Gossip Girl Taylor-Made for Modeling Deal



She may not be the subject of a spinoff, but Taylor Momsen is definitely on her way to getting more camera time.

At just 14 years old, the Gossip Girl star has signed a deal to be repped by leading poseur agency IMG Models.

While Momsen has yet to endorse or front any products or brand, it's likely only a matter of time. IMG already has a healthy roster of star talent and is likely hoping to do for Momsen what it did for another teen TV star-turned-prolific spokesceleb (turned pot-possessing arrestee, but we'll forget about that part for now), Mischa Barton.

Momsen now joins fellow IMG talent Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, Liv Tyler, Selma Blair and Hilary Duff.

Gene Simmons' Kiss of Death



KISS mainman Gene Simmons has been blaming the death of the record industry on bands like Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and others who have experimented with alternative methods of releasing music.

Oh, and the fans, too.

"The record industry is dead. It's six feet underground and unfortunately the fans have done this. They've decided to download and file share," said Simmons, according to an AOL Australia report.

"There is no record industry around so we're going to wait until everybody settles down and becomes civilised. As soon as the record industry pops its head up we'll record new material."

Are you happy now, ungrateful fans of music?

Anyway, the death of the music industry has at least gotta be good for the Kiss Kasket, the $4,700 coffin the band used to sell on its website. It could be used as a beer cooler until the lucky fan died and was placed inside. (Remember to remove the brewskis first!)

See, Kiss would never do anything to harm the music industry.

The actress who never met a funny hat she didn't like is in talks to star in The Ivy Chronicles, a dramedy about a single gal making her way in New York.

If that sounds a little too familiar, this time around Parker would play newly divorced mom Ivy Ames, who loses her high-powered job and has to give up her uptown digs for an apartment more suited to...well, someone like Carrie Bradshaw.

Tony Parker a Global Baller in '09

After five stints as the face of pixilated basketball in France, the actress' two-time NBA All-Star hubby Tony Parker has been chosen to grace the cover of the global edition of Electronic Arts' NBA Live 09.

Meaning, Parker's 26-year-old mug and San Antonio Spurs uniform will be frontin' in North America for the first time, starting Oct. 7, and then everywhere else where video games are sold Oct. 14.

"I have a long history with EA Sports," the Belgian-born, French-bred Parker said. Doing us the honors this time around is Tori Spelling, who appears with 2-week-old daughter Stella on the front of OK!—telling the glossy she considers her baby to be "a miracle."

Stone Wants Share in Son's Custody



Sharon Stone is following in the footsteps of an unlikely forebear—namely, Britney Spears—and seeking a little more court-approved mother-son time.

E! News has obtained court papers filed by the China-angering actress in which she seeks a modified custody order for 7-year-old son Roan, whom she adopted with ex-hubby Philip Bronstein back in 2000.

Bronstein, the Komodo dragon-angering former editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, split from Stone in 2004 and currently retains primary custody of the boy.

Miley Wants Her Ex "to Be Upset"



While Miley Cyrus has remained mum on the specifics of her love life, she does admit that her new song, "7 Things," is indeed about an ex of hers.

And while she hopes the former b-f is affected by the tune—"I want them to be upset [when they hear the song]. That was my point," she tells Ryan Seacrest—she leaves the identity of the culprit to our imagination.

Of course, that doesn’t stop Ryan from trying to pry the answer from her...

Despite all the rumors and recent reports…

Madonna and her husband are not getting divorced, or so Guy Ritchie's mother would like us to believe.

The filmmaker's mother, Lady Amber Leighton, is speaking out about the speculation, calling the breakup talk "total tosh" (British speak for "bullshit").

Ritchie's mom says there was 'no conversation about divorce because there is no divorce’ and described allegations that couple had spoken to lawyers as ‘works of fiction’.

She added: "It is absolute rubbish, worse than that. Guy will be furious at me talking to you but I feel I can’t just let these reports go unanswered as they make me so angry and they are hurtful intrusions into their private lives. They are no different to most other couples and we all know that being together can be hard sometimes and marriages are not always a bed of roses. But like other couples they work at keeping their relationship happy and fresh and they are a close and loving couple who have a family to bring up. There’s no conversation about divorce because there is no divorce. Madonna is in New York at the moment finishing off [rehearsing for] a tour and he will join her there after the weekend. That is not a couple splitting up. I’ll say it one more time, they are not getting divorced; the speculation is TT – that’s total tosh."

Congratulations to Miz Angelina Jolie!

The very pregnant star had a HUGE opening this weekend - and it wasn't the twins trying to pop out.

Angie's film, Wanted, did huge business at the box office in America.

The movie made $51.1 million and….

- Wanted was the biggest opening of a live action film in Jolie's career
- It turned out to be the best June opening ever for an R-rated movie, beating Knocked Up's $30.6M, and the 6th highest R-rated opening of all time
- The studio expected only a $35+M opening, so the film did much better than anticipated
- Angie proved she is a big draw: Cinemascore said the main reasons given for choosing to see Wanted were the action (67%) and Jolie (61%).

We weren't able to see it this weekend, but we definitely wanna check out the pic this week.

Here are some new ads for Emporio Armani Underwear featuring none other that soccer star David Beckham.

It’s been rumored that the 33-year-old soccer stud is in negotiations with soft drink giant Pepsi to launch his own brand of bottled water.

Becks is reportedly going to rake in another $3 million to put his name and face on water products to be sold worldwide.

“[Beckham] is a global brand in himself and there is more scope for him to promote his own products,” a source reveals. “David is keen to go down the healthy route to keep in with his sporty image. He has an idea for creating a range of healthy products, including water. That’s something PepsiCo might develop with him.”

Report: Model Dead in Apparent Suicide



Twenty-year-old model Ruslana Korshunova jumped to her death from the ninth-floor balcony of her New York City apartment in an apparent suicide Saturday.

There were no signs of a struggle inside Korshunova's downtown apartment police told the The New York Post.

The 5-foot-8 model from Kazakhstan, 20, was dubbed, "The Russian Rapunzel," for her long, flowing hair. She graced the covers of French Elle and Russian Vogue, and appeared in ads for March Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior.

"Our hearts are with her family," a spokesperson for Korshunova's agency, IMG (who also reps Heidi Klum and Kate Moss) told The New York Post.

A pal told The New York Post that Korshunova had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris and seemed to be "on top of the world."

In months leading up to her apparent suicide, Korshunova ranted about love on a Web site, New York's Daily News reported Sunday.

"Do not confuse love and desire," Korshunova wrote on May 30. "Love is the sun, desire - only flash. Desire dazzles, and the sun gives life."

On March 11, the green-eyed beauty wrote, "I'm a witch. I don't care what you say!!! I know what it is. I know why my other relationships didn't work out, 'cause I'm unpredictable. Why are you afraid of it?"

In another telling post, the model who was to turn 21 on July 2, wrote, "I'm so lost. Will I ever find myself?"

Madonna Still Staying Mum Amidst Break Up Rumors

Madonna ducked into the back of a car in Manhattan on Friday morning before heading to Kabbalah services with Carlos Leon and her children that night. I can imagine it's been a rough week for Madonna as the rumors of an impending divorce have reached fever pitch and from more legitimate sources than ever before. While she and Guy have yet to respond to these most recent stories, the newest is that he is headed to NYC this weekend as to make one more effort to save their marriage. It's sad to hear of any long term couple breaking up, but at least Madonna has her three kids to put a smile on her face, even in the rain.

Last night on Letterman, Mary-Kate Olsen admitted that she went to high school with douchier all-star Spencer Pratt. While Dave tried to get her to say more, MK mostly revealed was that he had a bad temper on the soccer field. Today of course Spencer had a response all ready, "I don't really get why she'd use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one's going to see...She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me." He went on to call her a "troll" and the "less cute twin." Clearly, this is a feud for the ages — so whose side are you on?

Nelson Mandela Celebrates with 46,664 of His Best Friends

London's Hyde Park turned into a party scene this afternoon as Nelson Mandela kept on celebrating his ninetieth birthday with a star-studded concert. Will and Jada were up and at 'em after last night's Elton John party to get on stage, while Geri Halliwell and Prince William's girlfriend, Kate Middleton, surveyed the scene. Amy Winehouse, who was looking unusually tan, managed to take the stage despite her recent health problems. A crowd of 46,664, a number chosen as that was Nelson's prison number during his 27-year incarceration in South Africa, turned out to mark the occasion. Between this big show and dinner with his friends on Wednesday evening, hopefully Mr. Mandela had a perfect and memorable birthday.

Nicole and Joel Are Unofficially Family

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden kept baby Harlow under wraps yesterday as they ran errands in LA. The first item on the agenda was a stop by the DCMA store to say hi to Benji, and then it was off to Whole Foods with the Maddens' mom Robin in tow. The new parents are all about family these days, but they're happy to reiterate that they have no plans to make it official with a wedding anytime soon. While we'd love to see Nicole in a wedding dress, it's obvious that they have a sense of humor about holding off and are just making Harlow the center of their world for now.

Spencer vs. M-K: Bruising Battle of the Sorta Stars



Nothing we like better than a feud between a couple of our favorite fame wisps. So we're digging it that Hills hunk (of something) Spencer Pratt is bashing back at Mary-Kate Olsen:

"I know I've made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman," Pratt said in an interview.

You may recall that Mary-Kate told Dave that Spencer had a bad temper in high school and agreed with Letterman that Spencer is "wormy." (If you missed M-K's diss-a-thon, no worries, check out the clip below.)

Trying, unsuccessfully, to squirm away from the wormy label, Pratt also told Us Weekly that Mary-Kate "should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me."

Continuing on in his vehemently vermicular way, Spencer feigned taking the high road:

"I forgive her, though. She's had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough."

Nice! There are lots of ways to be less cute, and Pratt seems to have mastered them all.

They may not be Scientologists, but Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith show a lot of support for the controversial religion.

The Hollywood power couple are two of the big-name founders of a new private elementary school near Los Angeles that will incorporate a teaching method developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard and employ some teachers who are church members.

It turns out Chris Kattan would rather drape himself in green than gold lamé.

The former Saturday Night Live star swapped vows Saturday with model Sunshine Tutt in what was described to E! News as an environmentally friendly affair.

"Married in beautiful Yosemite Valley, Calif., today," Kattan, 37, writes on his website.

The couple, who enjoyed an uncharacteristically long Hollywood engagement of 18 months, walked the aisle in front of a small group. Invitees included Kattan's onetime SNL castmates Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon.

Rose McGowan to Wield Red Sonja's Sword



Rose McGowan has been the go-go dancer with the machine-gun leg, and now she's going to be the She-Devil With a Sword.

The titian-haired former Charmed star has signed on to play the titular mythical comic book hero in Red Sonja, to be produced by fiancé Robert Rodriguez and directed by Highland: Endgame helmer Douglas Aarniokoski, Millennium Films and Nu Images announced Friday.

"This is an amazing property and film for our company," studio exec Avi Lerner said. "Working with the talented Robert Rodriguez, having Rose McGowan as Red Sonja and Douglas Aarniokoski directing is a fantastic combination. We could not be happier."

Housewives Borrows a Neighbor From Boomtown

The former Boomtown star will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives this fall as a new addition to the neighborhood who could become more suit-clad prey for Nicollette Sheridan's man-eater Edie Britt, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Steven Tyler: Dude Looks Like a Liar



People were scratching their heads last month when Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler said he checked into rehab to recover from foot surgery.

Now, the 60-year-old rocker reveals that he was actually fighting a dependency on pain pills and sleep medication prescribed post-surgery.

"To have your feet done, to have your leg done, you have to be on narcotics. You have to be on sleep aids at night," he told the Associated Press. "I just put the brakes on and checked into detox and just pulled the plug on all of it."

The surgery repaired longtime foot injuries caused by 30-plus years of high-energy stage performances with the Grammy-winning rock 'n' roll band.

Tyler has been sober since 1986, when he went to rehab for drugs and alcohol.

Leonardo DiCaprio & Michelle Williams Flash Their Shutter Smiles

Tropic Thunder Pours Out the Booty Sweat



Paramount Pictures is hoping Booty Sweat leaves a good taste in America's mouth. (We know, it felt disgusting just writing that.)

The studio has announced plans to market a real version of the aforenamed energy drink that can be spied periodically throughout the upcoming Ben Stiller-directed comedy Tropic Thunder, starring Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black as actors who get left behind in an actual war zone after ticking off the director of the war film they're supposed to be acting in.

While product tie-ins and increasingly viral marketing campaigns are nothing new—what would McDonald's and Burger King do without Disney, hobbits and superheroes?—Paramount believes that by actually creating a usable product to promote an upcoming film, not to mention one that will compete against Rockstar and Red Bull, they've broken the mold.

Daughter Matilda Was Heath's Focus on The Dark Knight Set



Heath Ledger's maniacal twist on the Joker in The Dark Knight in no way resembled his true character off set – that of a proud father to his 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, his costars say.

"Because he died people want a dark story [that] he was so obsessed with the character, he was so contaminated by the Joker and he couldn't sleep and all of that stuff," said costar Gary Oldman, who plays Lt. Jim Gordon in the film, adding that wasn't the case.

"In between takes he would sit on the curbside and smoke a cigarette and laugh and talk about his daughter Matilda," added Oldman Sunday at the press day for the film. "I thought he was just a beautiful kid. I thought he was just wonderful. I had a real affection for him.

Ledger, who died in January, gushed about his daughter with actress Michelle Williams to costars on set.

"Heath showed me pictures of [Matilda] ... [he] would come in and say she did this and she did that," recalled Aaron Eckhart, who plays District Attorney Harvey Dent in the sequel out July 18.

But Ledger's other love on set was for his character, the Joker. Eckhart added: "He really created his look. That character — Heath loved so much. He really cared about the Joker."

Director Christopher Nolan said he needed an actor who would be "truly fearless" for the role and Ledger was up for the challenge.

"[For] those who knew him and those who had the privilege of working with him, it's pretty amazing the disparity between the person he was and the monster that he created for us," Nolan said. "To see that being created from this very gentle person is a real testament to his skill as an actor."

Bette Midler's Long-Lost Wedding Photos Found



Better late than never: When Bette Midler and artist Martin Rochus Sebastian von Haselberg tied the knot in 1984, it was at a quickie ceremony in Sin City.

"We were married in the Starlight Chapel in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator," recalls the Divine Miss M (who is still the divine Mrs. von Haselberg). "We never got any wedding pictures."

That is, until earlier this month, reports The Insider.

Following the shutdown of the Starlight Chapel three weeks ago, "the guy closed the chapel and sent us the pictures," says Midler, 62, now headlining at Caesars Palace in The Showgirl Must Go On. "We were so shocked."

Pregnant Angelina Jolie Checks into a Hospital



Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in the South of France in anticipation of giving birth to twins, the Associated Press reports.

"There's no urgency," hospital representative Nadine Bauer tells the AP. "[Jolie's admittance has] been planned for a long time."

Bauer added, "She's very well. Everything is fine."

Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting their fifth and sixth children. The clan currently consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

In May, Jolie, 33, said on the Today show, "Unlike most women, I love being pregnant. [It makes] you feel more like a woman than you've ever felt. You just feel like everything about your body is there for your baby."

As for the babies' first home, Jolie and Pitt recently signed a three-year lease on an estate in the French Riviera.

Madonna's Rep: No Divorce, No Affair



Madonna's spokeswoman has released an exclusive statement to PEOPLE rejecting reports that the singer's marriage to her film director husband Guy Ritchie is on the rocks.

"Madonna's husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving)," Liz Rosenberg told PEOPLE. "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

Rosenberg also denied a published report of a relationship between the singer and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

"Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary," Rosenberg says. "They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There's really not anything to comment on beyond that."

Adds Rosenberg: "It's nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna's way lately – much of it untrue." She joked: "By the way, rumors of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated, as well."

Kate & Lance Have a Beachside Lunch with Goldie Hawn



Lance Armstrong and Kate Hudson have already spent time with each other's kids. On Tuesday, the couple kept their relationship all in the family by hanging out with her mother.

Casually dressed in a gray Nike T-shirt and matching pants, the cycling champ, along with Hudson and her mom, actress Goldie Hawn, met for a late lunch Tuesday afternoon at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, Calif.

The trio, along with an unidentified male, arrived just before 2 p.m. They got some privacy from fellow diners and the throng of paparazzi camped out front by sitting on the patio at the back of the beachside restaurant.

"They looked like they were having a great time and enjoying each other's company," says an onlooker. "Goldie was all smiles. Lance was sitting next to her and they were chatting while Kate was laughing. They were all just really happy."

A tanned Hudson, wearing a long turquoise halter dress, sat on the other side of her beau during the intimate lunch. At the end of the meal, the group left together through the front entrance.

Witness Wants Out of Brinkley, Cook Divorce Case



With the Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook divorce case set to go to trial on Wednesday, a lawyer for a woman who Cook had a "very friendly relationship" with last year has criticized the supermodel for taking her to court to testify against Cook.

Carri Lyn Ciamarra is currently scheduled to take the stand July 10, but her attorney, Anthony Mangone, says he's attempting to stop her from testifying, because she and Cook did not become close until after he and Brinkley were already legally separated.

"This is nothing more than a jilted woman trying to ruin someone else's family," Mangone told PEOPLE. "We feel her testimony is unnecessary and irrelevant to the current proceedings."

Ciamarra, a 31-year-old fitness model from Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., saw Cook for seven months last year, says Mangone, who confirms his client is currently married and mother to a young son.

For her part, Ciamarra issued the following statement through her attorney: "I first came to know Peter Cook in February 2007 after meeting him in New York City. The nature of that relationship is a private matter."

Asked whether Cook and Ciamarra were indeed dating last year, Mangone replied, "She maintained a very friendly relationship with Peter Cook from February 2007 to August 2007 … She's a private citizen, and it's not fair to explain what type of relationship it was."

Although Mangone criticized Brinkley, the attorney did not paint her estranged architect husband as an innocent victim.

"He's got some credibility issues, and I'm not trying to gauge what kind of relationship they had or who decided to end it," said Mangone. "The press has done a good job in exposing who he is."

He added that his client has no desire to be used as a pawn in court. "They might expect her to sit and cower in the courtroom. She's not going to sit down and die for these people, and it's a shame she's being dragged into this mess."

Kristy Lee Cook Scores Record Deal



American Idol contestant Kristy Lee Cook, season 7’s plucky cowgirl who braved Simon Cowell’s barbs week after week, has inked a record deal with a country music label.

Cook, the seventh place finisher whose performance of the Beatles’s “Eight Days a Week” was compared to “Dolly Parton on helium” by Cowell, had positioned herself as this year’s country artist on Idol, singing selections from Martina McBride and Lee Greenwood. Now, she’ll be a label mate of the show’s most famous country star, Carrie Underwood, after signing with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville.

Cook, a 24-year-old native of Selma, Oregon, will release her first single, the up-tempo “15 Minutes of Shame” on August 11 and she’ll record her album (produced by Brett James, one of the songwriters behind Underwood’s hit “Jesus Take the Wheel”) between Idol tour dates. Her album is expected to be released this fall.

“I’ve wanted this for so many years,” Cook said in a statement. “To have the chance to be a country singer — to make the music I love — and to have enjoyed the support of so many American Idol fans this past season, it all means more than I can put into words.”

Sony BMG Nashville Chairman Joe Galante said Cook will be “very relatable to the country audience and is destined to have hits.”

Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff Reunite for Hancock Premiere



Forget the free popcorn. There was an extra-special added bonus to the Hancock premiere in Hollywood Monday night: an impromptu show from leading man Will Smith and his old partner in rap, DJ Jazzy Jeff.

"I'm out of shape – I'm playing an out of shape superhero here," Smith, 39, said on a stage surrounded by carefully wrecked cars, "prison-cage" private lounges and a moon bounce for the kids.

But Smith seemed anything but winded in the party space outside Hollywood High School as he performed many of his hit songs, including the theme from the TV show that launched him to stardom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Liv Tyler Celebrates Her 31st Birthday in Paris



Liv Tyler isn't letting her recent separation from British rocker Royston Langdon keep her from having a happy birthday.

The actress, who turned 31 on Tuesday, celebrated by traveling to Paris for a couple of days with her sister Chelsea, 19.

The single mom told PEOPLE she is "excited" about her vacation. "It's my birthday tomorrow," she said Monday night, at a Paris bash called The Blue Soiree at the Hotel Crillon for Lanvin and Acne, "and I'm going to spend it with my sister and we're going to a Givenchy show. I'm excited to have a little fun here with my sister."

Hometown to Honor Heath Ledger with Theater



Perth, Australia, is getting a new landmark: a $87 million, 575-seat auditorium named for a native son, the Heath Ledger Theatre.

Western Australia state Premier Alan Carpenter said at a dedication ceremony Tuesday that the name was appropriate, given how supportive the late actor had always been for fellow young performers, the Associated Press reports.

"Heath Ledger was totally dedicated to the craft of being an actor and that's what made him successful," Carpenter said. "I think what we're doing is continuing that support for young people who want to make a career in the arts and acting, stage and in film, whatever it happens to be."

Dr. Drew: Celebs Shouldn't Rush Rehab



When it comes to alcoholism and drug dependency, celebrities often looking for a quick fix says Dr. Drew Pinksy.

Stars often choose supposedly intense abbreviated programs in exclusive environments to rid them of their demons – but the addiction specialist insists such regimens often do not tackle the problem properly.

"If you had cancer, you would drop everything," Pinsky tells the Associated Press. "You would take whatever time it needed to do the treatment and do what it takes to get out on the other side. Here's a disease that is more dangerous, and we can't get people to take three months."

The host of radio's Love Line and VH1's Celebrity Rehab claims that substance abuse has reached a crisis point in Hollywood.

"Today, in the celebrity world, we're seeing an addiction epidemic," he said. "I don't like treating celebrities ... they're very, very difficult."

Amy Winehouse Leaves the Hospital



Amy Winehouse has left the hospital, it was confirmed Tuesday.

The performer, who had a busy weekend of concerts, was discharged from the clinic where she has been staying for more than 10 days on Monday.

Her representative, Chris Goodman, said, "She has left [the] hospital. She is continuing as an outpatient."

The singer, 24, returned to the facility during rehearsals and between her performances for Nelson Mandela and at the Glastonbury Festival. But she left for good on Monday.

"She will return for regular appointments for check[-up]s," said Goodman.

He adds, "There comes a time when you are ready to leave the hospital, and so she left. No one was trying to keep her there. It was completely up to her – everyone knew she would not stay there forever."

Despite some controversy over her performance at the rock festival – it was reported the singer allegedly took a swing at an audience member – Goodman says Winehouse is "looking great and feeling great."
