Owen Keeps Busy With a Newspaper and a Smile

Owen Wilson's romantic relationships may be short lived, but one passion that endures is for his bicycle. Freak Accident on Hannah Montana Set



There was a scare on the Tennessee set of Hannah Montana: The Movie Tuesday when high winds blew a piece of production equipment onto a ferris wheel full of extras, injuring several of them.

The film's young star, Miley Cyrus, 15, had just finished shooting a scene next to the ferris wheel when the accident occurred, according to TMZ.com, which first reported the incident.

"During a break in the filming of Hannah Montana: The Movie, a minor accident occurred involving a piece of production equipment," Disney said in a statement confirming the accident. "Fortunately, there were only a few minor injuries. Medical personnel have treated the extras and crew involved. None of the cast was on the set. Filming has resumed."

Neither Cyrus nor her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, were on the set when the "giant" piece of lighting equipment fell onto the ferris wheel, according to reports.

An extra, Brenda Blackford, described the scene to Nashville station WKRN-TV: "When the wind caught it, all the cables were loose. It started [flying]. I was watching to see which corner of it was gonna hit the Ferris wheel, because it was unavoidable."

American Pie's Jason Biggs to Repeat Marital Vows

Hairspray Star's Managers Sue for Salary Slice



Starring as John Travolta's curvaceous daughter in last year's movie hit Hairspray may have put newcomer Nikki Blonsky on the map, but her entertainment managers want some of her earnings in their bank accounts, according to a just-filed lawsuit.

Margaret Karaszek and Michael Ostrowski, partners in Morgit Management, formally lodged their complaint in New York's State Supreme Court, claiming that Blonsky, 20, and her mother, Karen Blonsky, breached their contract by not cutting them in for their standard 20 percent of the young star's overnight success, reports Newsday.

Among Morgit's claims: Blonsky was "unknown" when she landed the role of Tracy Turnblad; Ostrowski and Karaszek sent a tape of Blonsky to the film's casting team; and they even drove Blonsky into Manhattan for an audition during a snowstorm.

Sharon Stone's Invite to Chinese Film Fest Revoked



Despite an apology for her remarks blaming the earthquake in China on the country's karma because of its human-rights history, this year's Shanghai International Film Festival refuses to roll out the red carpet for the American actress.

Stone, 50, had attended the 2007 event, but no invitation for the June 14-22, 2008, gathering will be forthcoming, fest spokeswoman Tang Bing said Wednesday, the Associated Press reports.

Furthermore, according to Tang, festival organizers dispatched a letter to the Basic Instinct star, protesting her comments and demanding an apology.

Las Vegas Club Names K-Fed 'Father of the Year'



Kevin Federline is the new father of the year!

Just in time for Father's Day, Prive Las Vegas will award the proud papa of four his "father of the year" status at a party he is slated to host there June 13.

Sources tell PEOPLE he will be awarded the title during a presentation at the club.

The unofficial honor is Federline's second such recognition in a relatively short time. Last November, Details magazine also anointed him father of the year – an honor he shared with onetime Anna Nicole Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead.

Kanye West & Selita Ebanks: Just Friends



Kanye West and Selita Ebanks are good friends, but nothing more than that, says a source close to the model.

West and Ebanks were among those attending a party Saturday night at the New York City club Tenjune. Plus, Ebanks showed up at the afterparty following West's May 13 concert appearance at Madison Square Garden.

But the source says that rumors of a romance between the two are not true.

"They are just friends. They were with a large group that included Serena Williams and Selita's dad," says the Ebanks source about the Tenjune party.

Ne-Yo Pleads Guilty to Driving without a License



Life in the fast lane wasn't kind to R&B star Ne-Yo on Monday.

The Grammy winner was sentenced to 24 hours of community service by a Georgia judge after pleading guilty to driving without a license, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Ne-Yo (real name: Shaffer Smith) – who also pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge – was pulled over on Feb. 19 by Georgia police at around 2:30 a.m. for driving 105 mph – 50 miles above the speed limit.

The singer-songwriter was then given a ticket for reckless driving and for failure to have a Georgia driver's license.

Jonas Brothers Reveal Coping Mechanism: Caffeine!



The Jonas Brothers have a not-so-secret weapon for coping with a hectic schedule: caffeine!

"I have an energy drink when I wake up and a coffee when I eat breakfast," Nick Jonas tells Teen magazine in its summer issue. But that's not all. "Then [I have] a coffee at dinner and an energy drink right before I go onstage. Then I'm good."

And no wonder Jonas needs the boost: He and his brothers – Joe and Kevin – have a slate of upcoming projects in the works. Jolie confidants: 'ET' knew twins source fake



NEW YORK - "Entertainment Tonight" aired a story about the birth of Angelina Jolie's twins despite being repeatedly told beforehand that the report was based on information from someone impersonating Jolie's assistant, according to documents and two people with knowledge of the exchange.

The celebrity newsmagazine denied Wednesday that it knew about an impostor before the broadcast. The identity of the impostor remained unknown.

On Friday morning, the show posted a story on its Web site and sent an e-mail alert to media outlets saying it had confirmed the birth of Jolie's twins. The Associated Press picked up the report.

"Entertainment Tonight" did not name its source at the time. It later revealed that the report was based on e-mails from someone it thought was Jolie assistant Holly Goline.

Shortly after the story was posted but several hours before the broadcast aired, Goline told "Entertainment Tonight" that she was not the person with whom they had been corresponding, a person with direct knowledge of the conversation told The Associated Press. That account was confirmed by another person close to Jolie.

"'Entertainment Tonight' was told before the broadcast that their information came from an impostor," said the second person. Both people spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.

The people said there were several conversations Friday, by e-mail, text message and telephone, between Goline and "Entertainment Tonight." Meanwhile, the story was quickly challenged by several other celebrity news outlets.

The TV show stood by its story Friday night, with host Mary Hart saying on the air, "Just this morning, a source who says she was inside the delivery room tells us yes, the babies were born and yes, mother and babies are fine."

Later that night, the manager of Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt, told AP that the babies had not been born.

The show said in a statement Wednesday that it first learned of an impostor from a letter from Jolie's attorney Monday — three days after the broadcast.

"'Entertainment Tonight' takes this very seriously and is, of course, concerned that the show may have been victimized by someone allegedly posing as a member of Ms. Jolie's team," the statement said. "We are actively investigating the matter and are reaching out to law enforcement agencies."

The show has not mentioned the story on the air since the initial report, and the story has been deleted from its Web site.

The 27-year-old program is the top-rated entertainment newsmagazine on television, with an average nightly audience of 6.6 million viewers, more than double any competitors. The twins, who Jolie says are due in August, are one of the biggest stories of the year in celebrity journalism, with their first photographs expected to fetch at least $10 million. (The first pictures of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt reportedly fetched a $4 million donation to charity from People magazine.)

The mystery of who was sending the e-mail fit perfectly into the world of celebrity gossip, in which rumor and thirdhand sources coalesce into "facts" at the speed of the Internet. Even before the "Entertainment Tonight" report, there were international rumors of the twins' birth, possibly started by an OK! magazine story that did not report the babies were born, but speculated on possible names.

According to an "ET" executive, the report of the twins' birth began with Sharlette Hambrick, an "ET" producer. Hambrick told the show that she had obtained a BlackBerry e-mail address for Goline from a contact at CNN, according to the executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to release the information.

According to e-mails provided to AP by the show, Hambrick sent a message to the BlackBerry address asking for confirmation of "reports swirling" that Jolie had given birth.

The reply came back: "Yes she did. I was actually in the room with her. They are doing fine and so is mom."

Goline has never had a BlackBerry e-mail account, one of the people with knowledge of the exchange said. Hambrick referred a call from The Associated Press to the show's public relations representative.

Shortly after "Entertainment Tonight" posted the story, Hambrick called the real Goline seeking more details, and Goline told her verbally and through text messages that Hambrick had been dealing with an impostor, the people with knowledge of the exchange said.

E-mails obtained by AP show that Hambrick sent a message to Goline's real e-mail address showing the exchange with the impostor, asking "Are you saying this is now not your e-mail address? That you did not send me these e-mails?"

Goline responded: "This is not my e-mail."

Kelsey Grammer Released from the Hospital



Kelsey Grammer was released Wednesday from a Hawaiian hospital where he was recovering from a mild heart attack.

The 53-year-old Frasier star is "resting comfortably at his Hawaiian residence," his rep says, and "wishes to thank those who phoned, emailed, or wrote expressions of concern to him."

Grammer experienced symptoms Saturday after paddle boarding with his wife Camille. He was taken a local hospital where it was found he had suffered the heart attack.

Jamie Lynn Spears & Fiancé Getting Ready for Baby



Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge are in full-on nesting mode.

The parents-to-be, who recently purchased their first home together in Liberty, Miss., are preparing for the imminent birth of their child, sources tell PEOPLE.

"They're very happy," says a source. "They're a fun little couple."

To get settled in their new home, Spears, 17, and Aldridge, 19, recently had furniture – including an elaborately carved four-poster king-size canopy bed, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa – delivered to the house.

Spears's mom, Lynne, is helping her daughter decorate the nursery, with the color scheme of pink, brown, and "silver-green," says an insider.

Spears, who is due to give birth soon, has been keeping a low profile as she readies the new house for her baby. The five-acre Liberty property is already equipped with a barn and studio, which was formerly used as a hair salon.

One new neighbor, who has already offered to babysit, says, "They're just a sweet little old couple."

Spears and Aldridge, who got engaged in March, plan to wed after the baby is born.

Jim Carrey: Jenny's Son Taught Me How to Love

As he led 8,500 people through the streets of Washington, D.C., Wednesday, hand-in-hand with his daughter, Jane, McCarthy and Evan, the actor led told PEOPLE, "He taught me how to love. And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny's spirit."

Bridget Moynahan Recalls Being 'Heartbroken' and Pregnant



For Bridget Moynahan, bringing her newborn son home alone last year was "frightening" – and far from a dream – she reveals to Harper's Bazaar.

"I'm not sure anyone – and I could be wrong in this – grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom," Moynahan, 37, says in the magazine's July issue.

Shortly after the end of her three-year relationship with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady – who is currently dating Gisele Bündchen – Moynahan announced her pregnancy.

"When you're suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you're in your 30s, it's a hard conversation. I'm a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that's the way I'd be doing this," she says. "For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family."

She gave birth to John – whom she gave her last name – last August. "I walk in and just started sobbing," she says of coming home alone with her son. "All of a sudden, you have this newborn you have no training for. It's frightening."

But having family and friends like I, Robot costar Will Smith rally around her, made it easier. "I got so much out of that," she says of that "traumatic time of being heartbroken" and pregnant. "It's golden and it's tough and it was f---ed up. But now I have a child, and it's the best thing in the world."

Dennis Farina Formally Charged for Carrying Gun at LA



Law & Order star Dennis Farina was formally charged Wednesday for carrying a loaded .22-caliber handgun in his briefcase through Los Angeles International Airport security, city prosecutors said.

Farina was charged with three misdemeanors: Carrying a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded weapon in public, and possession of a weapon in a secure area of an airport.

If convicted on all counts, Farina faces a maximum penalty of 30 months in jail, and $3,000 in fines.

Farina, 64, was arrested last month after airport screeners found the gun as he prepared to board a plane.

The actor was reportedly apologetic, explaining to airport police that he had forgotten the gun was there before he drove to L.A. from Arizona for a flight to Chicago.

A rep for the actor was not immediately available for comment.

Senator Barack Obama made sweeping history last night as he won enough delegates in the Democratic Party to become the presumptive nominee for President of the United States. For the first time in history, an African American has become the presidential nominee of one of this country's major political parties ... and I couldn't be more thrilled and proud of my country as a result. I knew this day would come ... and now I look forward to the day that this country elects said African American, Barack Obama, as our nation's leader -- but first things first. There is a little matter of Senator Hillary Clinton to figure out first. Here are pics of Sen. Obama and his wife Michelle in St. Paul, MN last night where he declared victory in the Democratic primary race in his bid for the presidency:




"Tonight, I can stand here and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States." With those words, Barack Obama made history Tuesday night. Sixteen months after launching his brash, long-shot quest for the White House, Barack Obama claimed victory as the Democrats' standard-bearer - the first African-American candidate anointed by either major party for the White House. The backdrop chosen for Obama's declaration of victory was an in-your-face message to GOP opponent John McCain - the arena in St. Paul that will be the site of this summer's Republican National Convention. "Tonight, we mark the end of one historic journey with the beginning of another - a journey that will bring a new and better day to America," Obama said to 17,000 cheering, joyous supporters. Another 15,000 crowded the streets outside. Obama and his wife, Michelle, who wore a violet dress, ascended the stage amid thunderous applause. Obama kissed her on the cheek before she left the stage and he began to speak. The senator thanked his family and staff but reserved his most heartfelt thanks to his grandmother, who lives in Hawaii and can't travel. "Tonight is for her," he said. The nomination prize became Obama's as scores more superdelegates rallied to his side Tuesday. His delegate share from the last two primaries in South Dakota and Montana sealed his win over Hillary Clinton. Obama's bold and successful challenge to Clinton, a former First Lady with worldwide fame and unmatched political machines, ranks with the biggest political upsets in modern American history. Obama, with his fans cheering their approval, offered generous tribute to the vanquished New York senator even as she held off from conceding defeat. "As someone who's shared a stage with her many times, I can tell you that what gets Hillary Clinton up in the morning" is "an unyielding desire to improve the lives of ordinary Americans, no matter how difficult the fight may be," Obama said.

It was a long, hard fought primary season and much congratulation goes out to Sen. Obama for securing the Democratic Party's nomination. As I said, I always knew that the day would come when our country would see an African American not only lead one of the two major political parties (and I *always* knew it'd be the Democratic Party) but go on to lead our country as a whole. Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd see it in my lifetime but here we are ... poised on the brink of this major and important accomplishment. But, we do still have to get thru the actual presidential campaign this Fall ... [Source]

... and it's unclear exactly where Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton will fit in the race for the White House. Sen. Clinton congratulated Obama on securing the delegates needed for the party nomination but she has yet to concede the race -- possibly until she is asked to join Obama's ticket in the Vice President position. Sen. Hillary Clinton says she's not out, but with rival Sen. Barack Obama securing his long-held lead, many are asking what she plans to do next. Both candidates will be in Washington on Wednesday, first when they each address the influential American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and later when they are both expected in the Senate for a budget vote. Obama became his party's presumptive nominee Tuesday and will be looking to unite Democrats divided by the long and contentious primary season. Some say putting Clinton on the ticket might fit the bill, but the former first lady promised Tuesday only that she wouldn't make an immediate decision on her future. "Now, the question is: Where do we go from here?" she asked supporters gathered at New York's Baruch College on Tuesday. "And given how far we've come and where we need to go as a party, it's a question I don't take lightly. This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight." Clinton lavished her opponent with praise, saying he ran an "extraordinary race" and made politics more palatable for many. "Sen. Obama has inspired so many Americans to care about politics and empowered so many more to get involved," she said. "Our party and our democracy is stronger and more vibrant as a result. So we are grateful." But with some Democrats clamoring for her to join Obama on the ticket, and with the Democratic National Convention -- and thus, the official anointment -- still more than two months out, the senator from New York gave no hint as to her plan.

Furthermore:

Four top Democratic leaders on Wednesday morning asked all uncommitted superdelegates to make their preferences known by Friday. While they did not formally endorse Mr. Obama or urge Mrs. Clinton to exit the race, Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid and West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin said in a joint statement: "Democrats must now turn our full attention to the general election." They added that the party needed to "stand united and begin our march toward reversing the eight years of failed Bush/McCain policies that have weakened our country." But Mrs. Clinton's top aides on Wednesday morning continued to sidestep questions about when she would suspend her campaign, even as some of her supporters began ratcheting up pressure on Mr. Obama to take her on as his running mate. Robert L. Johnson, a prominent Clinton-backer and the founder of Black Entertainment Television, said Wednesday on CNN's "American Morning" that he planned to enlist members of the Congressional Black Caucus to push Mr. Obama to accept Mrs. Clinton as his vice presidential nominee, adding that Mrs. Clinton had not directed his efforts but was aware of them. Mr. Johnson argued that an Obama-Clinton ticket would have the best chance of winning in the general election and would help unify the Democratic Party. Lanny Davis, an aide in the Clinton White House, said he was circulating a petition asking Mr. Obama to pick Mrs. Clinton as his running mate. Mr. Davis said he was acting on his own. Later, however, Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton campaign chairman, insisted on CNN that there had been "absolutely zero discussions" about whether she would accept a vice presidential nod. Mr. McAuliffe said Mrs. Clinton wanted to talk things over with her supporters on Wednesday. "There is plenty of time," Mr. McAuliffe said, continuing to argue that she had won the popular vote, a notion disputed by the Obama campaign. Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton talked early Wednesday morning by telephone. He congratulated her and renewed his offer to "sit down when it makes sense for you," according to a spokesman for Mr. Obama, Robert Gibbs. Mrs. Clinton responded positively, Mr. Gibbs said, but added there were no immediate plans to meet on Wednesday. Attention is focused at this point on the delicate dance between Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton, a relationship that has been rife throughout this primary battle with complicated tensions.

And here we are ... at the end of a Democratic primary that was hard fought between a woman and a Black man and I couldn't be more thrilled. I have been totally convinced that the Democrats are going to win back the White House this year and I've been so excited that no matter which Democratic frontrunner ended up with the nomination (Obama or Clinton) I'd be happy with the result. I have been supporting Sen. Clinton in the primary race but am now throwing all of my support for Senator Barack Obama. Whether or not the ticket turns out to be an Obama/Clinton ticket, I will happily support and campaign for Obama to win the presidency of the United States of America. The time is now for change ... it is going to happen.

The Crying Game

Yesterday it was reported that Nick Hogan's request to be freed from his solitary Pinellas County jail cell in Florida was denied ... so in retaliation, Hogan's attorney filed a lawsuit against the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department for releasing recordings of his private phone conversations (which have been made widely public and subject to hilarious scrutiny). And so, in retaliation of that move, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department has released photos of the jail cell that Nick is being held in ... you know, just for kicks:



Nick Hogan does not want to be singled out by Florida's Pinellas County Sheriff's Department. Except when he does. The Hulkster's son, currently serving an eight-month sentence for felony reckless driving stemming from a crash that left his friend in critical condition, has filed a civil suit against the department for releasing recordings of his private phone conversations. News of the suit surfaced on the same day a judge denied the younger Hogan's request to be removed from solitary confinement because it's causing him "unbearable anxiety." Hmm. Perhaps that's why it's called punishment. Officials said the 17-year-old, whose real name is Nick Bollea, was originally separated from other inmates because he is, until his July 27 birthday, a minor. This, despite him being convicted in adult court. The rejection and subsequent alone time shouldn't smart the teen too much, however, as he seems to prize his privacy above all else. Attorneys for Bollea have filed a civil suit against the Sheriff's Office for what they claim is a violation of his privacy rights, after the office released a series of phone conversations between the jailbird, his wrestler father and his mother. Pinellas County Sheriff's spokeswoman Marianne Pasha told E! News that the family had fair—and frequent—warning their calls were being recorded. "During the phone calls, there is a recording that comes on reminding callers that their call is being recorded," she said. "All calls from the jail are collect calls and all persons involved in the calls are advised that the call is being taped." However, the Bolleas should feel free to go at it now. "We cannot comment on this case because there is now litigation pending," Pasha said. "And we will also not be able to release any more calls while this litigation is pending."

HMMMM ... the Hogans sure are making a big stink over this. I just don't understand how they don't get that Nick Hogan is BEING PUNISHED FOR HIS CRIME and is supposed to be made to feel "uncomfortable". It would be amazing if Nick's ass did get released from solitary confinement when he turns 18 ... so that he can be thrown into the general population ... and is made to understand what incarceration is really all about. That would be justice. It would also be fitting for him to stay in jail for his entire 8-month sentence, not getting out early for any reason at all. I suspect (and hope) that all of the Hogan's bitching will lead to just that result. Is it too much to hope that Nick Hogan is actually learning his lesson? Honestly, I have my doubts.

The coverstory of the new issue of US Weekly focuses on the problems that Papa Joe Simpson's meddling is causing for his eldest daughter Jessica Simpson and her hanging-by-a-thread relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The couple, who it was reported temporarily split a few weeks ago, have rekindled their romance ... on Romo's condition that Papa Joe back off and stop effing with their relationship. Papa Joe is defending his actions to exploit every facet of this children's private lives for financial gain (ie. selling wedding photos, exclusive private family news, etc.) by essentially saying that he is just doing his job:

In its new issue, Us Weekly reports that Jessica Simpson's controlling father Joe nearly destroyed her relationship with Tony Romo and was behind their brief split in May. Us reveals how the Dallas Cowboys quarterback gave the singer an ultimatum: Tell dad to back off! Joe defends himself, telling Us, "It's unfair to criticize me for what every manager does for his or her clients. And in this business, where people can quickly turn on you, who better than a parent to be working for his children?" He went on, "A parent will always be there for his kids and never give up on them. I work hard seven days a week for my girls because I love them. Why in the world would I ever want to do anything that would hurt my children?"

It seems clear to pretty much anyone with eyes that Papa Joe was a major factor in the destruction of Jessica's marriage to Nick Lachey and I can honestly believe that his meddling is causing the same destruction this time around for Jessimo. While I can agree that a parent can turn out to be an excellent manager for their children's professional careers, I know of far too many instances where biz comes before family and money is what overshadows everything. I've always felt that Dina Lohan is trying to become the female version of Papa Joe Simpson ... which says a lot about them both. I just hope, at the end of the day, that Daddy Simpson realizes that his daughters' welfare is of paramount importance. It is possible to be both a manager and a good father ... but the "father" part has to come first.

As much as I don't relish the idea of Ryan Phillippe reattached to any one else, I guess I don't really mind if he's found happiness with Abbie Conish. Ugh, his ex-wife is supposedly romancing Jake Gyllenhaal so I'd be fine with Ryan being with Abbie. I'd be more fine with Ryan being with Jake but the thought of those two doing the nasty might make my head explode. Le sigh.

I get that celebs might not always be in the mood to have their photo taken and they might not be in the mood to smile all of the time but I don't know that it's a good idea for newborn celebs like BlakeLey (PennLey?) to lok all pissy this early into their career. Gossip Girl can use all the help in the ratings that they can get ... it might be wise for the couple to at least feign happiness once in a while. They make a great couple ... I'd hate for them to start turning into a miserable couple.

ET "Actively Investigating" Angelina Baby Hoax



Angelina Jolie may not have birthed any more babies yet, but Entertainment Tonight is the not-so-proud parent of a newborn controversy.

While not exactly issuing a retraction, the stalwart celebrity-news show released a statement Wednesday saying its ultimately faulty story about Jolie's twins being born was the result of a hoax perpetrated by someone who has been impersonating Jolie's longtime assistant via email.

"Entertainment Tonight takes this very seriously and is, of course, concerned that the show may have been victimized by someone allegedly posing as a member of Ms. Jolie's team," the statement said. "We are actively investigating the matter and are reaching out to law enforcement agencies."

A rep for the show also said they did not know about the existence of an imposter until Monday, when Jolie's attorneys circulated a letter to media outlets warning them of the ersatz employee.

But sources have told the Associated Press (which ran with ET's "scoop") that ET was told after its online story went up—but before airtime Friday—that the information was no good.

According to an ET executive, a producer on the show obtained the impostor's BlackBerry email from a contact at CNN. When the faux assistant was asked via email whether rumors that Jolie had given birth were true, he/she replied in the affirmative.

ETonline.com ran with the Jolie story early Friday, attributing the info to an anonymous source who claimed to have been in the delivery room when the births took place.

But as reps for the couple, including Jolie and Brad Pitt's respective managers, started issuing one official denial after another and various other media outlets, including E! Online, began confirming that the buns were still safely in Jolie's oven, the story disappeared from ET's website.

However, on Friday's episode of ET, anchor Mary Hart said on air: "Just this morning, a source who says she was inside the delivery room tells us, 'Yes, the babies were born and, yes, mother and babies are fine.'"

According to the AP's sources, meanwhile, Holly Goline, Jolie's actual longtime assistant, informed the ET producer that she was not the person on the other end of that bogus email address before Friday's broadcast.

Lindsay Looking to Nip Bodyguard Suit in the Bud



Lindsay Lohan wants to make the bodyguard she says she never knew go away.

The starlet's legal camp is looking to settle a lawsuit brought against her by David Kim, who claims Lohan owes him more than $55,000 for his time spent as part of her security detail, according to court documents filed by both parties.

Detailing all sorts of thankless little extras he says he provided while on the job, Kim sued Lohan and her Crossheart Productions on April 7 for fraud, breach of oral contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress and various California Labor Code violations.

Meanwhile, the Mean Girls star maintains she doesn't know Kim and, subsequently, never employed him, either.

Leaving the rest of the fam home in France, Pitt arrived by himself and browsed through the gallery featuring 28 international exhibitors, according to a source.

So what did the design aficionado (above, with Design Miami director Ambra Medda) pick up during his two-hour tour?

Pitt’s new Family Lamp from Atelier van Lieshout (above) features foam and reinforced fiberglass figures of what appears to be an adult holding hands with two children.

The price of the lamp wasn’t disclosed by dealer Carpenters Workshop Gallery, but Pitt did pay $293,000 for a marble rococo-style table by Dutch designer Jeroen Verhoeven from the same dealer.

There’s more.

He spent $50,000 for two Bronze Poly Chairs by London-based Max Lamb. Yes, that’s $25,000 per chair!

And if that isn’t enough, Pitt ordered a rug made of aluminum thread. No word on how big a rug he ordered, but Silver Sky by Columbian designer Jorge Lizarazo is priced at $175 a square foot.

Pitt probably won’t stop there. Remember, he and Ang reportedly just bought and are moving into a $60 million estate in the south of France. They’ve got 35 bedrooms plus who knows how many other rooms to furnish.

Sharon Stone Apologizes Again



She's feeling the heat!

Sharon Stone was compelled to apologize one more time on Wednesday for saying at the Cannes film festival that the recent devastating earthquake in China was a result of bad "karma" stemming from the situation in Tibet.

"There have been numerous reports about what I said in Cannes," she said in the new statement. "I would like to set the record straight about what I feel in my heart and end all of the misunderstandings. Yes, I misspoke. I could not be more regretful of that mistake. It was unintentional. I apologize, those words were never meant to be hurtful to anyone, they were an accident of my distraction and a product of news sensationalism. I am deeply saddened by the pain that this whole situation has caused the victims of the devastating earthquake in China."

Timberlake's handlers reportedly have demanded that journalists sign crazy ass confidentiality agreements before being granted an audience with Timberlame.

The contract demanded among other things, that the journalist not mention anything personal or private, destroy all materials not approved in advance, and make freelancers personally liable for anything they might write about the former boy bander.

J.K. Rowling has just filed a lawsuit against the publisher of the London Star Map, PerezHilton.com has learned.

The celebrity map reportedly has details of the Harry Potter author's London residence and clear instructions on how to get there, something Rowling considers 'a gross invasion of privacy'.

In a statement, J.K. Rowling said, "The sole aim of London Star Map is self-evidently to incite, encourage and enable members of the public to track down and locate the exact location of private residences of various recognisable "celebrities" so that they can visit those residences." Rowling continued, "I'm a very private individual who regards my family's privacy and safety as having paramount importance. "

That sucks!

Doesn't seem right to make it that easy for creepy stalkers to find the object of their affections!

Then again, she has a lot of money to have a nice house in a safe home and lots of security people working for her!

We've Got Another Michael Lohan On Our Hands



Having a baby really does bring the family together!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter, Harlow, have done just that.

The Simple Life alum has recently gotten closer to her birth mother and, now, her rocker beau has done the same with his dad!

Joel and his twin brother Benji Madden had not spoken to their father, Roger Combs, for over 10 years - since he walked out on the family.

Roger, who's a recovering alcoholic, left his fam when Benji & Joel were high school freshman. He later returned to only leave again for good, this time on Christmas Eve when the two were 16.

Ever since then, the two have changed their last name to their mother's maiden name, Madden, and haven't spoken to their dad since.

That is until the birth of Harlow.

Ever since her birth back in January, Roger says he began receiving text messages from his sons.

AND, now he's ’bout to be f***ing things up by talking to the media about it!

Recently, after a Good Charlotte concert in New Jersey, Joel, Nicole, Benji and baby Harlow drove to Bowie, MD to visit Roger.

After holding his granddaughter for the first time, Roger tells In Touch Weekly, "It was a wonderful moment. She's such a beautiful girl. I felt very proud."

And as for Nicole, Roger says he feels she's already part of the family, telling the mag, "She's the sweetest girl anyone in their life could want as a daughter. Nicole's such a loving person and she has a great sense of humor. I've told Joel, 'Don't let this one get away. This one is a keeper for you, son.'"

And Roger says Nicole feels the same way.

He adds, "I was talking to Joel on the phone one day, and she grabbed the phone from him and said, 'Let me talk to him now. I want to talk to my dad.'"

And, taking a page from the Michael Lohan book of parenting and talking to the media, Roger continued talking.

He added about leaving his family behind that "My kids were mad at me, and I don't blame them. We are good today, and that's all that matters."

We love it. Keep on yapping!

Us Weekly is reporting that Jessica Simpson's father, dadager Joe Simpson, nearly ruined her relationship with Tony Romo.

He's apparently the reason for the couple's brief split in May.

Seems like Poppa Joe wanted to cas$h in on his daughter's impending engagement to the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback.

Dad had planned to sell the exclusive on the engagement news, and, as we all found out, things took a very sour turn!

According to the report, Tony has given Jessica a final ultimatum.

She needs to tell dad to back off or he's gone.

As for Joe, he says “It’s unfair to criticize me for what every manager does for his or her clients. And in this business, where people can quickly turn on you, who better than a parent to be working for his children?"

Riiiiiight.

Denise Richards, who claims to the media that she's over her ex, doesn't really seem to be.

In fact, sources are saying she's pretty desperate to get details about Charlie Sheen's wedding, which took place last Friday.

An insider says that Richards personally called OK! magazine headquarters to acquire an advanced copy of this week's issue that features Sheen's wedding on the cover.

Denise needs to get over it. Sheen is happy, in love, and over you!

The source adds, “She was feverishly trying to get her hands on a copy. She wanted to prepare herself for what she was going to see on the newsstands."

It must sting a little bit.

OK! also did photo shoots with Richards and Sheen back in the day during and after her marriage to Charlie.

The source continues, "She feels like she knows them and can ask a favor, I guess."

But as for getting her a copy of the magazine early, a rep for OK! just had to say “We’re still printing.”

Snubbed!



As we mentioned last month, former Star Trek star George Takei, better remembered as Sulu, will be marrying his longtime boyfriend of 21 years later this September.

And ,although you would assume he'd be inviting all of his former Star Trek co-stars, there's one name who won't make the list, as usual.

William Shatner!

Poor guy, it must suck to be him. He never gets invited anywhere. He wasn't even invited to make a cameo in the new Star Trek film!

Talk about a major snub!

As for not being invited to the wedding, Brad Altman, Takei's partner, tells the AP radio, "We have only 200 seats. Our contact list has, like, 3,500 names, so we have to whittle it down and I don't know if William Shatner is going to make the cut."

Takei and Shatner have had their disagreements in the past. Especially with Takei and other cast members getting annoyed by Shatner's constant pressuring of the directors to have several close-ups of Captain Kirk. Even when the dialogue didn't include him!

Classic!

Takei has said, "One or two times, you know, is fine. But when it happens almost regularly, it gets to be a little irritating."

But despite the past, Takei has stated, "No one could have created the character Capt. Kirk the way he brought his singular ######bolism to the character."

Well put.

We're behind Takei, though. You're wedding day is an intimate affair. You should only invite those close to you that mean the most.

Besides, they probably didn't want Shatner harassing the wedding photographers to take only close-up pictures of him!
