love" with the city when she recently visited for a charity trip.

While visiting, the royal family in Abu Dhabi asked her to become a HOtelier.

Anderson says, "I'm building a hotel there. It is environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish Foundation and met some great people there. The royal family was really friendly."

Pam insists the hotel will be super green.

Adding, "It's built with no fossil fuel at all in Abu Dhabi where they have all that oil."

Will the restaurant's in Anderson's HOtel serve meet???? What would PETA say????
